My now deceased brother gave me his true blue cassette back in early 87 as he didn’t want it - I knew of Madonna of course but didn’t really take much interest after playing the cassette non stop I was hooked and became a fan from then on - also saw wtg movie at the cinema that year and still love it to this day( we were given free badges too ) I was too young to see the concert at Wembley though which to this day I’m still gutted about first video I saw I think was who’s that girl even though my brother was not the best person in the world I will always be grateful for him to turning me onto M - he also got me into Prince too ( may they both RIP ) 🥰

Doesn’t Britney mime even more than Madonna in her “ live “ shows ? Elton will have a field day slagging off Britney and M then if this is true 😂

That’s nothing compared to other legacy artists - look at those amazing Prince box sets for a start and we got unreleased demos and a full concert M s stuff so far has just been re issues and dumping stuff on streaming - hardly a big stretch of work on her behalf

Does anyone still care about this biopic ? I’m actually bored of hearing about it now 😴 all I want is unreleased audio and remastered music videos thanks M then I’ll be a happy fan 🥰

Well to me then it’s not remastered as you guys have been saying - if I make a cd using Nero express - it adjusts the volumes of all songs to the same level even really old songs I would use from 80s - didn’t someone say deeper was a bit distorted too ? Sound wise- I can’t wait to hear keep it together what they have done with that as it’s one of my favourite shep mixes 😋

I’m curious about the “ remastering “ on this so far - has it just been boosted so it sounds like 2022 music or do we think they went to the multi tracks ? I’m serous thinking it’s the former lazy option 🤨

I don’t hate it I just don’t get why everyone cums over the thought of it being on streaming when it’s been on CD for nearly 3 decades 😂

The only part of her management team I don’t like is she doesn’t listen to the fans about what they want - her and guy know we have wanted archive tours demos etc for years and they have lost out on a lot of revenue with collectors selling this stuff over the last 10 years and now it’s on YouTube for free - yes the reissues campaign might make up for that but it’s 10 years too late imo when we ever get the first album re issue announcement will be very interesting to see what they dig up from her archives

This is a very thorny issue with a lot of fans but I see a few issues here ; 1 -her priorities changed in the 2000s I think - when she and guy realised the amount of money she could get from touring the music kind of took a back seat and I think she got a bit lazy by working with multiple people and producers and we got mediocre albums since hard Candy 2 her look and image has also drastically changed in the last 4 or 5 years and she has alienated a lot of casual fans and some die hard fans like myself 3 I don’t blame either record label or Guy - SHE has always been in control of her career . The only time I heard her moaning about interscope was the Mdna album when she said she wanted to release falling free as a single but they refused based on not being commercial enough

Honestly i dont think this whole release was necessary but shoot me down - its just a lazy release and of course the die hard fans have thrown all their cash at the mega expensive vinyl sets and in the meantime we are still waiitng for unreleased demos etc ....

Don’t be surprised by the massive second week drop in sales then - personally I think it will scrape top 10 if she is lucky - her persona and popularity are still at an all time low imo 🥺

Exactly - I thought that too . We’ve not even had an album announcement yet for the reissues - her team are hardly consistent when it comes to quality control and yet people are so het up on the numbers in an announcement nearly a year old🙄

I still think the first album should be the first release - it should be in chronological order imo plus it’s the 40th anniversary of everybody which the press announcement mentioned both times - im not sure what unreleased songs there would be from this era though ? Maybe spotlight or some early versions of LAV songs ? 🤔

Because we’ve heard most of these mixes before - they obviously can’t even tell the LFL mix has already been released 🙄 I want actual unreleased songs and concerts 🥺

This was the most disappointing for me and any RIT dvds that never made it to the general public - I would love to know what was going to be in this box set - the fact they unearthed a song from BS no one has ever heard of really excites me for these album re-issues whenever we get an announcement 🥺🙄

I listen to CB more than any other song f Madame X which seems odd but I just love the vibe to it. Whenever I go to a Greek island I just play it to death when I’m by the sea or sand 🥰

i just hated the sequence - to me all greatest hits should be oldest to newest songs. its an ok compilation even though we have most of the songs already - to me the biggest letdown was the video compilation .... a travesty for someone who is probably the best video artist of all time - MJ and Bjork being the follow ups
