I've disco-vered I really HATE CD's in any kind of book packaging.
    Or multi-disc fold out digi-packs.
CD's in slip covers in clamshell boxes are for actual play of the discs.

This I've played many times and it still looks M/M.

Pretty sure some songs were omitted from her compilations because of Something To Remember. Even if it’s a compilation is a particular one, with new songs and songs that never were released on a studio album. And it’s a concept compilation, so Warner still wants to sell it even if it’s an old one.

    'Look I Can Sing'
    was the original title

I'm pretty sure him dueting on Express Yourself is made up.  I don't recall him ever making such a claim. But feel free to dig up a legit source to prove otherwise, because that would have made for an interesting pairing. I would have loved to see that.

I'm a little shock this was said by him at the time, being Madonna hadn't yet become that huge in American yet, but then again Borderline and her debut album was really gaining a lot of attention by this point.

i can tell you the name of the first DJ to play her music in Glasgow

This sounds like a boring version of Just Can't Get Enough by Depeche Mode. I hope we'll hear the real version someday.

I was thinking on this for a long time.

In 1992 Sinéad O'Connor after singing a spirited re edition of Bob Marley's song War she just ripped off pope's John Paul II picture. Then, all hell broke loose. I remember as a kid a very distant echo of her act. She did this in order to protest about the fact that the catholic church knew and put a blanket on pedo rapists priests and their actions.

after this revolutionary act, Madonna was envious of this 'publicity' and decided to mock her protest openly my doing this:

which to me shows that all her revolutionary' talk was just that, words. She did everything to attract notoriety in the beggining of her career and then courted more fuel for controversy by releasing LAP in a well syncronised campaign by her company that led to the Pepsi fiasco. She gained millions. O' Conor was an original, a survivor. Madonna was just shalow and cheap.

    I had to say that.

Madge sided with the establishment view of the time.
It's not really something to hammer her about.

A good bunch of those are the same mix from different sources, as well as some unofficial/fanmade versions.

The instrumentals and TV Tracks are interesting though. To my knowledge, only the TV Track has ever leaked. Where did you get the others from? Are they multitrack mixdowns?
    Edit:
All the instrumentals in your folder are the same, except that one of them cuts off a little too early lol

Anyway, the bottom line is that there are only three MAIN versions (FOUR if we count the video remix) that were widely released. Everything else is either a local edit, a leak of a previously unreleased version, you name it.

    different DOOF
    mastering
    what 'others' ?
it's from here, there and the interweb
the jimmy michaels mixes i got from him
