For Madonna, maybe he meant Animal Instinct, Across the Sky or Latte, but still nothing released on his own albums, despite them being full of collaborations.

There was this 2-3 hour special on MTV in '96 or '97 where they showed all her videos with extra info and said the I'll Remember video was criticized for its similarity (but major inferiority) to Rain.

Everyone said "We already saw Rain and it was a great video unlike this one".

No, but I'll never forgive Timbaland for not releasing his Madonna AND Björk songs on his albums.

Never meet your idols... Madonna the businesswoman has a lot of reagan republican/randian crap attitudes she won't let go. But it's sorta easy to compartmentalize in the bigger scheme of things, since nothing actually got stuck up anyplace, especially not in any minors' places. My only cringe Madonna moment is when she didn't support M.I.A. for flipping America the bird at the Superbowl. America deserved it, it still does.

@Mateusz KlimeckiReally interesting analysis, but I do disagree on one point. Madame X IS a visionary album imo (it innovated in terms of vocals, lyrics and the video side as well).

Nobody could've seen "kids in cages" coming though...

They're definitely not perfect, but can you open your eyes and see where the world is heading? It's not going against environmental protection and immigration. You may think that the democrat administrations take only tiny steps in the right direction, but the republicans are obsessed with taking huge leaps backwards.

We all know about Alone Again, that Kylie ended up recording, Like a Flower (Laura Pausini) and even Revenge (Sophie Ellis-Bextor). Does anyone know of any other songs that Madonna passed on that ended up recorded by other artists?
