    That's just The Problem. For Madonna there isn't one. Yes she's said she 'might' release older unreleased material in 'instalments' but so far has stuck to the don't look back approach ? COAD was a total DANCE option as American Life was thought by some to backfire ? You are Madonna NOT John Lennon ?? I saw two men from Cher's fan-club interviewed on TV once. They said it was them who persuaded her to TRY A DANCE RECORD ONCE...and just 'watch' ! "...her preferred style of harder rock she thought made her more 'credible' as An Artist but it wasn't what else her Fans actually listened too...", one said giggles barely contained. 'Beleive', then was released, "...and you know the rest !" SOMEONE like they two has to convince Madonna that re-issues won't affect sales of her New Product. The Rolling Stones now have an on-going re-issue series with it seems every week some new 'expanded' re-issue = GO BUY ! She's on an Elvis merry-go-round in some ways ?

    The bones are undeniable though ? Teardrop...they 'got' Liz Frasier of the Cocteau Twins instead. Some might call that an up-grade. They were at a point they didn't need Madonna & her on one of their LP's might have affected about how they were thought of. More 'Pop' & less Led Zep go hip-hop ? Now they are supposedly touring ! ms.Frasier as far as I can make out is to be some hologram type but not actually 'singing' live ?

      'Music Magpie' advertised over here on TV a year or two ago & might still do in some parts.

      I did.
      One CD came up as the Grand Total of '40p' and it didn't recognise [or 'want' !] most of the others I thought of jettisoning.
      One day a bit nearer..."Patrice Rushen....the Japanese CD is worth HOW MUCH !"
      I'd forgot about Discogs and one or two were better to be sold on there.
      I haven't yet.
      In almost EVERY £1 Shop across the UK you can find most of Madge's CD's for £1 !
      (Yes, no 'sale sticker' but it has a Music Magpie paper square info sheet inside.)
      Pot luck on condition but it should play at least play 'once'.
      Ray of Light is one [of many]/ ballads-collection-white cover/COAD etc but U rarely see the 1st album. :suffer:

    Tina Turner, Dionne Warwick and quite a few others if I have a think...Patti Labelle ! They all had 'long gaps' between hits and 'comeback' ones. Even if you HAVE been written off = with the right Management, Promotion and of course Song anyone can have a hit anytime even now. One good thing about the rise of the d-l and shit or no royalties any more guaranteed. Many acts have had to go back to touring. After the 00's all previous eras ['coz of streaming etc] are fair game. Was it Weezer who just re-made Toto's Africa ? all all these young folk have never heard of them = radio - wassat ? Dusty Springfield ! She should go back to non-digital forms of recording. Is that why her early stuff isn't so leaky in 'wave' ?

    Hi, I can't really believe that 'silliness' in Mage101 scores that much ? Smash Hits magazine in the UK was very silly but it could make some tunes flop more than any glowing review in say the NME. It's review of 'Hanky Panky' was more or less = "Madonna rhymes Hanky with Panky & Spanky = Hello this woman is 35 ?" Don't Stop sort of reminds me Ain't No Big Deal, it's kinda faux soul but is much better. There's 3 different produced demos of that ? It sounds like a few songs stuck together to me ! xx

    I was meaning like Ray Of Light, Erotica....that kinda thing. It was 'nice', I liked the Haddaway mashup ! I heard a letter being read out on Points Of View, British viewers will know it ont' BBC. He complained that....as he had the radio on at work, he counted that 'Dear Jessie' played on BBC Radio 1 18 times....did have no Other Records ? I thought that only got released 'coz Prince = He say no, it will 'help' the album sales ??

    Living For Love sounds like a 2nd or 3rd 'single release' from when the media hung on her every word. The only mix of the follow-up I liked was the Paul Andrews Reconstruction Mix, was that 'official' ? It's not her best, that's why it didn't do so well.
