Amazing Topic - Amazing explanation -
I don't want to be rude - But it´s not "ColUmbia" - It´s "COLOMBIA" -
For me the crowd it's an important part in a DVD filming finished product - But If the Show is well filmed it doesn't matter so much at last, like on the Confessions Tour DVD, the crowd was dead (?) But the concert was filmed and treated with respect.
I know that Madonna likes to put her hands on everything, but in all the editions that she worked on, we got really bad results, like the MDNA Tour DVD or the Rebel Heart Tour DVD.
One thing that I hate the most in the MDNA Tour DVD is the Packaging, withe the same image repeated on every face of the container cage, so boring, so selfish, there was this big concert with so much important moments and iconic photographic moments, and it was unused, kinda sad.
I remember being in the golden triangle at Buenos Aires and I see the DVD final product, and it doesn´t makes any justice. -
Hi! Saddly I couldn't afford to travel and get a ticket for the Rebel Heart Tour, The itinerary skipped my city (Buenos Aires) So I couldn't see it live.
My opinion is based in what I saw on the DVD / BluRay / YouTube / Friends Experiences at the shows around the world.From my perspective, it was a concert made for Madonna by Madonna to please Madonna herself.
The songs choices wasn't bad, it was great, but the songs were palced in the wrong places, like Bitch I'm Madonna, that could had worked better as a closer like party and not with that asian style...
The concert scale was adjusted to the sales, and it wasn't sold out as other tours, so the Show was adjusted to smaller venues... In my opinion, she kinda upset the general audience, not her hard core fans, she is starting late every concert since 2008, there was so much "Darkness" and "Violence" in certain performances, and of course the high prices didn't help either.
There are parts that ar remarkable, alone, but there are some parts that feels flat, repeated, not fresh, not provocative, using the same sources and themes once again, religion, sex, cabaret, 20's.
It's an amazing concert, nobody can do better than her, but with this concert I felt that something was missing.
Other thing that is a mistake is the usage of cheap interludes. most of all Messiah and SEX, just cheap- All the efforts to make the incredible Introduction for Iconic, and not a chance to make something new for those interludes.
Everybody is mentioning it, The Band. We need real sound, guitars, base, percussion, winds, vilinists, drumms... That was something that she brought back at the MDNA Tour with the Kalakan Trio and their instruments, it felt fresh.
And one thing I cannot forgive is the edition of the DVD - So much edition - Adding things that didn't happened live, like sounds, like if it was a videoclip, so silly, unwatchable.

Also just keep on dreaming - I imagine that there will be a "One night only" show. Like Tears Of A Clown - But with most of the songs that are not singles, and are constantly forgotten on her Tours.
I don't like to compare artists, but it would be something like Kylie Minogue's "Antitour" -

Hi! - Everyone has a different point of view, and that great.
I think It was really smart from her, to focus only on her last records (ROL and Music) -
But in a parallel Universe I would had loved to see a concert focused on her entire catalogue - Like a "GHV2" Inspired Tour and celebrate her 20 years in this industry -

Hi! I'm From Buenos Aires (Argentina) - I was at her 4 concerts in River Plate Stadium in 2008 (S&ST) At the very end, when she asked a "Very Lucky Fan" to choose a song, so she would sing it acapela with the audience, I remember seeing the same guy, with the same clothes, yes the 4 concerts, an one night, she said: "You Thomas.... Wait! How do I Know your name?" / It was fun - he choose "Like A Virgin" every night - I suppose that they were focused to have everything in the right place for the DVD filming.
And then in 2012 with the MDNAT - She was performing "Love Spent", and the moment when she starts to ask for money, IN ARGENTINA people started to throw Argentinean Pesos, which had old politicians on it, and the bills are brown coloured, and she said : "WHAT IS THIS SHIT, BROWN? I WANT GREEN, GREEN BILLS MAKE A GIRL HAPPY" - and everybody arround the stage laugh, it was really fun.
After that - She skipped "Like A Virgin" and replaced it by "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" in a same way, slow with the piano, like a waltz....
After that she was singing "Love Spent" and when Marvin Goffin, the dancer that comes on stage and ties up her corset, he starts to tie it up very hard, and she screamed so loud, it was very scary.
