The Body Of Evidence plot is just as ridiculous as Flashdance's and Footloose's : fucking a guy to death ? And when the movies are somehow good they are boring : Dick Tracy and Evita, she's the best thing in both. Then there's the big error she kept repeating : NEVER MAKE A MOVIE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY : Shangai Surprise, Who's That Girl (which i like), The Next Best Thing, Swept Away. She's best as a supporting actress in an ensemble cast. She's best when she's directed by women. At least her character does not end up being murdered. She dies in half of her movies. She's bigger than any role one can create, she's a larger than life character herself.

The box set got embroiled in the Maverick battle with Warner (2003/2004). I guess Madonna pulled the plug herself and gave R&R instead. She probably did not release it later as it was totally Caresse's project and they parted ways in late 2004.

There are various new releases by the Weeknd from The Idol on Spotify, Popular is completly drowned out, it's no longer promoted first. Listening to the score instrumental by Mike Dean from the OST and his work on Christine & The Queens album, i was wondering, except "Queen", Madonna and Dean never wrote a track together from scratches. He always was a producer, or more accurately, a remixer of songs that already existed (even though he got credits). Even great actors like Eli Roth (is he playing Guy Oseary ?), Jane Adams or Hank Azaria (faking an accent again) are absolutely bad. Troye Sivan is sometimes good, sometimes bad, i guess it's because of the direction, he was so good in Three Months. They all seem clueless about what they are doing. And since it's 2023, of course it's an inclusive cast, which is great but so redundant now, like a Benetton ad in the 80's, it seems more forced and gimmicky than really inclusive.

I watched the first episode of The Idol, it's terrible. I feel bad for Lily Rose Depp, she does her best but the cast is bad, the lines fall flat and the worst of them all is Abel, he's not as mysterious, dangerous and sexy as he thinks he is and you can clearly see his intentions more than him incarnating them. It's full of cliches and kind of pointless. Sometimes it's even ridiculous like most scenes with Abel. I love Euphoria but this is very bad.

i like the lyrics, it's really about supporting Sam Smith and through them, people who recognize themself in him, it's like people call them vulgar and other names and to fight against them and feel empowered they pretend they are Madonna and turns out, she really is on their side and will split your banana if you attack them (I think this should have been the lyrics to Bitch I'm Madonna to make it better).
