  1. I was just going by the announcement on madonna.com, they probably got it wrong
  2. Where do people keep getting the idea these will start in August, the blurb from the announcement literally says "to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Everybody", that's October.
  3. They don't make pop stars like they used to
  4. Something about him always breaking the door and chucking her vases about. What a dick!
  5. I'd expect that the details and mock up photos of the first sets will be announced when the pre-orders go live, about 2 months before release date so they can do the relevant promo. There's a hell of a lot of releases to be covered in 3 years so once it starts it's going to be relentless. We already know that MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X all join the ranks at the end of the three years so that makes me suspect they might go with multiple releases at a time. Deluxe editions of Madonna, Like A Virgin and True Blue would be my launch line up prediction.
  6. Just the Madonna release and the Belinda Carlisle live one for me. The list seems huge this year but there's nothing else I'm craving on there.
  7. I'd much prefer Madonna to have stuck to her word and rushed all the deluxe editions out. We could be all be enjoying the missed opportunities and authoring problems now!
  8. I hope we get to do these again once the deluxe editions are out. I'm genuinely gutted I didn't know about this until the 1980's albums had already been done
  9. I was just relieved to see it made it through manufacturing, a few of the rsd releases have been pushed back until June sadly
  10. Nothing Fails deserved a full release and proper video.
  11. Who knew she was also singing about math in her cover of American Pi
  12. I was always under the impression she was only signed for 2 singles initially, Ain't no big deal and Everybody. Ain't no big deal got replaced with Burning Up after Everybody did well and then she signed properly for the album. I might be remembering wrong though.
  13. I can't really rank mine, they all meant different things to me at different times in my life. I love them all in their own way, just some I love more than others lol
  14. It is an amazing album however for me the Evita soundtrack loses some points because aside from You Must Love Me it's just an album of cover versions. Along with ROL and LAP; I think I do rate Confessions in my top 3, I don't mind being laughed at for that either ;)
  15. She nailed it on the Who's That Girl tour, actually I think it's my favourite part.
  16. I loved it at the time, Madonna had been pushing the narrative that only she could play Eva for years. It was said that the Take A Bow video was her pitch to ALW so it would've been a real kick in the teeth if she didn't land the part. For once, she got her wish and the critics pretty much sat in stunned silence when she delivered.
  17. Run faster, her laughter burns you up inside

The Dub of that is wot I'm still hoping for Medellín to get a similar workover.
      :cryin:

  18. Have we seen the Causing A Commotion side of the sleeve yet? I mean, I expect it'll be the same artwork as the original single but it'd be nice to be surprised. I guess the Material Girl/Angel/Into The Groove EP will also get a reissue for a future rsd too
  19. I rushed back from Waitrose for 7pm, Curtains you tease!
