honestly i dont care much about errors, bad vocal, problem on stage ecc.... with the health scare, something not easy and very serious, her age.... ok she have the energy of a woman of 30s, but it dosent matter how many hours of gym or yoga you do ... your body have 65, she is making a tour with a show after the other.... just wow.... i dont think we will ever see singers of M age, doing so much shows in a very short period of time, around the globe, with all this segments and dance she do on stage, for so many hours.... after a very shit year, a big family, a so competitive industry and with all the remixes and feats she put out this year and and last year.... i have only more admiration for her and her artistic journey.

I met him before, several times, He used to come a lot to a bar I used to work and I know the owners and their club. He work there too. And I know lots of his acquaintances. He has been always a nasty, pretentious knob. Not even like someone that could be arrogant to some but nice to others. I still have to meet someone that has a nice word about him. He has been profiting from others and trying to make that he is more than he is. I think he accused Madonna of stealing his looks and say it to some tabloid , but Madonna couldn't care less and since then he is bitter.
Didn't he move to LA and live as freeloader for one in the circus of Housewives?
Years ago was going to EVERY single party in London and trying to impress everyone and getting free booze and privilege for being there. But got to a point that promoters and others couldn't care of his crap anymore.

The way Madonna is still gracious to Cher and Elton John after all the shit they say and has never responded to this man in forty years speaks volumes about his relevance. It must hurt him...

I've met Boy George and he's an arrogant twat, he thinks he's more famous than he actually is. He was swanning around the place like  a peacock.
The reason why Madonna doesn't respond is because she doesn't care about someone who had a couple of hits in the early 80's and has no relevance in her life.

Two faced cunt, not only with Madonna but with friends as well, i know this guy whom used to host him in Paris and he pretended him to be his best friend then he ghosted him after more than a decade and he told me other bad things about him, so when i read he says Madonna is a horrible human being it's really perverted. Maybe selling his book will able him to pay back the money he owes to a lot of people. Judging by his new cheap dentures making him lisp, money has not come yet. Except for Marilyn who is not the last one to trash him, he does not have a lot of friends left and people from his Camden years hate his guts. I say two faced because when he's not promoting something and needs Madonna to be talked about, he defends her bites and nails on social media, i guess her totally ignoring him last month backstage at the Celebration tour cut deep. Why would she talk about him ? He is irrelevant to her life and she does not need him to be talked about. I mean his life is doing reality tv and being managed by a reality tv star husband...Sad because he has a lot of very very good tracks in his vault but music is not his focus and it has never been hence his career....he'd rather release another cheap Culture Club best of with sad remixes than going into his vault and give fans the real diamond he has there.
Boy George is one of these sad persons, most of them older gay men, who think being a cunt is having a personality when it's just being a cunt.
When you see all these 70's and early 80's pop stars saying nasty things about Madonna you have to remember that when she came onto the scene she obliterated and ended their careers because she was the real deal.

I only accept complains from people who were at the show tonight and were affected by the delay...like me. And i don't give a fuck, so. I'd rather wait for Madonna for 5 hours than having to endure Taylor Swift being on time. I'm currently typing on my phone in a bus going home. So i'm killing time and type this to cut myself off my suroundings. It rained all day and night and the bus smells like a wet dog and thousands wet smelly jean's , i'm using this to try not to make eye contact hahaha, i'm trying to look busy.
There was a lot of technical issues, the rails holding the lights above the stage had to be lowered down and people were asked to move from the pit. Then there was sound problems, her voice was louder than the backtrack and she wasn't hearing the music so she was sometimes not on cue, singing too fast. During her speeches you could see a guy fixing something in the levitating "box" so maybe that's why she spoke so much to us as to kill time.
But it was fire, the place was packed, i missed Stuart because i was talking to friends i had not seen in a while near the store and we did not know it was him playing, in fact we thought it was a mix on tape fom where we were. Nevermind. It was electric, i saw Madonna at all her "Bercy" shows and the mood on this one reminded me a lot of the one at The Girlie Show, the audience was insane. There's a lot of dance numbers, it seems to allude to the fact that she was a dancer first and it looks stunning live, i sometimes fogot it was a Madonna concert and felt i was watching a modern dance ballet at le Theatre du Châtelet. I think i was standing next to some dance's families since they scream at them (On t'aime ! ) and cheered two of them each time they got close to were we stood. She gave her all and was super long (2H30) but it went quicker than a ray of light. It's a lot to take in though. It's almost like each song is its own segment. Ok i'm done for now, my stop is next.

I actually think the merch for this tour is very good. My only issue is the prices. I did not buy anything because I just think 50 euro for a tshirt is way too expensive.

True but still is jumping on the wave of sensationalism. He could just ignore the whole thing but he didn't. I think it was great. Let's don't forget this man was selling a 'straight' image before and he was forced to come out. But that's what I mean if he can perceive M 'selling out ' with that performance he can admit he give himself to the spectacle as well.

I think the “desperate” tag goes hand in hand with ageism, and this was kind of the beginning of when Madonna started to bear the brunt of that. Why did nobody say Britney or Christina were “desperate” for participating in it? Were they not also gaining some publicity from this performance ? It is not as if Madonna’s career was dead and buried in 2003. She’d had one less successful album only.
I think prior to this performance people had become comfortable with Madonna being a certain way that was more age appropriate. This was kind of a turning point where she began to revert back to the old Madonna persona of her younger years and many had an issue with that. Including many fans.
This now stands as a career highlight.

I would have loved if she performed American Life with a bunch of war imagery. Or Into The Groove with Missy and wearing khakis?
    NOT!
I love George but this was the VMA’s. It’s always been about shock. The Stuart price remix is insanely good and one of her best. Also, this was just the start of gay marriage equality talks in the US. It was cool to see the bride and groom play from such huge gay icons. I’ll never forget coming home from an audition and my sister freaking out telling me what happened. She recorded it for me and we were just GAGGED! Hahaha

I suppose this was a popular view at the time but the performance stands up as iconic nowadays. I’m sure even George would have a different perspective now.

    But he wasn’t accurate.
Madonna was playing the groom and the Disney Kids were Madonna’s brides.
    The Bride and Groom kiss.
I like how people try to make it about more than that, though.

So... I think alot of people felt that way at the time, but looking back now it's easy to see that it was brilliant and ahead of its time.  Name another performance from that very show.... I'll wait.
There's always resistance to changes in the music industry, just look at Hall and Oats talking about how they didn't like music videos cuz they didn't wanna have to become "actors" in 1985 or whenever that was.  Having an element of shock wasn't too common at this time except for maybe Britney tearing off her clothes to a nude bodysuit a short time before this. Eminem may be another example of what was to come as far as shock value in performance, but he did it so well that people didn't even see it as shock. Being labeled homophobic and then obviously willfully participating in having Sacha Baron Cohen's bare ass plopped in his face was also a brilliant performance he just didn't do it as a musical performance.
It wasn't long after this that Janet flashed her boob. Not brilliant, but people still remember it and talk about it. In fact the entire show was eclipsed by those 3 seconds. A star studded show reduced to a nipple.
Flash forward to Lady Gaga and her entire career became shock. and there is a definite line in the music industry before Gaga and after Gaga when EVERY SINGLE ARTIST was doing EVERY SINGLE THING they could to shock the audience. It's not enough to just stand there and sing your hit song. You have to also do trapeze. Squirt whip cream out of your boobs. Kiss your same sex dancer. Twerk with a big foam finger. It's not enough to wear a gown, you have to wear raw meat and 75 inch heels and a blue wig.
I think it's mostly cooled off although Sam Smith and Kim Petras and their devil performance was most likely trying to achieve this, but I think the audience is too ready for it. Shock isn't as shocking anymore. We expect it. but it all started with Madonna. Arguably with her first VMA performance when she PURPOSEFULLY rolled around on the ground and humped the floor. At the time people thought she was crazy... in time, everyone would be humping the floor with their asses out.
The power of Madonna is that she doesn't limit herself or her brand to what has worked in the past. She sees what's happening and adapts. A lesbian kiss was being performed by that girl group, I think maybe even at the VMAS before 2003. Madonna doesn't scoff at what's being done, she says.... how can I do this but make it bigger. When she talks about the kiss she says it's part of the narrative of the performance ... She's the groom, Britney and Christina were the brides blah blah blah... bullshit, she knew exactly what she was doing. Listen to the music... if they didn't kiss at that moment what would fill those seconds?
How would the crowd have reacted if she had come out and sang the album version of Hollywood like this:

It might also be worth noting that she hasn't performed on the VMAS since then, with the exception of the EVMAS in 2005 and her asses performance in 2021.

What was he promoting then ? I stopped being interested after Older.
I know some fans were upset she did that with Britney and Xtina, i'm not fond of both them but his comment is too harsh on them, he comes from Wham which was as bad as music from the Disney Club. Wake Me Up is a stupid song. So i don't understand why someone with his cheap background could look down on younger artists trying, at that time, to break the teenage mold they were trapped into, just like he did. I really saw this as Madonna not being stuck up like her fans are, including me. To me it's really like when Miley was being vilified after the MTV awards and she guetted with her a few weeks later to support her when she was being trashed all over the media. The only collab i regret her doing is with Justin because he's a fake and dull as milk. I wish she did 4 Minutes with Michael Jackson and Dance 2nite with George Michael.

As someone who attends live theater regularly (and the occasional concert), I've noticed that a great deal of shows/artists are no longer producing tour programs. So I've inquired why with folks in the industry. According to them, tour programs are incredibly expensive to make, and are not the biggest sellers at merchandise stands. The cost to make them vs. how many sell is considered no longer viable to the industry...thus, a lot of artists/touring productions (concerts, theater, etc.) are no longer selling them.
