I would definitely not say True Blue was her safest record by any means. Papa Dont Preach and Live to Tell were both controversial tracks and she had radically reinvented an image and style that had made her so famous with Self Titled and Like a Virgin. Confessions has always been her safest album to me, especially coming off of Ray of Light, Music and American Life, all three  of which were experimental. I still love Confessions though, because it is basically dance floor perfection but it is not an innovative record  

First of all she does have some experience directing. Secondly, she has not confirmed if she is directing the movie, all we know is that the script is almost complete. I was reading some of your previous comments that have been posted and you seem like sore grapes all the time, who will write off anything she does now as shit just because its not set in your precious 80's and 90's. How about you lighten up and stay positive. Things are looking up for Madonna fans right now, we just had the Madame X Tour documentary which was much better than previous releases, we have the biopic on the way, better social media lately to keep her causing a stir, the 2022 reissues, Warner is back which will mean actual decent promotion for future projects and im hoping a new album to be released in 2023. With all that in the pipeline, its obvious she is getting back into working hard again and Im tired of all the bitching from some so-called fans.   

Ok, I'm gonna be the second - I guess - unpopular one. For me, it is a pain, how overrated and over-mistified Confessions is. It was and is a great album and it was a very strong era speaking of image and style. But other than that it is simply high quality retrodisco, nothing else... so for me it is the most overrated one. As for underrated - I guess it is up to anybody, and it depends on when you become a fan. My fandom started in 1996 with Evita, and for me, the most underrated record is American Life, but yeah, for today Music is also a bit forgetten, compared to Ray of Light e.g. But it is only a massive private opinion,  nothing more - of course I love all her legacy, some more, some a bit less (yeah, poor MDNA, I'm sorry...)

I know it was a commercially successful follow up to ROL and produced a number one hit and yet I feel like today it is an album that is talked about less than American Life, Bedtime Stories and Erotica which are all supposedly more underrated. I devoted some time to actually listen to this record all the way through and it is fantastic and very ahead of its time, I dont hear fans say anything bad about Music because I never see it being discussed at all. My choice for overrated has got to be Like a Virgin, so many people know about this album, it was instrumental in her career and sold tons of copies, and yet I have always thought the lead singles were some of Madonna's weakest of the 80's. Not saying it is a bad album by any means, it just gets overhyped by old school fans who are judging based on nostalgia. This coming from a guy who became a fan in 1983.

Better late than never! Tiktok does seem like a better fit than instagram since it does involve alot of dance and music and more persona driven

Here we go again with the constant bitching and complaining, its like everyone waits for her to release something just so they can criticize it. I guess Madonna should just overdose like Michael Jackson so everyone can sit around remembering how great she was in the past? The only picture I dont care for is the one thats blurry. Also whats all this bullshit about the interview? none of this information is stuff we have not heard her say many times before and it is no reflection of what is going to be included in the biopic. Everyone calm the fuck down please. Sometimes I wonder how long some of you have been Madonna fans, we are talking about a woman who released Like a Prayer music video and put herself on a cross in Confessions Tour and you people are surprised that she used pill bottles to recreate a death scene. If you have some problem with controversy and provoking thoughts, why the hell are do you call yourselves Madonna fans?

It would be an absolute dream if Madonna's team could release something more like what the Prince estate is doing with his albums. Those deluxe editions of Purple Rain and 1999 are incredible in terms of new material, presentation and a live concert DVD. I liked the True Blue remaster sound quality but it was too bare bones for me overall.

Finally her team is starting to get a clue. This is a great idea for her to try and become active on popular platforms like tiktok where there are some potential new younger fans to win. Tiktok is one of those things that can really help you with promotion because videos are always going viral.

It would make sense to release everything in year order starting with the first album and like a virgin - maybe with this we can finally get the uncut virgin tour on blu ray ?

Purple Rain was testing the waters, and then BAM! We got those wonderful boxes of 1999 and SOTT, FILLED with all sorts of stuff.
I really hope Madonna and her team will give us similar boxes, or this queen will be wailing!

I liked the True Blue remaster sound quality but it was too bare bones for me overall. 

She finally made her first official content especially for TikTok and i have no words... Suddendly, out of nowhere, she makes a stunning short video like an alternative version of the Frozen video and she looks absolutely stunning. The dress, the choregraphy, her hair and make up... Now this is stunning. I am more than confident she came come back stronger than ever when seeing something like that... Making content for TikTok is a genius move promotion wise.
