I think a full version of Rescue Me done towards the end of the show similar to the original with the full choir would have torn the roof off - I would have ditched Come Alive and replaced it with a full on version of Rescue Me

The bootleg from Barcelona is amazing for seeing what a great atmosphere and audience from the opening night - wish there was a pro-shot of it. We know the screens footage is recorded from every show she has done since Whot's That Girl - be great if it leaked

2nd rate song, bad vocals - but great live performance I think Beautiful Killer was stronger when preformed at the Olympia show using the same sort of set up for Revolver

Yes and the shows were much better to watch for it. I think this one is going to be the least live and most removed from what the audience saw of her concert DVDs' to date

I thought Madonna re-worked it with someone from her team as there was an article in the press about how Avicci commented that he did not especially like how it been changed and that they made it worse but maybe he was talking about the other tracks - I know the comments were taken out of context too by the press but think he made some remark that he liked his production better before they changed it - who knows though. I don't think the album credits for Rebel Heart are not 100% accurate as Ryan Tedder did some work on some of them but is not credited yet the final versions of Hold Tight and Joan of Arc sound like they have his touch on them

MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X - they are way behind every album that came before . I think the move away from Warners had alot to do with it. Each of them are still good records but by Madonna's own standards they stand behind her others - they are just not her enough and all miss the magic that you feel on all her previous albums - I don't think she had much involvement in writing any of them and the production on MDNA and Rebel Heart was poor and the style she went for Madame X just made for a collection of good but unmemorable records. Each of them have a small number of good tracks though.

I get the feeling this is going to be her most un-live presentation of her live shows so far

I agree Confessions was the point it changed for the worse - the Confessions edit by Jonas I thought was fantastic but think she is trying to achieve the same quality doing it herself - I would be excited if she hired Jonas again for her live shows

When you think back to when her tours were broadcast live and did not need 7 + month of post production to make them ready for viewing. So different now and the last two were worse than a live broadcast as ended up being like watching something that had been through photoshop but for video

Agree with alot of the comments - think it was rushed the production, mixing and engineering was poor - too noisy, over processed vocals noticeably pitched up on most tracks, trashy basic forgettable generic EDM sound on some tracks but it still feels like Madonna on some tracks more so than Rebel Heart. I think it just needed some more work to sound better sonically, ditch the weaker tracks and re-work the ones that were good songs with terrible mixing and production like in Girl Gone Wild Even Masterpeice that some people think has a wonderful vocal has some noticeable fake sounding autotune adjustments that spoil that song for me. Turn up the radio had good verses but went nowhere with the chorus I think the better tracks were Some Girls, - love the bridge and is a very 'Madonna' sounding track, I Don't Give A, I'm A Sinner, Love Spent, Falling Free, Beautiful Killer and I F*d up I loved the live slowed down version of Love Spent on the tour I think Interscope picked the wrong tracks to be singles - which did not help My main gripe with the album is the vocal production which is not really her fault but the people who mixed and engineered it I wonder if she had someone like Daft Punk mix the whole album with her - they could have made more of the tracks and given a less generic feel to some of them. I know she can't win because then she did Madame X and people say it's too experimental etc Most of the remixes for this album and the ones that followed were poor compared to the quality we had ben used to through the nineties and even up to Hard Candy

I don't think she will ever stop until she is dead and there will always be people interested forever in her new work - even if interest less

I love Bedtime Story too but kind of agree that other tracks on the album would have done better as singles certainly in the US and got more radio play but remember Take A Bow was her worst performing single at the time and ended her run of top 10 singles - so maybe they were thinking more international as it got to number 4 in the UK charts helped by the amazing brits performance. When did she do the Pyjama party in the US maybe as it was the title track and had good remixes they wanted to release it and Take A Bow stayed much longer than they expected on the charts in the US and delayed it's release there. At the time I thought Human Nature was not a great single choice as not as accessible as Forbidden Love and Don't Stop and even Sanctuary but now realise it was the right choice
