    Future Lovers was live at the first show, possibly a couple more, just like Papa Don't Preach on RIT.

    Sorry but a lot of incorrect info going on around here.

    MadonnaTribe confirmed Love Profusion was NEVER rehearsed. The setlist posted on the first page was simply a concept and when Madonna started to rehearse the songs, only I'm So Stupid, Dress You Up and maybe Devil... were there that did not make the final cut.

    http://www.madonnatribe.com/idol_03/songs.htm

    And if you have been wondering if that rumour of "Love Profusion" meant to replace "Crazy For You" during the European leg of the Tour was true, I can now tell you after chatting with a few people involved on the tour that it was not true, but I've been told the band indeed tried to convince Madonna to perform "Love Profusion" in Europe, but instead of "Nothing Fails", in a brand new acoustic version that was never managed to be rehearsed, and so we did never had the chance to enjoy it in the live show.

    Also, it was only a Brazilian fansite that talked about Nothing Really Matters, it was never confirmed by any official sources (i.e. Jamie King). I also remember Bad Girl was a fake report when DrownedMadonna admitted their source confused it with Hanky Panky ("treat me like I'm a bad girl).

    As for the rest, Some Girls was meant to be in the place of Vogue:

    MTribe admins talked about several songs that were considered for S&ST but it's doubtful any of them were rehearsed. TPOG was not one of them, but Open Your Heart was and I think some acoustic version leaked.

    Whatever happened to the Madonna who disliked playing the versions released on CD. She barely had any reinventions in this decade bar a couple of acoustic renditions, it's so disappointing.

    I'm pretty sure the tracklist was not chonological and many ballads were left out because she had just scored one of her biggest dance hits ever so they did not want to showcase her slow side again that was covered with Something To Remember.

    I would also guess that they did not want to open the set with Erotica. Plus they explained why American Pie was cut so I'd say the only real issue was the lack of new songs, they had so many Music outtakes for God's sake...

    Ray Of Light
    Most of the album sounds dated, her slow tempo singing does not match the William Orbit "remix style" and those live performances were simply vile.

    This is ridiculous.
    This tour needs to be over.
    Amazing how she managed to fuck up the one remaining thing she was still #1: touring.

    Guys, I'm so so sorry, but I'm a little high right now and listening to Madame X audio right now, and...
    She doesn't sound great. A *LOT* of it is audio mixing. I can hear the layers so much better. I think they have it setup so that whenever her live voice cuts out, a piped in voice comes in. She's not the first artist I've seen do that. And there's a TON of reverb on her voice (makes it echo). Finally, there's definitely pitch correction on her live voice. So much of it is a backup track.
    I'm not sure her live voice is quite what we're making it out to be, I'm sad to say.

    I'd sadly say yes, it's her worst -- Having seen it 2x in person (so don't come at me saying I'm going based off her Insta).
    I've seen every tour from Confessions-onwards, barring S&S, and I consider Rebel Heart to be when the Madonna concert experience first started to lose its "X Factor". Something about the pacing and theme of that show was off -- I remember that was the first time I witnessed a show of her's that felt disjointed, rushed, and dare I say cheap?
    The Madame X Tour was a whole new low, in my opinion. It's missing absolutely everything I used to love about the Madonna concert experience:
    * Production
    * Interesting visuals / staging (she literally reuses music video clips)
    * Good choreography (I still don't understand how anything in that show gave her an injury).
    * A sensible flow
    * A good balance of hits and new songs
    * Interesting interpretations of the old songs (Frozen is fine, I guess)
    * A controversial, breathtaking segment / moment
    * A good entrance
    * An excited crowd, due to the late starts / A/C / lack of hits / etc.
    * A general "X Factor" attitude in her performance that seems to be lacking completely nowadays
    * TALKING AND JOKES. Jesus, the end segment of the Rebel Heart Tour was foreshadowing of her descent into live concert madness. Sigh.
    I really feel like she's trying to execute a Judy Garland approach to performing nowadays that kinda just isn't working. That's the kinda persona that I gathered from the show. I'm curious to see if she'll stick with this format or not.

    RIT was one of the least physical tours? I actually say that about Confessions. First section only Like a Virgin could be a bit demanding. She walks and poses for most of Future Lovers, Jump and Get Together. If you think about it...her first actual dance break happens in Isaac followed by Sorry. Third section you only got Let It Will Be. It was basically the entire last section that was physical.
    RIT you still had that Vogue/Nobody Knows Me moment. You got Express Yourself, Hanky Panky, Die Another Day, Don't Tell Me and the last section from 5 songs, 4 of them had heavy choreo.

    Just curious, if Madame X is not her worst tour, what would fellow M fans say *is* her worst tour? I couldn't possibly put one of her other tours lower than this one.

    Also, Human Nature is the 3rd song of the show again, followed by Vogue like on S&ST. Like A Prayer is the penultimate song like on MDNAT. These are the things the likes of Janet Jackson have been long criticized b Madonna fans alongside album versions and backing tapes...

    I’d honestly be perfectly happy if she never toured again as long as she kept making music and Warner Bros. started treating her back catalog with the respect it deserves (remasters, anniversary editions, etc.).

    Just to be clear: all I know is that she is not ill. And that she hates hates HATES it when people are sat down. And has done since 1985 as we all know. She completed her soundcheck. Then I have no idea. So let’s not be all MadonnaNation-like and start putting words in my mouth that were never there just to bully me and call me a liar. Lol.

    My only concern right now is for the many many friends I have over there - some who flew from Australia for closing night of the US dates, who have missed out again. I’m lucky in a way  - i did the NY and Chicago runs and because I’m caring for my mum full time at the moment I couldn’t make it over.

    Come on guys, we all know she's a hideous person on the inside, but that's not where her talent lies. It's not news. We know she treats staff like crap, always has, there were reports of this as early as WTG Tour where much of her crew hated her.
    This is the same woman Sir Michael Parkinson admitted had her assisted pick her nose clean before she was filmed on his show.
    She is categorically right up her own arse, and I think as time has gone by fans have become less and less endeared by it.

    Maybe then it's time to accept that there's a problem with what's going on this era. Fans are turning their backs left right and centre, and perhaps with good reason.
    Ive stopped posting my thoughts much because it's actually getting me down a little and beginning to kill my enjoyment for my show in February. I still want to have the most amazing night, but I'm going in with relatively low expectations compared to other concerts, including previous M shows.
