The point is they were so sure this wasn't going to happen.  Whether it was "secret" or not, they went out of their way to try to insist it wasn't happening.  This is just one of many times they try to insist anything they don't post isn't accurate.  They go out of their way to disprove anything else they aren't able to provide an exclusive for, but the moment they make a mistake they quickly back pedal.  And the info you claim they did know has usually been reported by someone beforehand in most cases, but some seem to conveniently dismiss that and think DM is the site who has everything "exclusive" when it's not always true.

I'd have a hard time in just narrowing it down to just one.  Though, I do agree Confessions would be a good choice, especially for someone more younger.  I think if I had to choose, I'd just say start with the debut and experience her career as it unfolded...

DrownedMadonna just regurgitates rumors and what's already been shared.   Typo or not, for a website that has been known for screaming "exclusives" for years, you'd think they make sure that they'd dot their "I's" and cross their "T's" before issuing another "exclusive".  

Exactly.  While I know there are people out there bashing her left and right, but as you stated, she's far more respected these days than when she was at her prime.  Also, she remains to be a polarizing entity.  She doesn't apologize for it and so those people who always took issue with her, will never budge.  At the same time, I've seen and heard a lot of people who have come around, respecting her more. 
Unfortunately, she isn't what people commercially grab onto anymore.  She's had many generations come after her and so of course, she won't be as successful and be on the tip of people's tongues anymore.  Still, she's active enough that people are still noticing her and learning about the things she's accomplished. Every generation tend to put older artists out to pasture. We all did it when we were younger, and that doesn't change now.

Exactly!  She had five dates that weren't re-scheduled due to the postponement.  Once the tour started, she cancelled nothing!  For the most part, most her tours prior have never had been plagued with cancellations, other than MX Tour and we know that was due to a lot of unfortunate circumstances, including her leg and hip issues. Tell me an entertainer who is 40 years in their career, who has toured as much as Madonna if not more, who hasn't had a tour or two that they had a mess of cancellations.  Life happens!  The fact is; up until MX Tour, she had a pretty good standing with touring with very few cancellations.

Kids?  Taylor has been around nearly 20 years.  I know grandmothers who love her.  I think; some people who try to write her off or diminish her, forget that she's been around for a long time and has acquired an eclectic group of fans.  Up until recently, she hasn't been very polarizing and that is why she has a vast appeal. When she dipped her toes beyond Country, it was well received, so she kept extending her reach and remarkably, she's been successful at it.  It doesn't matter what any of us think of her music, because she has a vast fan base that reaches all demographics.  That is a rarity.  Not many artists have been able to do this.  This is why she continues to make waves.  My guess; she'll continue to do so, but like any artist will eventually start to have less and less commercial success, because like anything in the entertainment industry, people like to put entertainers out to pasture before they are ready.  So unless she decides to pack it in, she might be here for some time to come.  She's very business savy and I can only think that her getting married and/or having children in the near future will only slow her down. Other than that, she is here for a long time to come. 

I'm speaking in "general".  Not you specifically.  In general, a lot of people who don't understand her appeal, so they think the rest of the world is off their rocker in supporting her.  Whatever the case, she's been around for nearly two decades and as mention she has managed to be less polarizing than most entertainers who have been equally or more successful than her.  At the end of the day, she isn't hurting anyone with her music or her success.

And that's where the issue lies.  It's the same for Madonna or any other artist we greatly enjoy.  Some people don't connect with these artists, so they can't understand why others love them so much.  But as stated, this world is vast and taste is subjective.  And unless the person is being greatly harmful to the general public, then I am not concerned how popular and influential they might be.  The world has far more important things to worry about than how popular, successful and famous Taylor is.  She isn't ruining our society or our world.  From what I can see, she is pretty much trying to keep people unified.  That's a plus in my book, even if I am not a fan of all her music.

That's fine, but I've heard enough of her music.  It's not as bad as people are making it.  I like some of her songs.  It's not a huge deal, but at the same time, a lot of people think the same of Madonna and many other artists I enjoy just the same.  I think some people forget that we live in a world where many people think differently from others.  Just because I can't understand someone favoring someone I don't enjoy doesn't mean these people are unhinged, etc.   I also do not feel the need to question why people like Taylor because again, we all have different tastes.  I also don't feel that just because someone likes someone I don't prefer has bad taste.  At the end of the day, I don't see Taylor as someone who is harming our society.  I feel she's a decent person who has just as many demons and fallacies as the rest of us.  She simply has a talent in exploiting her issues, while many of us rather keep it to our selves. Still, I'm not bothered by it, because at the end of the day Taylor Swift being a huge successful entertainer is the last thing I'm concerned about in this complex world of far more horrible and nasty people who are out to annihilate a population of people who they don't agree with.

Just imagine being the one helping to build that stage, knowing it's for the biggest icon in the world!  What fun it is to watch the process of the stage being built.  We forget, a lot of work is put into just setting up a Madonna show too.  So much appreciation and respect to those who are building that intricate stage.

Yeah, DM has had a history of competing with other Madonna fan sites.  I won't say they never had connections, but they spent many years fighting with other fan sites, trying to claim they have "exclusives" when in many cases, they didn't.  They also spend a lot of time disproving those they rival, just to cause friction with those sources.  It's sorta sad because at one time, I do believe they were a website with great connections with a lot of great info, but they ruined that by trying hard disproving other sources that were actually correct about things.

I wouldn't mind her cutting down her speeches tbh. She used to be very quick witted and fun to listen to, this time around she's just mumbling random things and repeating "are you with me?" for 10 minutes, ain't nobody got time for that
