These are reconstructiones from the GHV2 Club Mix

There are fan made remixes of Frozen, Ray Of Light, Deeper and Deepper, Take A Bow,  Secret apart of course from their official remixes of Don't Tell Me, What It Feels Like For a Girl, Die Another Day,

This is where the trouble lies. Of course she SHOULD tell her story but her in the directing chair is pure ego and low key insane when she can produce the movie and still control the narrative. Very few directors were able to do good films about themselves, only the masters like Felini 8/0,5 . Almodovar Pain & Glory and Spielberg finally did the Fabelmans last year.

Pain & Glory Is about Almodóvar himself?

Most fans focus on the reissues cause it's the shiny promising thing on THAT press release that we all want but this deal goes deeper (and more boring really) than that.

Her coming back to Warner in 2021 was actually her not taking her classic monster albums anywhere else.

It was coming back... but it was also not leaving, really.

The original Warner copyright time for each album expires 35 years after they were released. That means in 2021 she could have already claimed back "Madonna", "Like A Virgin" and "True Blue" ("Like A Prayer" in 2024, "Erotica" in 2027, etc.), to own them 100% herself and exploit them on her own or maybe take them anywhere else to another record company or publisher. I'm sure Sony Legacy, who already owns all Michael Jackson back catalogue and most of Prince second phase internationally and most the biggest ones in the US, would have been very happy to welcome her with a good deal ($$$).

So she negotiated a deal with Warner (for a good sum I'm sure) to actually stay with them with those albums (and the rest) and start exploiting properly her back catalogue, which has been done with "FEL", the digital singles, the RSD exclusives or the big check syncs like "Like A Prayer" on "Deadpool 3". The multi-year deal means that's the plan, to keep doing it.

The reissues, we all want them badly, but they were always one of the things the could do within the deal, not the only one or the reason they signed.

I'm sure they will start to happen at some point, though.

    Perfectly said. Thanks.
