  1. I also that they update/fix the messed up digital version of The Immaculate Collection, Something To Remember and Celebration. I can’t believe they haven’t done that by now. They weren’t but since Gambler has been re-issued now, it’s likely that they found some sort of agreement or distribution deal.
  2. I know but the title sucked 😅 and it didn’t have Q-Sound Mixes of those songs. It also didn’t have Dress You Up on it. That wasn’t a stop it in the sense of "shut up" but rather in the sense of "stop right there".
  3. I think we have to keep in mind that The Immaculate Collection was not meant for fans but for the GP (and it worked!) The title is flat out iconic and probably one of THE smartest titles for a greatest hits album. Personally, I have would have done something a little different and add the "missing" hits as b-sides to the singles that were released. Justify My Love / Causing A Commotion (Q-Sound Mix) Crazy For You (Q-Sound Mix) / Dress You Up (Q-Sound Mix) Rescue Me / True Blue (Q-Sound Mix) Holiday (Q-Sound Mix) / Who's That Girl (Q-Sound Mix) Either that or release an EP titled "Forbidden Fruit" or some other biblical pun.
  4. GHV2 in general was a hot mess but the edits weren’t that much of a problem and I actually agree with @Aiwa08, I also would have preferred actual single versions over Shep's mixes (most of which are inferior to the original mixes).
  5. Literally who moaned about the GHV2 edits? Those were all official single edits. The issue was that Celebration did a lazy job at trying to sell faulty reconstructions of certain edits as the real deal. In case no one has told you before: It's about collecting and having an ACCURATE representation of her catalogue available online. I personally do not have the attention span to listen to certain songs for 6 minutes straight unless I really LOVE the song or am in the mood to listen to it. Aside from that, edits are great for fitting more songs onto mixtapes or even playlists. What I will never understand is why you and the troll are repeating yourselves with the same complaint about some fan's collecting habits like a broken CD. Why don't you go to there parts of the forum and talk about things you are interested in instead of complaining about people talking about single re-issues you don't seem to care about to begin with?
  6. STOP IT. It belongs on the single along with the original 7" version. They could add the original instrumental or Warning Signs as a treat but I'd be just as fine with getting these two elusive versions where they belong. The Something To Remember album had a version that was specifically mastered and edited for inclusion on that album. That’s the version that should appear on that album.
  7. I did. Check my post above. There was a bit of info on the version of the song but after reading it, I realized that there was no info on the sample. Anyway, 50% of the sample is very clearly a pitched dry vocal sample from Bedtime Story. The other part is likely Janet (for whom Nellee had also done remixes for around that time).
  8. Actually, nevermind. The first moan is quite obviously Janet Jackson. It's a sample from "Funny How Time Flies (When You're Having Fun)". You can hear it here at 4:12:
  9. Yeah I realized that too a minute ago. Anyway, I actually put the moaning vocal stem into Audacity and when I pitched it a bit, it sounded very close to a part of the sample in #1 Crush. Nellee must have used the dry vocal to distort, because the one on Bedtime Story is already slightly manipulated. I'm guessing the first moan is actually from Erotica. It sounds like a distorted/pitched down version of the part from Erotica that comes after "I'll teach you how to..."
  10. The source is literally in the Wikipedia article: https://books.google.de/books?id=uAkEAAAAMBAJ&q="%231+crush"&pg=PA91&redir_esc=y#v=snippet&q="%231 crush"&f=false
  11. I prefer the US one lol. The picture they used on the UK/EU one was far too old.
  12. Also, the sad truth is that some Madonna fans are around 60. If they keep waiting to release some of the rare stuff, there will be no one left to buy or stream it. I even know some fans who have even passed by now and never got to witness the singles on streaming. It’s very very sad, so this whole "things need to stay exclusive" bullshit is extremely elitist and ignorant.
  13. There was an obscure test pressing from 1988 that had Santa Baby bw/ Supernatural on it. I’m not sure if it’s legit but I wanted Santa Baby in my collection instead of a random various artists compilation. I think it would have been a cute idea. I added Can't Stop and the leaked remix instrumental for True Blue as b-sides, along with the little X-Mas radio skit she did that leaked.
  14. TUTBMP is strongly associated with the Erotica album, as it was recorded during those sessions. I think IF they indeed plan to release expanded versions of her albums, it will appear there. I never expected it to appear on this single though. They only go as far as promo mixes occasionally but an actually unreleased version? No chance, unfortunately. And unlike some people here pretending to be super loyal fans by saying crap like "Oh I think it’s great that some stuff stays exclusive to (rich) fans! Not everything should be available. " I am disappointed in the inconsistency and the overall patchiness of these re-releases.
