American Life wasn't a flop. It was a disappointing seller and it underperformed at 5 million worldwide, 1 million in the US, but not an all out flop
 
I mean it went to #1 in virtually every major country.
 
A flop would be the worldwide sales of Janet, Mariah, Britney, Gwen, Christian's last few albums.

Not really. Rihanna only has 2 #1 albums in the US for instance

You forgot she also won the People's Choice Award earlier this year for Favorite Music Icon and was nominated for Favorite Female Artist for the first time since 1991!

NEITHER Trump nor Hillary were good Presidential choices but I don't hate either of them.

Also like Hillary and Trump, Madonna is an EXTREMELY divisive figure. All three are capatalists and love making money though.

There's NO PROBLEM with RH, it's her best album since Confessions. It's really a "return to form".
 
The leaks COMPLETELY hurt the albums commercial potential, instead of being at 1.2 million worldwide sales (which is still more than Mariah and Janet last albums COMBINED) RH would of easily equaled if not beat the 2 million sales of MDNA if it didn't leak in full 5 months prior.
 
Amazingly RH would of finished as like the #5 top selling album of the year worldwide with those numbers

Some are missing like her 1987 MTV VMA performance of Papa Don't Preach, granted it was live via satellite from the WTG tour and in 1990 MTV aired a special on the Blond Ambition rehearsals and Madonna Gave an EXCLUSIVE performance of Vogue that was wildly different from the actual BA performance. Different choreography and everything.

^ That's am exception. But if Madonna sold just 2 million worldwide with RH it would be among the top 5 selling albums of last year. I think if RH never leaked in full months in advance she probably would have sold about 2 million (MDNA numbers) instead of 1 million worldwide.

Well it definitely SHIPPED 1 million copies. Not bad considering the leaks and the sad state of album sales. More then the latest from Mariah And Janet COMBINED.
