  1. I think Stuart Price got the perfect sound for her - her vocals obviously had some sort of autotune processing help but she sounded totally live and natural of the tours he did. Same for Live 8 her vocals sounded brilliant - he got the sound spot on for her in addition to fantastic arrangements without exception. Am sure all fans of dance music appreciate his work with her. So grateful she worked with him for the Confessions album and tour as was just so brilliant
  2. Stuart Price really gets dance music and what is going to 'work' with the audience like what is going work in a nightclub. His work as musical Director on Drowned World , Re-Invention and Confessions was amazing - the arrangements of the old and new songs were simply fantastic especially so with Re-Invention and Confessions they were true to the original enough but in most cases even better live and made you want to dance they even had sound quality you feel in a club with a great soundsystem. IMO Stuart Price is a genius - she sounded so goo live on all those tours and the whole sound was really full sounding. I think Stuart mixed the DVDs too. Compare that to the awful sound of alot of MDNA the first track Girl Gone Wild is so badly mixed with tinny sounding weak vocals and not enough base , I don't think Kevin gets dance music the way Stuart does - that's what most of her fans want I think. Most of Madame X and Rebel Heart sounded pre-recorded and not live at all. Really would love if she worked with Stuart Price again on her tours and had Niki and Donna back for back up vocals. Agree the best band she ever had was for The Girlie Show that sounded totally live throughout they were great. I hope she does not work with Mike Dean for live shows either I think he had hand in the Madame X tour - the base sound was great but think her music is going to sound best when she works with someone from from the world if electronic dance music not hip hop or trap, rap etc. Having said that I do agree the arrangement for Candy Shop on the RHT was the best one yet for that song.
  3. Would love her to make more new music but I think it will be years away the biopic will take up several years. I don't see a new album until about 2023 perhaps? There has been a 4 year gap between the last albums from 2008 onwards I think. From a money point of view it's not worth it for her to focus on making new studio albums as it's rare for any album now to see big numbers, it's a shame for her fans though. She can probably make more money from celebrity endorsements or doing something like a reality show these days unfortunately
  4. Justify My Love video & Erotica & Hung Up Confessions tour
  5. At 30:45 New club remix of Like Prayer by top DJ producer CamelPhat Maybe a sign she is going back to Warners that higher quality remixes are getting commissioned.
  6. 1. Wash All Over Me (Avicci original version) 2. Living For Love (Demo version) 3. Ghosttown (album version) 4.Illuminati (Demo version) 5.Rebel Heart (Original Avicci version) 6. Hold Tight (album version) 7: Iconic (Demo version with the breaks section included) 8: Joan of Arc (album version) 9: Inside of Me (Demo version) 10: Bitch I'M Madonna (Mash up with Michael Jackson Beat It mix) 11. Best Night (album version) 12: Take It Back with Pharell
  7. Yes and No. Yes if she gets the film and role right am sure she could be great but on the other hand No because it will not matter how good the film was and she was in it - the film critics and press would slate the film and her and would be so unlikely to be successful at the box office - having Madonna in a film is like a red rag to a bull to the film critics now as to who can come up with the most savage one liners about her acting. The other problem with films is they take so much of her time at the expense of making new music and would much rather hear new music from her. I loved her in Desperately Seeking Susan though and the film itself
  8. I love the album - agree The Look of Love would have been a good addition, possibly Bad Girl too rather than One More Chance. I Want You is fantastic a forgotten gem - would love to work with Massive Attack again
  9. I think I am the only one who liked Mirwais 2009 re-work of It's So Cool lol - can't stand the original acoustic one or the oakenfold remix
  10. Great question so hard to answer I chose David Fincher - Vogue is her best video ever maybe the best pop video ever just flawless plus he did Express yourself, Bad Girl and Oh Father also stunning I would not argue with Mondino though - Open Your Heart, Justify My Love, Human Nature, Don't Tell Me, Hollywood Love the videos from Mark Romanek- Rain, Bedtime Story too
  11. Love the remixes of Erotica and Secret and practically all of her 90s singles had great mixes to go with them - the standard of the remixes she/Warners put out back then and for many years after was first class
  12. Yeah maybe is a bit unfair Masterpiece is not that bad
  13. I love her voice in almost all it's varieties but the vocals on so many of the MDNA tracks I did not like she sounded really tinny - Girl Gone Wild, turn Up the Radio, Masterpiece I think were the worst offenders for not sounding like her and so over processed and or badly handled by the engineers. She sounds pretty good and more like herself on some of the other tracks like Beautiful Killer and Falling Free. The live version the MDNA tour DVD for Girl Gone Wild her vocals sound so poor something much have gone wrong with the recording if that was the best they could get them to sound almost sounded like a computer/robot singing and vocals recorded into a phone. I think for the Rebel Heart album some of the tracks had the same problem Living for Love was really shrill in parts, Unapologetic Bitch grating - I think has more to do with the engineers than Madonna but her voice was much better for Madame X. I did read someone who said they thought the engineer Castellon was the problem in how she sounded on those records doing something to the vocals that did not work
  14. As she said many many years ago - everyone has a Birthday!!
  15. Confessions on A Dancefloor - Ray of Light - Erotica All such cohesive brilliant albums - great songwriting and production and very 'Madonna'
  16. It could be Madonna when it's both eyepatches ? I don't think we see enough of her to be sure it's not Madonna?
  17. Perhaps she should have released the album and first few videos/singles from the album before people even knew about the book, I wonder if the album would have been more critically acclaimed at the time and not be overshadowed by it Then again October 1992 the hype around Madonna and these projects was insane and the appetite in the media to cover it after Blond Ambition, Truth or Dare , Immaculate Collation, League of their own etc - she was everywhere, when she flew into London for 24 hours she was on the front page of every paper arriving at her hotel in London just for visiting to do an interview but the media and public soon turned on her a was a publicity overkill. But agree the disappointment was that Erotica got slated by critics because os Sex book was released at the same time and reflected the media turning against her and just slating her every move and trying to turn her into a laughing stock too
  18. The hair looks the same to me in all the shots - in one shot after the dancer blows the smoke at her and she looks away - when she looks back the hair is in a different position but it does not look like a wig in one and natural in another just the same but shot on different nights ??
  19. It looks like Madonna in all the shots to me in the clip
  20. Has to be Confessions on a Dancefloor
  21. Extreme Occident Frozen Drowned World All very moving not sure why they just are!
  22. I agree - I think it was confirmed that every single show she performs since Who's That Girl the footage used for the Screens is recorded so I guess there is a possibility that the full show from all 3 dates at Wembley exist but would be from the screens which I think it was they use to make clips to send out to news stations. Would love it if leaked - she had the whole stadium wrapped around her finger in London amazing atmosphere and show
