  1. I hope so too - am really optimistic for what she might come up with now she is back with Warners
  2. I agree - I think Warners would have guided her better on those 3 albums to make the most of the material and get it really polished before they were released as there are good moments in all of them - help with final mixes and production that could have been improved on, track selection to only the best tracks, single choices and timing, quality of remixes and promotion. I remember reading with American Life Warners asked her to do more work on some of the mixes before it's release. I think Interscope didn't care about the music and did nothing to help Madonna continue her successful recording career during her time with them. I think we got 3 unfinished albums that could have been so much better if properly supported by the record label with effort and expertise - but impression is that Interscope put no effort in and didn't have the same expertise to help guide an artist in making a final version of their record in terms of mixes and track selection and promotional clout that Warners have.
  3. 100% - I think it was the worst decision of her career to leave Warners and go with Interscope because we got easily her 3 worst albums while with Interscope
  4. 'I will go if you don't shut up'. when someone screamed 'you go girl' at the bedtime story party when she was trying to read a poem but the crowd kept interrupting her as were so excited There are so many though in her songs and interviews
  5. Would have to go with Rebel Heart, - it's such a mess. The final album mixes were worse than the demos, some of the vocals are grating, too many tracks, more mediocre and bad tracks on there than good ones, and for the most part doesn't sound like any of it was written by Madonna and just an album made and put out to meet contractual obligations. The officially commissioned remixes for the singles were poor. Listening to the demo's there was alot of promise in enough of the tracks to make a really good album with some more work and better production and narrowing the track listing down to the best 10 tracks only. I do think if she had made the record while with Warners we would have got a much better final album - less tracks, better track selection and much better versions and better choice of singles and higher standard of remixes. Maybe the leaks meant decisions on final track listing and mixes got rushed and changed just to make them different to the leaked versions for the sake of it? The mastering is not great too with some really grating shrill vocals (living for love, unapologetic bitch etc) and bad overdubs on some tracks (Graffiti Heart). Just as an album is hard to connect to in the same way as her other albums
  6. Thanks - LOVE IT - so happy Stuart is the musical director on this tour - every song's arrangement and Madonna's vocals on the tour sounds fantastic.
  7. Wonder if they will make her stop at 11:30?
  8. I think they cut her off at 11:30 as read curfew is to 11 and up to 30 mins later with a fine is as late as she can go even with a fine ? Sundays is 10:30 curfew and allowed to go to 11 with a fine?
  9. Love Profusion for sure - to get all the remixes and hopefully the Peters Lost in Space mix of Nothing Fail as the double A side
  10. I really think that the Re-Invention Tour's success, audience's reactions to so much uptempo feel god music and working with Stuart inspired her to make Confession on a Dancefloor within a year of the tour ending rather than continue the serious and sparse sounds of American Life and slower paced/darker Drowned World Tour. Hoping this tour will inspire her again to come up with something as brilliant and what many fans would love to hear
  11. Show looks amazing but just from clips for my personal taste I think would Change Into the Groove to the original lyrics Replace Burning up with another 80s track like Physical Attraction Change Justify My Love to original mix Replace Beast Within interlude with Skin Replace Die Another Day with Rescue Me Bedtime Story use the remix and staging used for the Brits or something similar Rain - Do the song in full with no edits or replace with Power of Goodbye, Secret or Frozen Bitch' Im Madonna - I just hate this song so would change it for one of her signature classics like Who's That Girl
  12. Interscope, Eurovision and Maluma performances
  13. Which of the 2 pits do you think is the best?
  14. It's a mystery - never to be revealed I think
  15. I hope she doesn't work with Mike Dean again
  16. The whole Britney kiss thing was a load of crap not shocking at all by 2003 or even interesting - got to hand it to Madonna though she knew all the tabloids would write endlessly about it and be a great PR stunt from that point of view it got her loads of publicity after American Life took a dip in terms of success
  17. Arguably the best 3 producers she has worked with. William Orbit must have felt great to see the opening of the show with such an amazing performance and live arrangement of Nothing Really Matters
  18. Really hoping she does a house/dance/pop type album as a follow up to Confessions - it's time to make the music she is best at
  19. Was William Orbit at the Paris show last night?
