  1. I'm losing my mind... Am I blind? The male Madonna is like a gay Sean Penn.
  2. Remember the news: "Madonna tests positive for coronavirus antibodies."
  3. Express Yourself (Live at the MTV Awards 1989) 10/10 Perfect. Express Yourself (Blond Ambition Tour) 10/10 Flawless Express Yourself (The Girlie Show) 10/10 Impeccable Express Yourself (Re-Invention Tour) 6/10 I love the remix but the military thing was boring. Express Yourself (MDNA) 8/10 I love the remix, I love the "born this way" mash-up, but I didn't like to much the cheerleader routine.
  4. I would love an album with good spanish pop songs (not flamenco neither typical spanish songs), properly transtated to english, transformed in classic Madonna's dance music (something similar to "Fever").
  5. I love Express Yourself and I like BTW very much. And I love every mashup
  6. I always forget that I'm a fan who play her singles and remixes to enjoy her music. When an era is finished, I replace the original album with other changing the album versions with singles versions and remixes (if they are better than the album version). Her singles & remixes made me fan, not her albums.
  7. What? Ok, maybe it doesn't fit in the regular album, but it fits perfectly in the "Like A Prayer" era if you include the "Like A Prayer" singles. Express Yourself (House Remix) and Vogue are almost twin sisters... It was written to be B-Side of "Keep It Together". Express Yourself (House Remix), Keep It Together (single remix), Vogue and Rescue Me have the same "sound". Like or not, Vogue doesn't belong to I'm Breathless and the song doesn't fit in that album. It's just a commercial move to sell more "I'm Breathless" albums thanks to Vogue.
  8. Vogue is from the "Like A Prayer" era, written to be B-Side of "Keep It Together". Warner put the song on the "I'm Breathless" album to sold more but the song doesn't belong to "I'm Breathless". I've always waiting for a "Like A Prayer" remaster including "Vogue" as last track.
  9. I'm Breathless is a fantastic album, but Evita is something incredible. I knew the opera rock before Madonna, so this opera rock singing by Madonna it's for me like a dream come true.
  10. Well, an era is a commonly used word for a long period of time
  11. No, because she continued working in the Like a Prayer songs for the Blond Ambition Tour (and Vogue is originally a B-Side from Keep It Together). So the life of the "Like A Prayer" album lasted until the end of the Blond Ambition Tour (Radio, Television, etc). In my opinion, the "Like A Prayer" era died when she released "Justify My Love" (and the Erotica pre-era started).
  12. An era the promotion of the album? For me an era it's the whole life of the released album. For example, Like A Prayer: Since the first single was released as a promo (1989) until the "Truth or Dare" movie premiere (1991) (includes singles, remixes, video-clips, Vogue, Blond Ambition Tour, Truth or Dare....) because the album was alive on radio stations, tv stations, everywhere...
  13. I must have a different concept of "era" because I can't remember a worst era than this. Eurovision, remixes months after the original single release, she cancelled tour dates... I'm not talking about the album or video-clips, obviously.
  14. It's not a cuestion to be agree or not. They are official videos from Warner to promote singles, albums or tours. I don't have any of them, I don't like them, but they are official. Even the "Girl Gone Wild" lyric video is official. PS: In that post they are not talking about "OFFICIAL" videos. They are talking about "If It Had a Music Video" filmed by Madonna (Rescue Me, Spotlight, etc, etc, etc)
  15. Exactly. All of them are official videos.
  16. It's an official promotional video like Material Girl or Express Youself or any other video. Since when a promotional video from Warner is not official?
  17. The items are overpriced but the records they send me were in perfect conditions.
  18. Girl Gone Wild, but almost tie with Who's That Girl and Material Girl (and the Above & Beyond remix of "What it feels like for a Girl").
  19. I will always say this: Rescue Me is a masterpiece. This song is one of her best singles, underrated and painfully forgotten. I love Spotlight but is not perfect.
  20. That's the problem. For example, I never play the album "Like A Prayer" as a whole but I always play the singles: Like A Prayer (7'' Version), Express Yourself (Remix Edit), Cherish (7'' Version), Oh Father (Single Version), Dear Jessie (fade), Keep It Together (Single Remix) and the B-Sides (Till Death Do Us Part, Pray For Spanish Eyes, Supernatural, Vogue). Same behavior with True Blue, Erotica and Ray Of Light. Instead I always play the full albums of Confessions and MDNA and never the singles. What should be my answer then? Because I love more the "Like A Prayer" era than "Confessions" era but I never play the "Like A Prayer" album (same with True Blue, Erotica and Ray Of Light and I love those eras more).
  21. Yes, to destroy my nerves. I love the lyrics, I hate the music. It's like fingernails scratching a chalkboard. Anyway I'm talking about the album version. I like the remixes.
