  1. You're joking, right? Unpopular because of Harry? How about centuries of abuse, unearned privilege, racism and exploitation?
  2. I feel like there might be light at the end of the tunnel. There's been some ground breaking research into using psychedelics (in conjunction with counselling) to cure addictions (as well as PTSD and depression) with some tremendous results. It's early days but it's very promising so here's hoping. Michael Pollan's book "How To Change Your Mind - What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression, and Transcendence" talks about it in detail.
  3. No, Japan just got the general release a week early for some reason, and with Has To Be as a bonus (on the CD at least)!
  4. You clearly have no clue about addiction, how it works and how it impacts people close to the person afflicted. And I'm happy that you don't. But don't make snap judgements based on your ignorance.
  5. We got Bad Girl/Fever digitally last year. Burning Up was a double A-side with Physical Attraction so it would make sense to have both included.
  6. There isn't a version of Deeper and Deeper that could possibly be considered too long!
  7. I think the drums are different (snare especially) and there's no conga intro on the Immaculate version.
  8. I think we're also missing the Remix Edit of Borderline from a digital source?
  9. 10. It's one of my absolute favourite interviews with her.
  11. Both things can be true - that there are plenty of seats left in the arena and that the show is sold out, all depends on the amount of tickets that were put up for sale in the first place. Say the arena is 40,000 capacity but the promoter doesn't believe they will sell as many seats for that particular show so they put only 30,000 on sale and the 30,000 sells indeed - technically it's a sell out show in that case.
  12. OK, so this is a bit random but I've been wondering about it for some time. Were there any dates on the tour where Luca Tomassini made it to the stage on time for "Everybody"? It doesn't seem to me to be a scripted moment (like the stage "invasion" during "Deeper and Deeper"), and she often seems genuinely annoyed with him ("I'm tired of waiting for you Luca!" in Fukuoka)?
  13. To my ears it sounds better than the digital version but I still prefer the original.
  14. Where did this idea that Gambler wasn't Warner's to begin with come from though? Warner is credited on all original 1985 labels. Only the B-side, not performed by M, is credited to Geffen, as is the case with Crazy For You releases. Unless I'm missing something?
  15. I know there's no CD but I wonder whether the comic book is included in this re-print.
  16. According to Rough Trade there are only 2,000 copies of this? https://www.roughtrade.com/gb/product/madonna/danceteria
