The abortion is a difficult subject to address for a number of reasons but I also feel like if she addressed it it would largely be the question every journalist would ask her about it in the press junkets and that could be very uncomfortable and triggering for her. Especially when she’s talking about her whole life story. She probably won’t want to be left with a lasting memory of the world focusing on what she lost and not what she created. It’s difficult

Insightful but can I just say, all this investigation makes me feel very uncomfortable. Nobody should dig so deep into abortion history. Is all of this so important?

    Golden Floor?

This is giving me disco energy.

    Here for it.
    Another album so soon?
    It doesn’t seem realistic.
an EP I can see for sure but unless she actually recorded the same amount of tracks as she did for Rebel Heart and split them into two projects that would be cool.
I can’t see why not actually.
Though that seems so unlikely seeing as Madame X was a contract closing album. I’m not sure the logistics of the next one.

Here’s an Idea. What if it’s actually a compilation of singles from the Interscope era along with a slew of new tracks. That would be a cool way to wrap up this portion of her journey before the biopic and next record contract.

surely we would have heard about this before now if the superbowl is in February? Plus will that even happen due to COVID?

I mean, it’s nothing new. Even if there have been changes to what she’s talking about, it truly has been going on for years. It sounds like she’s reading a garbage article from a tabloid.

And sadly, her post has been used as another excuse for her haters to troll her. You know, “Madonna sounds like a silly old aunt/lady who just doesn’t understand how technology and big tech companies work”, or “another uneducated Karen goes on Facebook”, kind of thing. Awful.

What conspiracy theory about this, that's how social media works, they always collecting information about users, nothing new. If you have instagram, facebook, twitter you have to agree to this. Madonna just discover it

I’m getting something in this #makingmagic hashtag. Considering there was lots of Magic stuff ore Madame X maybe she created a bunch of stuff that was great but didn’t really for the Madame x theme and was such a good concept  that she wanted to keep it as a separate project.
    Remember the masks etc?
Also maybe making magic is her way of commenting on her musical creative process.
A pagan winter solstice project would definitely be interesting. That’s 21st of December this year.
    fire and light etc.

I really worship this album, so thank you for the question, I've never thought about it before.
If it's true she didn't write the lyrics (thank you for the info), it could be interesting to understand why she decided to record the song, because, as many said, lyrics are very dark and apocalyptic. From my point of view, she associated them to the excerption from the Book of Revelation which describes the figure of Babylon the Great as 'the mother of the abominations on the Earth': in this case the lyrics could depict a society which is the raw and violent representation of Babylon and on the other hand her will to not be part of it any more (I can't carry these sins on my back/ Don't want to carry any more). However it's fascinating how many times she referred to this biblical character: first The Reinvention Tour, which should have been called The Whore of Babylon Tour (is it true or just a fake?), then 'Wash all Over Me' ... She should do a concept album about it.

I have to say I'm not buying any of these new album rumours, specially the Superbowl feat. The Weeknd one.
I mean... When did she have the time to do any of this? She ended a tour, got surgery, start a recovery process, finish the writing of her movie, spend a lot of time with her family and boyfriend, helped her boyfriend with his own projects...   I don't expect any new music soon but I don't mind to be proven absolutely wrong

Electric guitars, Vocals that resemble whale calls, and words of changing the trajectory we are on in this world make up one of the most underrated tracks of her career. A song she has never performed live, but placed on the album Ray of Light before the rambunctious title track. I would argue for good reason.

Some lines that I don't quite get or understand the reference are in the second verse:

    "...Students rape their teachers...
...While the churches burn their preachers..."

They seem to be describing real world problems, but I don't get their references. The words "rape" and "burn" may be a metaphor for something else, but I don't really get what she's referring to. You guys have any ideas?

What do you guys think about this song?

    Children killing children while the
    Students rape their teachers
    Comets fly across the sky
While the churches burn their preachers
We can't carry these sins on our back
    Don't want to carry anymore
We're gonna carry this train off the track

    Wash all over you
    Swim to the ocean floor
So that we can begin again
    Wash away all our sins
    Crash to the other shore

I like it and the message, the lyrics and the vibe are perfect as second track but it's not very... "her"? Whatever it is that makes a song a Madonna song.
Actually, as with "Candy Perfume Girl", "Swim" was originally by Orbit and Susannah Melvoin too but she only got credit for "Candy Perfume Girl":
Melvoin maintains she also wrote the original lyrics to Ray of Light‘s “Swim,” which, she says were “changed, but not significantly,” as well as the original melodies, which she concedes were “manipulated.”

    I just realized something important...
Madonna's Navamsa chart that started to be strong and valid around her 37th, 38th year of life has her rising ascendant Punarvasu...in Vedic astrology, a rising ascendant describes who you become as a person, and Punarvasu simbol is 'a ray of light'...so Madonna was well aware of this change and her Navamsa, because she named her album after her Navamsa nakshatra!!! ?

However, I'm sceptical too about all this.  People were making praying circles asking for an EP and a collab with The Weeknd, and now this ~insider~ includes both things into his leak. How convenient.

Personally, I don't like tattoos and frankly I'm scared by needles. But what intrigues me about her tattoo is where she did it. I study medicine and I immediately recognized the radial artery, which is associated with the radial pulse: it's one of the points where you can check the heart rate and you can feel the heart beat. Secondly, it's near her red string, which, according to Kabbalah, wards off misfortune. If we consider these aspects, it doesn't seem to have strange meanings: we can safely assure it's all about her love for her kids. Plus, it is very minimal and discreet, so maybe she didn't do it for shocking people. Anyway, we don't even know if it's temporary or not, perhaps we're discussing about nothing.
Above all, I found it very cute and sweet.

This is not an attack, I only want to share what I know about cosmetic surgery and try to explain why she appears this way (I haven't already graduated; if there's a physician here, he/she can be very helpful). First of all, the majority of aesthetics procedures is temporary, they last generally 6-8 months, so if you want the result to last, you have to do it regularly. For implants, you can remove them. Secondly, we have to clarify how injections work: they are obviously different, but all of them are temporary. Generally fillers are about hyaluronic acid (it helps the skin to remain hydratated because it imbibes water, due to the chemical structure) or botulin toxic (it causes the relaxation of the facial muscles, so wrinkles don't appear). But, I repeat, all of these procedures are temporary. Thirdly, we have to analyze the aging process: everyone ages in a different way from others and genes play a fundamental role in this situation: banally, if you have the right genes, your aging process will be good and you won't seem different from how you were in youth. On the other hand, if you have 'bad' genes, you'll seem very different, even if you don't use cosmetic surgery. Above all, the hormonal flux changes radically and it causes weight gain and swelling, especially in face. Finally, we have to consider that, in pictures, lights and poses are very important for the final outcome: it's not uncommon that young people seem strange or ugly in some pictures due to these factors. Now, I'll try to analyze (I can be wrong, don't attack me) our case: I can't deny she used cosmetic surgery, but if I observe her actual pictures and her '90 ones, I still can say she didn't change so much: the face structure is the same, the proportions are the same. So, what changed? Her aspect, due to aging: what we see is not completely the results of multiples surgeries, but the results of aging. If you are not completely persuaded, let's analyze her recent photos without filters and strange lights: she's very similar to how she appeared 20 years ago; she's not puffy and it's easy to see that she didn't destroy her face completely, she's just aged. Obviously mass media are obsessed with youth and they don't know that people can age and change without cosmetic surgery: lots of news about celebrities' bodies are just fake and incorrect only because journalists are ignorant about common physiologic processes and they always blame surgery if they can't understand how people have changed physically through their life: sometimes they're right, sometimes not. We have to accept that people age, this is not a fault.
Summarizing, I think that she obviously used aesthetic surgery, but also that her body changed indipendently of it and her genes didn't help her. I hope she'll no longer use silly filters or strange lights, she doesn't need them, she's pretty as she is. Less is always more.
I hope I didn't hurt anyone. I just wanted to clarify some aspects. No attack intended.
