  1. She also recorded the album in various locations (not just in studios), but with many different producers. Plus a lot of the tracks ended up getting re-worked/remixed from other producers. And A lot of the mixing was done at different times by different people. That whole album just became a modge podge of different sounds, and I guess moving the albums release a month early, and the first 5 tracks coming out in December and a big effect on the engineering, which is a shame because it's very noticeable from beginning to end.
  2. Diplo barely had any input on the production of that song though.
  3. By the time she hit the US, she was already testing looks for Swept Away, which is why on some dates she sported a tan, or why her hair wasn't straightened.
  4. No. She tried duality with Rebel Heart and was told no. It doesn't matter what kind of form it is, there's no need to give it a try again. At the end of the day, a gimmick is a gimmick. This is no different than the Meerkat premiere.
  5. MDNAskin is like the children's books..., one day they will pass. So many dramatic fans.
  6. http://www1.nyc.gov/site/mome/initiatives/onefilmny.page'>http://www1.nyc.gov/site/mome/initiatives/onefilmny.page On September 13th, one filmwill unite New York City. Which one will it be? The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment has teamed up with chief film critics A.O. Scott and Manohla Dargis of The New York Times to choose five great films all shot in New York City. During the month of August, we want you to vote for the one film we'll all watch together in parks and movie theaters on September 13th. Hugh Jackman, Sting, Trudie Styler, John Leguizamo, Laverne Cox and Katie Holmes have all made their picks in the videos below. Now it's your turn! The choices: Crooklyn, On the Town, Desperately Seeking Susan, The Wedding Banquet or New York, New York susan.png This 1985 comedy starring Madonna and directed by Susan Seidelman tells the story of a bored New Jersey housewife played by Rosanna Arquette who is desperate to escape her suburban life. When she suffers amnesia after a little accident, Arquette is mistaken for a free-spirited and free-loading New York City drifter named Susan, portrayed by Madonna in her first starring role. The movie boasts a time capsule of great songs from the 80s, most notably, Madonna's smash hit "Into the Groove." http://www1.nyc.gov/site/mome/initiatives/onefilmny.page
  7. Watch Naked Ambition. Fab Five Freddy talks about the dance
  8. U2 is putting out a beautiful Boxset for Joshua Tree. We already know about the re-leases of MJ's and the current Purple Rain re-release from prince, all jammed with bonus content.... Madonna, Like a Virgin, TRUE BLUE..... These are ICONIC albums. LEGENDARY! The holy trinity. They deserve the same treatment.
  9. Why don't we all just buy it instead of questioning it? Let's try and get it to chart!!
  10. This seems to go over peoples heads regarding the FF performance. Thank you for reminding everyone.
  11. "Wtf is mdna" was an Internet sensation, so...
  12. I think it's perfect the way it is. I wouldn't change a thing. I do like Avicii's Wash a little more than Kanyes. But there is a bit of a cohesiveness to the album, and I think that distinct Avicii would have thrown it way off. I understand her reasoning. If anything, the only thing I would change, is switch it from a 1 disc album, to a double album. I would have liked to have seen Madonna's original idea come to reality. The right tracklist, the right versions. Just as long as Madonna is happy, I am happy.
