  1. This, yes. I can’t believe how she can’t see the fact that any movie with her name attached to it is going to get trashed before it’s even seen by critics or any trailers shown. The idea of her writing a biopic and directing it herself seems to be destining it for failure..
  2. Mostly single player, story-driven like Assassin’s Creed, Uncharted, classic Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Red Dead Redemption 2, Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, Metal Gear Solid, God of War, The Last of Us..etc ?
  3. I’m ok with a Blu-Ray, 4K Blu-Ray, iTunes and streaming service releases. It would be great to access the show in the best possible resolution, on any platform.
  4. I wish Jonas was fully in charge of God Control too... it’s like I love the video but it could’ve been a lot better if he was completely in charge. There was too much “filler” in between and a limited scope... I also wish he’s doing the tour. His work was always special, and her recent collaborators didn’t really add anything special to her tour releases.
  5. I bet lol. Does she even realize that she’s mainly selling this to die hard fans and with such long wait, even our interest is fading? Lol
  6. I don’t think it takes THAT long. I mean for a movie or a TV show season, yes. But a concert? I think it would be shorter unless there’s some excessive editing and alterations.
  7. Please don’t jinx the MX release to be as late as 2022 with the biopic ?
  8. There was never any actual announcement of that. It’s most likely fans making up stuff based on how long it’s been and how less and less likely for it to be profitable as a release at this point. But it’s happening, according to this post.
  9. Can we please agree not to call it DVD? DVD is so 2001. It’s 2021, it’s Blu-Ray and hopefully 4K stream with it, at least. Let’s not jinx this to be another Kylie disaster.
  10. Die Another Day is the best music video any artist has ever made or will ever make. Period.
  11. Wasn’t there a rumor of a Sia written song proposed to Madonna either as a whole song or a duet called Trust which was meant for MDNA and was rumored to be “a song like Live to Tell but sadder”?
  12. I looked everywhere for an explanation as to why Nothing Fails didn’t get a music video, when the following single Love Profusion did. Was there ever any statement about it? I love Love Profusion, but I was always bummed that they just skipped over Nothing Fails like that. It captures so much of the warm side of American Life.
  13. Aside from her music and visuals, which was the first thing that sucked me into her world when I was 7/8 years old and immediately thought there was literally nothing like her, being born in Iraq and gay, I got to know her music even before I understood who and what I am or even knowing of how I felt was even a thing that everyone did. I didn’t have the vocabulary or any live example to describe or compare to, her representation or the lifestyle, of LGBT and even before I understood any of that. She was an example of a woman who defied social norms and boundaries and that spoke to me on so many levels and made me understand that it’s ok to be me, no matter what I was, no matter what label that I don’t know of applies to me and even if I was the only one, that it’s ok to be who I am. And as I gradually grew up and began to understand things and be exposed to many more artists old and new, somehow no one else could speak to me like her, and seeing her live amplified everything I felt for her, which was already huge to begin with. Her visual art, her music, her self expression, her way of turning live performances to an actual show, not just someone singing on a stage or looking pretty in a video, her political messages, her stances against all kinds of discrimination... she’s a complete package that is like no other.
  14. So many times haha, and she always appears as someone my family and I know and she’s sitting with us like a relative, or just me and her hanging out like I’m a manager of hers or a friend or something, and multiple times, she wasn’t exactly close as in “friends” but she came near me and we took selfies and I wake up looking for them on my phone and getting bummed that it’s a dream ???
  15. Die Another Day, Nothing Fails, Get Together, The Power of Goodbye, Nothing Really Matters, Frozen, Bad Girl, Deeper and Deeper, Girl Gone Wild, Like A Prayer, Justify My Love, Oh Father, Live to Tell, La Isla Bonita, Dress You Up and Ghosttown.
  16. I know right? Like not to mention the horrible editing, and if they choose the booklet shots for each single without editing, it would be a lot better than beginner-level crap we’ve been getting...
  17. Rebel Heart is probably the only Madonna album that would benefit the most from a re-release that includes the alternative versions of the tracks and the ones that didn’t make it, properly polished and produced. There’s so much material from that era that is just scattered and being streamed for free everywhere. I don’t see why they wouldn’t monetize that properly, not to mention even the tracks on the album sounded like they were produced at home with primitive equipment and could use some remastering.
  18. You make a lot of great points and she ranges from very low budget, cheap, badly managed done with half a heart products, whether it’s photoshoots, performances or outfits and sometimes becoming flat out cringeworthy. I know people change with time, but usually people strive to be better and her career from the first album till at least COADF and S&S and even MDNA Tour, she was such a perfectionist. After that, everything went downhill with terrible photoshoots and badly edited artworks, weird and random outfits, constant recreations of old look with a far lower budget and inspiration down to a flat out cringeworthy series of social media posts with the better half of Madame X tour being neither a big budget show or a hardcore fan focused theater tour, but rather a low budget “Madonna in your living room” type of low effort. I mean I adore her and I always will, but I put a hell of a lot more effort in my Instagram stories than she does in her own commercially released material and I’m practically nobody compared to her. Like if I had her wealth and popularity, I’d have the best fashion houses, designers, photographers and make up artists dress me every day and give me a new photoshoot every weekend ?
  19. Most favorites: X-Static Process exhibition, Die Another Day music video, American Life album, Interview Magazine 2010, Versace 1992, Confessions Tour photoshoot (equestrian), MDNA album, Agius photoshoot where she’s shown reading books and the photoshoot with her kids in bed and feeding the chickens and Confessions on a Dancefloor and Ray of Light’s entire album and singles photoshoots. Least favorite ones: Rebel Heart album (aside from the album cover with wires on her face, which is legendary) every other shoot felt like it’s some beginner low effort and low budget tribute to Madonna’s old looks. MDNA Tour poster was so random and completely unrelated to the aesthetic of the album or even the tour. Just a random shot with an inverted colors effect, and the blu-ray cover artworks was a disaster. You Can Dance and Who’s That Girl seemed kinda uninspired, like they’re leftovers from True Blue Hard Candy kickboxing was a great photoshoot in itself but the edit for the album completely ruined it. They should’ve just kept the kickboxing backgrounds. Madame X photoshoot ranged from outstanding for the Blond cover and the I Rise (dancing in the black gown) ones to flat out cringeworthy like the eye patch Cha Cha instructor thing. The problem is she has tons of great photoshoots but the way they edit them or decide not to use the good shots for single artworks is heartbreaking.
  20. She overplayed all those too many times, they don’t even feel special anymore... ugh
  21. Daft Punk and The Weeknd, or just a fully Daft Punk produced album. Either that or a full on ballads or an very experimental album.
  22. Weren’t the tickets sold over a month later or so? I’m not sure I remember to be honest. Eurovision was a hugely wasted opportunity both as a promotion in and of itself and how it neither was done at the launch of the album, tour tickets or a new single/music video. She performed 1 old song, a segment of a very experimental song and a rap feat... I mean if I wasn’t a die hard fan, I wouldn’t have bought tickets either ? and Billboard was a waste too. They said she spent $5m on it, and that money would’ve been a lot better added to the tour budget.
  23. Yes... which is quite unfortunate, because I’ve seen indie pop stars hopping from tiny label to label making short films for their albums and outstanding and very artistic cover artworks, music videos and merchandise, yet somehow the billionaire Madonna has single artworks with photoshop skills or a 6 year old on MS Paint ?
