Like some of u like to involve money... if she was being silenced by his money and his lawyers? The Jackson’s family love to use it against the victims. Silence them too. :Madonna030:

Maybe desensitized was wrong choice of words... I just woke up when I wrote that. But I just meant, the documentary didn't provide much evidence and therefore it didn't have the impact it had on other people apparently. I think the doc relies on shock value to sell the story (detailed sexual acts), but the fact there's no evidence cancels out any sort of shock anyone could have. Anyone can say anyone showed them how to masturbate. I went into this doc expecting to have my feelings validated about this weirdo , that he did it, and I ended up coming out of it with a need to do research because something didn't seem right, and it seems everything I now come across seems to point to opportunistic families and or people talking advantage of someone who is strange and incredibly rich. I'm all for believing victims and hearing them out, but I also know this world is fucked up and people do and say crazy shit for money. Especially if this other kids family got 20 million just for bringing allegations forward... Oprah couldn't even get these guys to answer questions properly. They default to 3 answers over and over without offering any sort of detailed account of what happened. They also don't talk as if they've now "learned" about grooming, they talk in absolutes. "He was grooming us". It comes across as an agreed upon story to stick to rather than someone simply recounting an experience.

I think this topic deserves a thread.
