That’s my least favorite thing about Madonna, her snarky tongue at times when she shoulda said something graceful and dismissive (i.e. that “reductive” comment totally backfired IMO)... she should rise above, that’s what she preaches in her songs anyway.

We need RE-ISSUES. And not because we want the same stuff re-packaged but because her back catalogue is not up to date with current technologies(!) We are not asking for 5k quality but at least some re-mastering of her songs and videos would be nice. Most of her videos were shot in film anyway so with some effort it’d be possible to bring The Immaculate Video Collection to Blu-Ray!

I have no high hopes in terms of commercial success if she returns to Warner, I do have high hopes in terms of better songs/production and legacy protection. Warner would‘ve never approved some of the unpolished recordings she’s had with Interscope, which probably was a yes-ma’am of a company to Madonna.

I can confirm M definitely checks this site so she can go and do the opposite of her fans' wishes.

Looking For Mercy will be forever my favorite song from this era. But like many other Madonna’s recent songs it feels incomplete. It lacks a killer bridge. Despite all this I’m staying as a loyal follower, not a die-hard fan. I was there for her glory days so I’m also here for her sunset days. I only wish the people who love her had a little intervention time with her. If not, I’ll just keep having her in my prayers.

She has built her entire persona on enlightenment and philanthropy, so she does expect people to CARE about what she thinks/believe. We love her but she’s not getting a free pass for posting unverified, negligent stuff, specially not in these life/death circumstances we’re living.

Shall we also disregard that people with Lupus who actually need this drug now are finding it hard to get because of everyday people buying it as a “miraculous” cure for COVID19. Madonna jumped into praising dr Immanuel without verifying her history of conspiracy nonsense. #DemonSeed and #AlienDNA are trending so go figure.

IMHO...Madonna did peak in 1987 in terms of mainstream acceptance and being “cool” to the kids. 1990 was her peak in terms of creativity and social influence. Everyone had a strong opinion about her. 1998, 2000 and 2005 were awesome revivals but not her peak moments. About Dua Lipa, her music is fun but she needs to step up her live shows big time. I almost cringed during her iHeart Radio performance.
