I grew up with Amie, we rode the bus in middle school together and also worked at a bookstore for years after high school. Her story took a terrible turn recently.       Its a rock and a hard place, I remember how much shit the Grammys got for Steely Dan winning AOTY over Eminem years ago and it seems they have changed course dramatically.

      They don't have an ageism issue, they have a ratings issue and have had it since the 90's, which is when they were being routinely critised for over looking newer, younger artists and is also the time when they tried to change their image. It worked intially, but has now back fired on them, It has nothing to do with good music and hasn't for a long time. They don't care who wins, they only care about who turns up, who performs and if they can bring in viewers

      I really liked this. Made me look at the album in a new way. It really is a divorce album, but unlike what you would think one would sound like.
