  1. Madonna has never visited my country so I am sure that if Madonna confirmed her presence the tickets would be sold out in the blink of an eye. In my country everyone adores Madonna, everyone knows who she is when they hear her name mentioned and not like Janet Jackson who almost no one knows in Latin America even though many say that her popularity was similar to that of Madonna in the 80s and 90s I only hope that the political and social chaos affecting my country does not discourage Madonna from visiting us for the first time and thus being able to see one of my most cherished dreams come true. And the most important thing: to finally be able to say that I was also able to see Madonna live and stop feeling that envy that I have always felt when reading the experiences of other fans who had the joy of seeing her before me.
  2. The luxury guests that I would like to see are Maluma. No one can deny the special chemistry and complicity that was formed between Madonna and Maluma. I'm sure Maluma is the ideal type of man that Madonna likes. That's why my morbid mind has always wondered if something "intimate" could have happened behind the scenes. That Madonna always gets what she wants is something we all know. Bad Bunny. The most successful artist today. His appearance could reinforce certain rumors that point to a possible musical collaboration long awaited by fans of both artists. As if that were not enough, Madonna recently shared a story on Instagram listening to the music of this artist whose particular style has conquered the entire world. Tokischa. Although I dislike her excessive vulgarity and excessive use of slang when speaking, I think her participation is evident given the strong friendship she formed with Madonna and which made her become the only woman who has shared so many intimate and special moments with her. Other artists I would like to see are the legendary and incomparable Christina Aguilera, Chris Martin, Elton John, PetshopBoys, Shakira, Beyonce and Robbie Williams.
  3. How many negative qualifying adjectives about her personality could we list based on this attitude where mistreatment of the fan or the public in general is something undeniable and evident. However, to do this we would have to be as objective as possible and that would mean getting rid of the armor that symbolizes our fanaticism towards her and that often makes us look for the most far-fetched justifications or excuses possible in order to defend the indefensible. Personally I prefer not to do it. Let someone else do the dirty work.
  4. They say that the only people you should trust are your family. Those who decide to blindly trust other people, even if they are friends for many years, may end up being unpleasantly disappointed because we do not know the hidden instincts they may have or the negative behaviors they may have inherited from their parents. That is why it baffles me to know that Madonna has stopped following Justin as an obvious show of support for Britney in a matter in which she was not present. Each story has two versions. That is why the ideal would be for Madonna to stop following both Justin and Britney. Personally, I think that if what is said in the book were true, both Justin and Britney would have the same responsibility. Personally, my distrust will always go against those who like to victimize themselves, who resort to crying or drama to convince us of their innocence and I have the feeling that Britney is one of them. Especially in this world of fame where nothing is what it seems.
  5. I think it's okay to be outraged or uncomfortable every time someone criticizes or makes fun of Madonna, but sometimes I think that fans are too sensitive in this regard and give too much importance to people who don't deserve it. For example, this artist who was popular at the time but is now part of that group of irrelevant artists that sometimes one innocently wonders if they are still alive or dead because nothing is known about them anymore. Elton John is another of them. Or vocal coaches on YouTube whose miserable and insignificant number of subscribers is a clear indicator that their opinion should not matter to anyone. When any president, important politician, Nobel Prize winner, the Pope or any celebrity in their prime criticizes or mocks Madonna it will definitely deserve my attention. With the walking dead or opportunists who seek to benefit from even an iota of Madonna's popularity and transcendence, definitely not.
  6. Wow. Too many songs and yet I feel like the list falls short considering Madonna's enormous musical catalog. However, I would have liked that more than "containing elements" the musical production had gone further in details and complexity, mixing the songs from beginning to end and not only in the sounds but also in regards to the verses of the songs and not simply present these elements at the beginning or end of the song (In this life/Live to tell) and that in some cases they go almost unnoticed (Where's the party/Everybody). Some fairly basic examples would be Vogue (Sticky and Sweet) which was sung using the 4 Minutes instrumental in the background and where even at a certain point in the song we could hear those original sounds that we fans miss so much. Another example would be Beautiful Killer (Mdna Tour). I'm sure Stuart Price would have done a much better job if he had gone this direction. However, lack of time or perhaps taking the easiest route could have been the reason that the final result was not what I expected in the case of a greatest hits tour. However, the result does not end up being completely negative but it does end up being quite basic and predictable.
  7. As a fan of course I would love a second part of Something to Remember that included some outtakes like Heaven, Like a Flower, Miss you, etc. Generally, Madonna's ballads have been characterized by having a simple production, without great pretensions and where the vocal part is the most important part of the song. Something totally opposite to dance songs where many times in the desire to create a product that stands out from the competition they end up producing a chaotic and disorderly amalgamation of unfortunate sounds that spoil what was originally a beautiful composition. However, putting myself in the shoes of a cold record label executive, I see a compilation of this type as unlikely since it would not generate significant profits since Madonna lacks any ballad that has left its mark on the public in recent decades. In fact, Frozen could be considered her last successful ballad and all the others have passed unnoticed in the taste of the general public. That is why for a new compilation to see the light of day, a success similar to Take a Bow is necessary/mandatory. The new album that is being talked about so much these days could be the perfect opportunity for this.
  8. I think those who make fun of Madonna by saying that her head is "inflated" cause more anger. Don't you think?
  9. I agree. On the other hand, the tour is called The Celebration Tour. The cover has to be something related to the celebration and the party and not to Madonna being masturbated by another woman. Total inconsistency. I think that some image of Madonna standing out in the foreground dancing with the other drag queens (whose image would be in the background and somewhat blurred so as not to overshadow the figure of Madonna) during her performance in Bitch I'm Madonna will finally be the one chosen because that image will serve to represent not only the celebration and the party but practically the culture that already represents a artist with more than 40 years of career.
  10. I always wondered if Madonna really thought that collaborating with artists like Sickick, Tokischa and the others would allow her to achieve lost success and transcendence. If so, she was definitely poorly advised because it was evident that working with these artists of mediocre importance would ultimately be a waste of time. Almost a year and a half wasted on failed experiments that ultimately led her nowhere but stagnation. Whoever advised her to collaborate with the most important artist in the world in recent times, The Weeknd, was something that any visionary could have done. Thanks to this, Madonna's name once again stands out on the charts and in what way. This even served to mock the barriers put up by those clinging to misogyny who refused to play any song in which she was involved on the radio. I hope this is just the beginning of future collaborations with truly successful artists. Bad Bunny, for example, is the most successful artist in the world right now. A collaboration with him is definitely just a matter of time.
  11. Well, I think that something that can objectively differentiate Madonna fans is their level of knowledge and this may depend on the number of years they have been fans, access to certain information that is not always available to everyone, from their ability to discern what information is part of the sensationalism, from the reports or interviews of Madonna that they have seen to this day and not only from her but from other people related to her, etc. If there were levels that measured the level of knowledge of the fans, I think I would be at an intermediate level but obviously in this forum there are other fans who surpass me in that aspect and who are at a very advanced level such as Prayer, BlueJean, etc. And that is why every time one of them corrects me on a phrase or comment that does not correspond to reality, I will simply thank them for the clarification. Something I've always done by the way. As they say, it is never too late to learn from mistakes (like the case of the 2 million disco ball) and much less be ashamed of it. The bad thing would be to cling to wrong ideas motivated by pride and arrogance and that is not my case.
  12. It's true. On the second date, Madonna says goodbye to her audience. We agree on that. But on the first and third dates (I haven't seen the subsequent videos yet) Madonna simply walks off the stage without saying a word or gesturing any sign of farewell. Obviously there is a big difference in being present on the live tour than in issuing an opinion based on YouTube videos, but I am not exaggerating when I say that I do not perceive any farewell in these videos even though you say the opposite. Maybe we are in parallel realities or our senses perceive reality in a different way, but that is what I perceive in these videos. In any case, I think that some slight changes in these last minutes of the show would be very good and should happen eventually. Maybe Madonna and all the drag queens with their hands clasped and bowing (similar to the farewells of actors in theaters) would be a more memorable end to the party and a scene more worthy of being imprinted on the retina of the entire audience. I do not have any doubt about that.
  13. ok. thanks for the clarification. I always assumed that Madonna bought that giant disco ball because of a BBC article where they mentioned that maybe that was the reason for the high ticket prices back then.
  14. and without the need to purchase a giant disco ball valued at more than 2 million dollars.
  15. I agree with Celebration being the last song of this tour but I think the performance itself is very poor for being the last song added to the fact of her unexpected disappearance from the stage without even saying goodbye. Something that obviously takes the public by surprise and leaves them with a taste of bewilderment. I think more details need to be added to this part of the show. Maybe approach the audience and have them sing certain parts of the song similar to previous tours (Confessions, Sticky and Sweet, Mdna), maybe include other songs like Give it 2 me or Candy Shop or have balloons fall or some objects from the sky, etc All of this would add more attractiveness and richness to a show finale that deserves to be as impressive as, without a doubt, the beginning of the show is. And when I refer to the beginning I'm specifically referring to Madonna singing Nothing Really Matters. To sum up I just ask for cohesion in the show from start to finish. Simply that.
  16. I think this is not a good time to reveal this mysterious song because now the spotlight must go to this beautiful tour and her reappearance on stage after a prolonged absence. In this music market you have to act intelligently. That is why I think that the most appropriate thing, commercially speaking, is to release this song during her tour in the United States, either in the middle or during the final part, since this country will always be the main objective for an artist because the sales that can generate in this nation can easily surpass that of the rest of the world. I just hope that this mysterious song is not a ballad but a dance song with simple production and sounds that are pleasant to the ears, especially for those addicted to headphones like me, and not those squeaky and dull sounds of some Rebel Heart songs ( Bitch I'm Madonna, Hold Tight), the lack of fidelity in the sound (Mdna) or the excess of autotune (Music). I can only trust in the good taste of this Madonna 2023 version.
  17. When I saw the title I thought that Madonna had sung that song in its entirety and my emotion overflowed like the waters of a mighty river but... to discover that she only sang this song for a few seconds... Did you open a topic just for that? It's a joke?
  18. It's true. However, as fans we can only limit ourselves to giving our opinion of what is good and what is bad (objectively speaking) but the one who has the last word is Madonna. Personally, I have always disagreed with this type of kissing between people who only do it to attract attention or demonstrate a certain irreverence. Something so common in fashion artists these days. Even the kiss that Madonna gave to Britney and Christina Aguilera in 2003 seemed acceptable to me at the time but these kisses now are so... graphic and explicit... No, definitely not. Sometimes people are unaware or overly confident that nothing bad will happen to them. Such as those women or men who decide to have someone with a history of violence as a partner, those who decide to live in countries in permanent war conflict or those who decide to drive while intoxicated, etc. I only know that if in the future I end up without the opportunity to see this wonderful tour live I won't have to blame fate at all.
  19. "Can we expect setlist changes or surprises as the tour rolls on? I think… Madonna’s reputation is for always having a highly rehearsed, highly choreographed show and she provides the element of dynamicism with her interactions. But at the same time, her mind keeps evolving and reaching further. And it’s common on her tours to start to perform to audiences, feel what works and where there’s an opening to do something new. It would be foolish to not take opportunities to act on inspiration. It’s a long tour. Right now, what audiences are seeing is the pure form rehearsal version of the show, and as it goes on, there will be an evolution." This part of the interview especially caught my attention because it allows me to effectively verify that Madonna is open to change and does not cling to the fact that the public must settle for what she decides to present in her shows because she wants it that way or because she consider that everything she does is perfect. I knew that humility was one of her virtues and adapting to the requests of her audience/followers is an example of this. Right now, almost the majority of people are asking on social networks for a more spectacular show ending worthy of a superstar like her. I think this will be one of the first changes she will make to her tour as the days go by. Others do not agree with Bob's participation because they argue that he contributes nothing to the show. In this case I find it highly unlikely due to his omnipresence throughout the show. Personally, I don't care. I only would have liked him to appear after Nothing Really Matters because this moment is so spectacular and out of this world that it should have started the tour from the first moment and then gave way to the earthly, such as celebration and party.
  20. I've only seen a few videos of this new tour and everything looks impressive, like everything Madonna does, but...... Where is Music? Where is Rescue Me? Where is Frozen? This is probably Madonna's last tour (I hope not) and it cannot be that these iconic songs are conspicuous by their absence. Especially Rescue Me. If Madonna does not want or cannot sing it live, she could well have incorporated this song as an interlude with her own video, just as she has already done with Justify my love or Die another day on previous tours: A Madonna lying on her bed caressing herself, overcome by an uncontrollable excitement exacerbated by the prolonged absence of her lover. A chaotic state from which only his arrival at the end of the video will rescue her. That's all. Something as simple as that couldn't have occurred to Madonna's team and given the place it deserves to this beautiful song? Despite everything, my hopes will still remain intact and dependent on a second part of this tour and where new songs will be included. Rescue Me among them.
  21. Excuse the curiosity. Are you a lawyer? If you are then Madonna should hire you. You are good when it comes to defending her and not only in this case but in others that have been discussed before in the forum. You were already convincing me with your arguments but I remembered the concepts of what is fair and what is unfair and that is why I cannot be in the group of those who take this injustice lightly. Not on this occasion.
  22. It is a song that fulfills its purpose of making people dance in clubs or to be used in gyms as a dance routine, but it is not a song that has exactly remained imprinted in the memory of fans. And you couldn't expect anything else from an artist like Britney whose music has always been characterized by mediocrity with some exceptions. The story would be different if Madonna had decided to collaborate with Christina Aguilera because the quality of the song, probably a ballad, would have been guaranteed. Both Britney and Christina were in their prime at that time and Madonna could have chosen anyone but she decided to go the easy way and the consequence was an inconsequential song which only excited Britney's fans.
  23. It just can't be! Music is not part of the setlist?? It must be a bad joke. Music is the last classic that Madonna managed to position in the taste of the general public. That is why it is the only song that she has performed multiple times not only on his tours but also at special and historical events, where the attendees were not exactly her fans, such as Live 8 or the Maluma concert in Medellín. Music represents the last time we saw the innovative Madonna only to be kidnapped by a Madonna who decided not to leave her comfort zone and dedicate herself to following fashionable musical trends, something that has characterized her to this day. Something that is not bad after all but in the case of demanding people like me we always miss that innovative side that characterized her so much for many years. That is why I hope that Madonna reconsiders and we can finally hear this song in its original version and in all its splendor. Otherwise I will feel that this beautiful celebration will be incomplete at the end of the day.
  24. It's true. Hold Tight was another of my options after Frozen in terms of possible songs that could serve to reflect certain social realities. On the other hand, Ghosttown would be perfect to deal with the theme of wars although I don't know if it is part of the definitive setlist. And I think it goes without saying that Express Yourself would be perfect to celebrate the rights won in recent years for women. If we are guided by Stuart Price's statements that these moments will be the best of the show, I already want to imagine what the staging will be like. Maybe something theatrical and emotional and no longer simple interludes which were what was customary to do until now but which I think fell somewhat short because the impact would have been greater if Madonna intervened speaking or giving her point of view on these social issues. Something similar to In this life on the Girlie Show.
