  1. @thegoldencalfyou guys got it from Amazon US? In the UK the records come in rigid cardboard vinyl folder and then inside a big flat box with brown crunched paper padding inside. I always think it's a waste
  2. It gives you the PA Version of the whole album to download
  3. Amazon pack their records incredibly well thou. Maybe too well, lots of paper, wrapping and boxing
  4. someone with some sound system that can listen to Madonna's gums rubbing when she speaks, might say there's a a missing beat or a decibel dropping in minute 1.34 with a second of a hissing that ruins the whole radio edit. But in my decent turntable sounds good enough.
  5. I gave it a keep spin check and sounds good. Her voice sounds much better, crispier. The record is solid too, not too thin
  6. Yeah she did and Donna took a break after having a child too. But it has to be always drugs, abuse, some crap
  7. She had a car accident at the time and she said she was getting too tired for stadiums. One of the statements in her website was that she was not invited to take part. But that was taken down and replace for something about playing in jazz clubs and the car accident. Madonna forums were gossiping about having a coke addiction or/and clashing with Madonna Kabbalah. I don't think they personally have the best relationship apart from work and at some point they change paths.
  8. It sounds on the direction on what she has been doing. But I think there's a clash of targeted audience and fan catering. While all of this mash mixes and flashy videos appeal to the Tiktoknna crowd , as you well know , they are not popular with the older following. And I don't see the younger audience ready to buy the pricey tickets for such a show. The old school fans won't be into it either. I think Madame X tour burnt few bridges and patience. There's no pandemic, the injury is getting better, she is ready to tour, people would be waiting for something more substantial , like a GH. I think.
  9. At the piano she will be joined by Gaga and Elton John during few songs and Bjork at the tambourine for ' Don't Stop'. First encore will be ' Jimmy Jimmy'
  10. Warning signs, Candy Shop, Human Nature...missing Frozen mix to be the total trolling fantasy
  11. With the queen funeral and Royal Mail strikes, plus the already delays since Brexit changes, shipping anything form the UK it's pretty hellish on the last months.
  12. Also if you want to know the inspiration for La Isla bonita costume and dance comes from: https://youtu.be/2msq6H2HI-Y The whole show is an homage to cinema, musicals, circus and weimar cabaret (King & I, My fair Lady, Les Enfants du paris, Cabaret,Morocco, the Damned , Saturday Night fever....)
  13. I disagree I think I'm going bananas was perfect because of the cabaret side of it. The original song is a take on Carmen Miranda and Hollywood showing Latin culture with loud, buffoon like, exaggerated characters. It goes well during that part with 'bye Bye Baby' (being the chauvinist Big guys) 'Like a Virgin' as Marlene Dietrich and the introduction to the latin part of the show.
  14. Also 'having a car' it's such an american state of mind. The rest of the world don't get a driver license at 16, they just get drunk instead.
  15. You can overlap this and Vogue single version and they are the same beats at the same time, the snare, the claps , I even played the vocals from the stems and works.
  16. The type of audience that would come to this would expect her to sing Like a Prayer, Holiday and Ray of light, she did that already few years ago for Live 8.
  17. I was 16. Just started to go out. I bought the vinyl and I was in love with the typography and the design. I couldn't afford to get the Sex book thou. I bought it 5 years later when I moved to London. I never realized or care about the negative press she received from it. I always thought she was dragged around for one reason or another and being a non conformist suit me well and made me feel identified. I bought a couple of Spanish magazine that came with an extra 'Sex Book sample with about 10 photos. I made a school project with it ( we had to choose a famous personality) Was a massive portfolio with Madonna's tits in the cover I copied the silver/gold writing. I reused the work to postered my bedroom walls with them. My Mum thought she was funny and so powerful for not giving a toss about the media and embrace her body and sexuality. She loved Justify my Love's video. I used to dance in clubs during the weekend, and I used to vogue so when Deeper and Deeper came out I was thrilled. The Girlie Show made me love the moment even more. The whole concept behind it. Dancers being androgynous, the weimar cabaret, the burlesque. I thought she look so beautiful and fragile with the short hair, but so powerful and full of energy. It was a period of transition and learning in my life and it was the right soundtrack for it. When Bedtime stories came after I actually felt underwhelm. I was worried that she was doing again soft spoken vocals and after seeing " Truth or Dare" fearing she was losing her voice. The day of today still a favorite and a album that I listen back to forth.
  18. Also because everyone thought this was " Danceteria" by Lisa Powerhouse and were expecting some demo EP or such
  19. She can be redoing In Bed with Madonna. A massive bed with all the dancers and routines there.
  20. I went to an event where you go to a cinema blindfolded and played you albums from beginning to the end in the most incredible sound system. I listened to Post and I love the album and know it so well. it's insane how much you get from it when there's nothing else by darkness.
  21. I think is the ritual, like smokers ( I don't smoke) the idea of doing some physical and pay attention to what you are playing. In the same way I love making my own playlist with my music (digitally) I enjoy sitting down and pick the right record I want to play and enjoy it.
  22. But the most part of them are really rough demos,we enjoyed them because we know. But as a bonus for anyone else are really loud bad demos
  23. I don't stream. I cant never find the music I like and I have a music library of 1.38TB. I don't see the point of paying for stream. I own vinyls and I buy digital.
