  1. THIS. I've been concerned for the last decade.
  2. Oh, it absolutely is a 'signature' Madonna song at this point, regardless of not being a commercial hit like the others (and that didn't matter anyway, as that video was EVERYWHERE during the context of it's time). As for "overdone", that's subjective, and quite irrelevant anyways. In the end, she's going to chose whatever tells the story she wants to tell. Whether we like it or not.
  3. Because it's not about whether or not it was a hit. Human Nature is literally her manifesto at this point, even more so as she has aged in the public spotlight. it's lyrically more relevant now than it was then.
  4. Some of you must be new to blind items. That site posted above, Crazydaysandnights, is probably the most well known blind item site, and they are NOTORIOUS for just making shit up based on gossip already discussed on message boards and social media. Like any sort of 'predictions', they can be right on a rare occasion, but much of that can also be figured out from just paying attention to what's going on in news and culture. It's not something that gives them any sort of great credibility, or proof that they have any real scoop. They've been consistently wrong and debunked far more times then they've ever been right. In fact, over the years, their blind items have gotten more bizarre, with many going into straight up Q-Anon/MAGA territory. The owner of that site clearly has a political bias as well, not to mention the usual people in the comments (you would think you were at Fox News or Brietbart). This blind just follows in a long line of all their 'possible' Madonna-related blinds for the past near decade which all paint M as an alcoholic and drug addict with no control over her life or career anymore. They conveniently prop up other pop stars though. Surprise, surprise. And a lot of these blinds are plants from rival PR/management companies that use the site to create media "narratives" (Deuxmoi on Instagram does the same). Take anything and everything they say with a MASSIVE grain of salt.
  5. I believe both of them have said in previous interviews that they were tired of touring, and wanted to focus on different priorites, particularly family/kids (well, Donna).
  6. So you never liked Vogue from the MTV VMAs 1990, or Justify My Love from The Girlie Show?
  7. THIS. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. Give or take a few flaws here or there, I enjoy all the tour films. ps. I also enjoy the more stylized concert film that feels more cinematic. M is not the only to go in that direction, either. It's becoming more prevalent in contemporary concert films. As for old-school, straight-forward broadcast style recordings, that's pretty much passé now...and it's just not going to happen.
  8. I wasn't so sure about it when the promo art came out...but on the merchandise I'm actually really loving it. The 3 shirts look great.
  9. Since Blond Ambition is the obvious answer (and is basically perfection), I went with the other obvious choice - Drowned World Tour. That version is so goddamn FUNKY. The absolute PERFECT reinvention, and with the Stardust sample to boot. And to top it off, the fact that it's staged so simply - just M, Donna and Niki. The magic that those three are is on perfect display here. And it's a testament that contrary to what so many seem to think, Madonna doesn't actually need all the production. Performances like this prove the woman is a goddamn superstar. For single performance, I chose Live Aid, because again, how simple it really is...and it's M at her earliest rise to superstar status. The proof why she became the greatest female artist of all time.
  10. THIS. As happy as I was to see this tour sell out like gangbusters, I've always felt they really need to schedule more rest days between shows (even on earlier tours too). I get that they have to plan out the route to be the most efficient and cost effective, but given all factors even before this incident, more full rest days are needed between shows now, and absolutely if there are more than 2 per given city. I've also felt that there should at least a months rest between major legs of the tour too. I know she likes to get them done and out the way, but I've seen other artists take a good amount of time between legs, and they don't even work half as hard as she does on stage. Spread out the scheduling. Then again, I'm sure there are so many factors at play, and I've heard scheduling for venues is insane right now because all artists are trying to make up for the last few years, so everything is booked tight right now.
  11. If you look at the stage design for this tour, it's clear that a roof is needed for proper rigging, at this production goes out into nearly the entire arena. This show was designed specifically as an arena tour, so putting it in stadiums is probably not an option based on that alone. Even if they did, they would have to create custom proscenium housing for the stage to include all the specialized rigging elements.
  12. I'm still reeling. Utterly gutted. Moments like these remind you how fragile it all is - even our impenetrable, god-like stars. And she's the last true one left. I can't even put into words what this woman means to me. Tour or no tour. Who cares. She's done it all. The best of the best. It's DONE. The rest from here on out is nothing more than icing on the cake. I can't ask for any thing more... Other than I just want her well and healthy, for her family, her babies, and us, for as long as possible. Long live the one true Queen.
  13. Her last 3 album covers have all been fantastic. I love them all...especially the MDNA deluxe. Thank you! Someone gets it. And I love the Madame X deluxe/digital cover, as it is reminiscent of the Les Mis musical cover. Feels very fitting for the material and her state of mind, and the world, then.
  14. Oh really? In what way exactly? (Sorry, just curious).
  15. Oh really? I'm surprised. I figured he be on this one. Do you remember where that was mentioned?
  16. My bet is he's still in the band. Other than Kevin, we haven't seen any of the band yet anyways, so who knows if it's all new, half new-half old, or all her established musicians. My guess is it's still mostly her core band that's been with her for the past couple decades.
  17. Yes. For studio versions that have leaked, it's been a combination of both new vocals and past album vocals. Usually when it gets to the 'final' versions of the studio track, it uses newer vocals. But for the most part, all songs for a show have some level of pre-sequenced vocals made and ready for use, either for rehearsal purposes and/or live during the show (playback).
  18. I think this is a very interesting thing to point out, and I rarely see it being talked about enough. It's always beating the dead horse about all the usual things...but, just a possibility, what if it's just part of aging, particularly for a woman...and even more so, personal health issues that are her private business (and that we may never know about). It's so easy to judge because we're all on the outside looking in, but knowing plenty of folks in my own life whose appearance has changed as often come down to various health issues (that were ultimately out of their control) that they eventually disclosed in confidence. It was was so easy to judge or "be concerned" when I didn't know the whole story. There's just so many different things that can affect someone's overall appearance and body shape, even if they've had 'work' done. Anyway, just something to consider. And I've had a parent recently have a hip replacement (like M's) and it's taken a LONG time to recover. It's been hard as hell on them. Let alone the pain they were experiencing for years on end leading up to it. And as someone who deals with several health issues, including pain management, it can be hell on earth. I wish there was far more empathy on that issue. Yep. Me too.
