The Megaclassics I’ve heard just about everywhere and the general public knows or remembers them very well. And the classics are songs I’ve definitely heard on radio but my friends responses were usually, “That’s Madonna too? I hear this a lot and never knew.” Obviously there’s a whole other list of “Madonna Approved Signature Collection” of songs Madonna would like the GP to remember her for. We would get Give It 2 Me, Girl Gone Wild, Living for Love, and I Don’t Search I Find in a classics list there. We got a glimpse of that with the abridged FEL.

Beyoncé didn’t use what she didn’t need. She was representing the house/ballroom era in her music and she chose to include M in that representation. She could’ve easily ignored Vogue the Madonna song. Stop acting like people use Madonna. If we want to talk about using, I’d Elton and Cher have been worse because at one point they couldn’t keep Madonna out their mouth.

But there’s those that have valid opinion on your work and as an artist you will have to take the refreshing positives with the heat of the negative ones. I don’t think it’s an age issue as much a generational issue. I know way too many older Boomers and Gen X that are not tech savvy and don’t care to learn a different approach to pretty much anything. Stuck on how things were throughout most of their life. Streaming isn’t relevant to those generations typically. They like CDs or vinyl or maybe they buy the iTunes version and just listen to that. I think there’s a great benefits to both but not everyone is like that. It certainly doesn’t help M per se, but atleast it means physical sales are still strong when she does release something. This has done well and I can’t wait for what’s coming. I just bought another standard FEL for my mom since it’s her birthday and I grabbed her the IC because hers is damaged. If you don’t need more yourself, buy your friends who like music generally a CD or something 😉

Not gonna lie, TUTR actually sounds really good and I find to be the strongest of the MDNA selection. In my version of the standard, I include it over GGW. Actually Ghosttown I think is more GP ready than Living for Love’s even though I love LFL. But I know she loves GGW and LFL most from their respective eras.

Yes! When I saw which they were using for Love Profusion I thought maybe it was the one l liked. Then I heard it and was like “nah this ain’t it” and found the Passengers remix. So good. I’d say Oakenfold’s AL is also way stronger in that blood pumping club dance version. And I find Music skip able with the one they used. It’s not bad but it’s like the album version hits harder hahaha.

Oh yes, and I def want that Confessions Remixed collection but I just meant for remixes compilation idea.

I felt the 80s were awfully underwhelming in the collection so this looks gorgeous for a disk one. Honeslty for more money, they could’ve released a “Finally Enough Love: All The Other Remixes That Charted” just to max it all put. Or just a companion disk that includes an extra remix from each of the eras. I Love New York remix from the COADF EPs is one of my favorites. I know it didn’t chart but that’d been nice to have on vinyl.
