I mean, Human Nature AGAIN (will someone tell her this wasn't even a hit)?

Also, Human Nature is the 3rd song of the show again, followed by Vogue like on S&ST. Like A Prayer is the penultimate song like on MDNAT. These are the things the likes of Janet Jackson have been long criticized b Madonna fans alongside album versions and backing tapes...

What I didn't like were arrangements on 80% of the songs. Everything sounds pre-recorded, what's the point in having a band? And I did seen an interview with a musical director of the show who showed that it was actualy played over the multitracks and stems...

Unfortunately it's been a long time since her shows have been about the actual music. And these days she is barely singing live, almost all songs have backing tapes, she is doing now what Janet has been doing forever and Madonna fans had a field day in bashing her...

Bedtime Stories: Don't Stop, Love Tried To Welcome Me and Your Honesty

Come on now, it's one of her all-time worst.

Gang Bang would have been a horrible single choice, the cheap production, the drag queen vocals and the nursery rhyme lyrics have no commercial value whatsoever, it would have been trashed by the media more than the other singles of the album.

  4. The First Album: Borderline

Like A Virgin: Over And Over

    True Blue: Live To Tell

    Like A Prayer: Cherish

    I'm Breathless: Vogue

    Erotica: Rain

    Bedtime Stories: Take A Bow

Ray Of Light: The Power Of Good-Bye

    Music: Impressive Instant

    American Life: Nothing Fails

Confessions On A Dance Floor: Push

Hard Candy: Devil Wouldn't Recognize You

    MDNA: Falling Free

    Rebel Heart: Inside Out

  5. what a nightmare. Its so sad. I thought she said "I'll stop when you motherfucking kill me". Vegas is where star go to die....

Maybe shes now all about her new Twins, which is a great thing, but why now? Rocco, Lola, David Mercy, also joined her on the road. I wonder if shes planning to keep her fame hidden from the twins, as she said in some interview, that they dont know about her fame yet.

She did not mention Vegas at all. I think it would be NYC, London or even Paris, knowing that those cities have had the most tour dates by her in the past.

I don't see why is it a shock to some, this was meant to happen sooner or later, her new music is not part of the mainstream anymore so it was a matter of time when the tours followed, not to mention there were already signs on her post-S&ST performances that she cannot keep on with these kinda shows forever.

  6. Can't immediately think of a Prince song with a similar structure (his songwriting was miles away from Madonna's conventional verse-chorus style) but I'm pretty sure he did more for the album that we know of.

The music Express Yourself was likely to be inspired by his style at the time, the Local Mix has some similar bits to Alphabet St. I think,

  7. what i dont understand is how LDLHA has been cut(presumably because of copyright - yet she had no problem including i feel love on the CT ??) and yet she includes the full performance of la vie en rose ??? How fucked up is that

I'm still not buying the copyright argument. The venue had to pay royalties each time she performed it, she released it as a single many years after she recorded it and included it on one of her video compilations.

She has to pay royalties to DOZENS of people with the slew of writers on Rebel Heart album and all those songs she didn't write like Dress You Up or Holiday.

Plus she excluced Lucky Star as well, one of the very few songs she is credited as a sole writer...

  8. Some people here are full of negativism. Are you really fans of Madonna? I'm confused.

I guess it is the perfect time to jump ship.

LDLHA and TAB were the only real surprises of the show and they are out, so is every acoustic number except Like A Prayer that's been on almost all of her live releases by now.

I think the future will be the same, just relying on past glories, cashing in on those people who spend money on anything she releases and who attend multiple shows. That's not the Madonna I've become a fan of many years ago.
