    EDIT: btw, piojx, 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, not the Year of the Rat, but, to all Brazilians who live in São Paulo ( @rodrigochecchiacan confirm it with a smile on face), to the local newspaper Folha, every year used to be the Year of the Rat... But why?

    Oh what times to live in...

    It was kind of random, the fiorst add featured an ant if I'm not mistaken, and the idea was just to make a catchy song so that peopleo would memorize the phone number... Then the second add featured the rat and for some reason it worked better and voilá! It was the new mascot.

    Great times when Advertisement was more of a matter of letting professionals create pieces that would almost reach art level instead of having creativity being crushed beneath the wheel of corporate branding and what's trending....

    So, this is the producer company that is working on the technical aspects of bringing the concert to Brazil:

    According to this post, the show will be complete (I guess this means teh complet setlist, the stage effecst and so on).

    They even ask people to try to guess who will be the guest judge in the Vogue ballrom segment, so I algo guess this means it will happen.

    So do I! If I know Globo (and I've been watching it for my entire life) they would certainly interrupt the concert to show local celebrities enjoying the show at some VIP lounge...

    Hopefully, that will not happen.

    Will the guests of the hotel have priority, or something? They can't expect 1 million people to go through the hotel? Or will the entrance to the beach be the hotel's beach bar or something? Can't figure out what the hotel's role will be?

    I found this quite confusing as well...

    In the morning, the mayor of Rio posted an image of the singer Madonna and wrote 'signs'. Despite the jokes, the announcement has not yet been officially made.

     

    In Rio style, a small plane flew over the Copacabana seafront this Wednesday (20) with a banner with the phrase: "Brazil, I'm coming" . g1 found that, yes, the one who "is coming" to the country – according to the sign in the sky – is the singer Madonna .

    The announcement is not yet official, but there is less and less doubt about the North American pop star's show in Rio.

    Earlier, Mayor Eduardo Paes posted art with images of the singer and wrote: "Signs, strong signals."

    The megashow is part of The Celebration Tour, which began in October. Madonna has already sung three times in Brazil, and has not performed in the country since 2012.

    Even before official confirmation, the rumors left fans of the pop star anxious. Hotels reported an increase in demand and many people from outside Rio risked buying tickets.

    “In my head it is confirmed. It's going to be the best show of my life. I’m going to take the opportunity to arrive early, book my spot on the beach and make the most of it”, nurse Ieda Caetano told RJ2.

    A teacher from Goiás came forward so as not to miss the chance.
