  1. They're referring to the impersonator as "they". Really bizarre that the daily mail would respect anyone's chosen pronouns, since their whole thing is being an angry gammon.
  2. So you had Sky1, Epix and Showtime?
  3. My sources tell me Rusty Egan is set to remix the first single, which is going to be a power ballad. Also, her hair is long and black à la 1960s Cher in the video.
  4. Guess she shouldn't have kicked so hard. 2001 is a weird time for her to be doing backing vocals for Madonna. DWT?
  5. I really hope any new project will be a continuation of Madame X. If I wanted to listen to songs about dancing, I'd just listen to Kylie.
  6. I'm finding it more and more difficult remaining a fan and interacting with other fans. Madonna is an inspiring figure to so many because of the way she always rebelled against the patriarchy and by doing so supported rights for the oppressed. But she is also callous (I can cite many examples, but the most obvious one is how the dancers were outed in Truth or Dare). Because so much misogyny and hate was hurled at her over the decades she developed a very thick skin and has this knee jerk reaction to reject all criticism. A lot of fans love that about her and they emulate that attitude. I feel as if two very strong cultural currents are clashing in the Madonna fandom right now. The old school is about "her heart is in the right place, so she can say anything, stop being so oversensitive" while other fans consider that she shouldn't be impervious to the criticism that's been building up related to 'cancel culture' which for me amounts to "be careful, because what you say or do can hurt others". I feel like by being provocative and rejecting criticism for so long, she's gathered many fans who do the same. And so we have these constant tiresome clashes between "she shouldn't do that"/"it doesn't matter if she did that, she's Madonna". That's it, no big conclusion, I'm just tired of the conflict and since I'm team "she shouldn't do that", I'm also really tired of the defensiveness and aggression of the others, who feel like their way of life is being threatened just because people want to hold Madonna to the same standards that are applied to everyone. P.S. YES, some people who attack Madonna for these mistakes hate her for other reasons and just enjoy that they can belittle her for anything. But that can't mean that she's untouchable to reasonable criticism just because a lot of shitty people hate her and they'll jump in every time a reasonable discussion shows what she could do differently.
  7. In the original context of the story, it might look like a joke. Without the context it looks much worse. She absolutely did not do it first.
  8. You literally have 5 posts. Have you paid attention to the people who only post negative stuff? Have you read their posts again and again, enough to remember their names? No? We have.
  9. Yep, when it doubt, always blame the woman.
  10. No. This is one opinion you only need to share with your friends, not strangers on the internet who don't know you and might conclude you're an asshole.
  11. Don’t forget Sonja Morgan and John John.
  12. Where did she get it from though? Adi Lederman, the hacker that plagued Madonna's career for a decade resulting in the Rebel Heart disaster? Also, yeah, she sound real fun.
  13. It would have been lovely if it had been a single with no leak. But we can thank Lederman and the fans (who claimed it was horrible) for ruining that.
  14. That might have something to do with the... lies they print daily? Lies about celebrities, lies about politics, lies about anything that sells papers. Maybe it's that.
  15. That would be amazing, but I think we're past that point.
  16. It's obviously about the upcoming Warning Signs leak!
  17. Black is good for the environment. "Bright, dynamic" is basically plastic straws.
  18. Mexico uses the NTSC system (like the US). Europe uses PAL. There's a running time difference, PAL runs faster. You'd see a similar difference for any two DVDs when you compare NTSC to PAL.
  19. Please read the article I posted and try to understand it.
  20. Didn't know this forum had a big Lloyd Webber following, no.
  21. https://www.broadway.com/buzz/155950/ready-for-your-close-up-madonna-andrew-lloyd-webber-wants-the-pop-queen-to-star-in-sunset-boulevard/ But why would Madonna not want to do it? https://screen-queens.com/2020/06/04/sunset-boulevard-and-the-ageing-woman-sexism-and-ageism-in-hollywood/ Also, we're in the 21st century, so the tragic aging woman trope is just as insulting as the bury your gays one.
