Really Dave? You'll get a lot more respect when you just post with one account. I feel a lot of people here liked it more when you just posted as Dave.  Please rethink on this and don't let anyone convince you this is the way to go because it's not, ok?

I think the same person running her non-defunct fanclub and official website is in charge of the videos at Youtube, but I am not entirely sure.  It's really not a big deal, but I do understand why you think it belongs where it does since the song was released before the Like a Prayer album.  My guess, it's just a silly mistake, but maybe it has something to do with the video wasn't available until 1989.

Do we know anything about who runs her YouTube account? Maybe we could find out. It's hardly an issue but it did feel weird to me. I'm not sure if it was meant to be between Who's That Girl and Like a Prayer or not but it feels wrong

I suspect it was a mistake.  Though, I wonder since the video is a compilation of clips from the film, if it wasn't available until the summer of '89.  I know that I didn't know a video existed for the song until the internet came along.  I know the song was released in several regions outside of the U.S. and is probably why I never saw the video, but I've seen other region specific or rarely shown videos of hers on U.S. Mtv during the 80's.  Anyway, my point is, the video may not been made available until 1989 and that's why it's placed between those two videos.

Donna got a reaction from RUADJAI in A Vinyl for POPULAR is now available on The Weeknd's official store: https://xo.store
@RUADJAIHA! Great response.  However, he won't have a problem selling this.  The song is huge.  Fans from all bases will eat this up.  I'm just surprised they hadn't hopped on releasing a physical versions, months ago. Still, it's great to see the longevity of the song. Not many people could release a video and then release a physical copy this long after it was released. And this is coming from a soundtrack (which actually didn't appear on) of a flopped series.  The run this song has had is incredible!

Donna got a reaction from wtg1987 in late 90s / early 00s pop music really all sounds the same for the most part, don't it
You are only repeating what others have said for decades regarding other generations music!  All I know is that the more I grow older, the more I appreciate even music I used to not like before. Music affects people in different ways.  Not everyone is looking for music with deep meaning or thought.  Sometimes, the most successful songs were meaningless bops! I think we all have that one song that is crazy ridiculous that is possibly hated by others, that we just love. You only live once!  So enjoy what you enjoy and don't let others make you feel like your any less of a person for enjoying whatever music you enjoy!

Yeah I think the saying have a nice day at the end is symbolic for how I see her.....  there's sweetness there behind the whole bad girl image

@Blue SkiesYeah, this was right at the same time when Penthouse and Playboy published her early nudes before she was famous. She was feisty then and she still is now!

Love the song and performance.  I find it very funny and cute as well when she says at the beginning she's not taking shit off and then at the end tells she everyone to have a nice day.

@RUADJAI.... yes nearly a year before.  She and Patrick were already working together for her follow up album. In fact, if I recall this was originally intnded to be her first single from her up and coming next album which was originally going to be titled Live To Tell.

@stickersweeter, I posted the link before watching the video completely through. I was just excited, but like you said it doesn't look too HD to me. There are parts that look good, but it still looks pretty much like what it was before.
The Premium is a scam.  I would never pay for that.
