  1. Another positive review: https://ekm.co/blondish-darmon-eran-hersh-madonna-sorry/ The new Blond:ish, Darmon & Eran Hersh song titled Sorry is an atmospheric Tech House music banger that teleports the 2005 classic by Madonna to 2023 while adding some modern edge to it. With its warm and fuzzy synth basslines, dense sound-design and samples pitched and submerged in the grooves of the track, Sorry will surely gain the attention of those who seek nostalgic tunes that make you move. The way Sorry is woven together makes it feel like an attempt to mix different decades in Pop and Electronic music to create a completely atemporal work. For example, the bass on the new Blond:ish, Darmon & Eran Hersh song sounds like it’s coming from an 80s Electropop record, the treatment of the vocals may resonate with those who are familiar with Vaporwave, while the surrounding atmospheres and pads clearly move the vibe towards the Dream Pop of the early 2000s. The production of the Blond:ish x Darmon x Eran Hersh 2023 rendition of Sorry by Madonna sounds almost as meticulous as the original. The artists involved pay attention not only to the delicate structural and arrangement decisions, but also focus on making all of those sounds work together and come out of the preferred electroacoustic transducers with clarity and brightness worthy of the level of a 2023 Tech House banger. This clarity, paradoxically, has the opposite effect on the listener: while each element of the track separately sounds in focus in isolation, the dynamics and the resulting groove of the track work like a serpent, wrapping around the timeless foundation of the track and hypnotizing the listener.
  2. There is a longer version on beatport that sounds more complete (no extra vocals though) https://www.beatport.com/track/sorry-with-madonna-feat-darmon/17323250
  3. Actually, Eran Hersh seems more active than Blondish in promoting the track… Also, Eran Hersh is followed by Spotify for Artists… hence the good playlist placement I guess.
  4. At least she gets some positive coverage: https://edm.com/music-releases/madonna-blondish-eran-hersh-darmon-sorry The Queen of Pop is dipping her toes in the waters of electronic music. After releasing her 2022 capstone compilation with remixes from Avicii, Above & Beyond, Benny Benassi and more, Madonna has now teamed up with a trio of dance music producers to rework her 2006 single "Sorry." Out on Insomniac Records, the new track was produced in collaboration with BLOND:ISH, Eran Hersh and Darmon. The "Sorry'" rework puts a modern house music twist on the noughties song, which appeared on Madonna's 10th studio album, Confessions on a Dance Floor. Keeping its disco influences intact, the new single features a chugging beat and dreamlike basslines, resulting in a groovy record with a slightly sinister flourish. If anything, the new tune demonstrates Madonna's uncanny ability to adapt to new styles and push the boundaries of her own music and creativity. It's tough not to love seeing the Queen of Pop teaming up with electronic artists and reorienting her iconic sound for the underground—a surreal phenomenon for Hersh. "If you told me when I was a kid that this was going to happen, I’d probably laugh and think you’re crazy but It’s happening," he said in an Instagram post.
  5. Wasn’t on mine either… but I got an advert for it. The short version has better chances at getting playlisted on streaming platforms, but where is the long (original) version that is available on beatport? Why not release both?

  7. I have no idea. Just found that on YouTube. Don’t even know who posted it. But if this is actually part of the remix. This is gonna be fun.
  8. In their soundcloud bio, Blow-Up claim to have remixed Sorry, but nobody ever heard it... 🤔
  9. Always loved this mix. There are different assumptions about it. Some people say it’s an alternate PSB mix (which I doubt). Others say it was made by the guys from Blow Up, who had previously remixed Love Profusion (official) and Hollywood (unreleased). Maybe someone has another theory... But we might never know the truth... 🤷🏻‍♂️
  10. Kamille Louis' Dj set for the official After Show of Madame X tour in Paris. Contains several unreleased remixes of Madonna ;-)
  11. I just hope that M won’t ridiculously claim that she is being censored... ?
