The She's Not Me at the end was gold, and all leading into a self-anthem of demanding love! It's was a great segment. I had wished the cheerleading segment had been longer. I mean cheerleading, Turn Up the Radio, maybe even True Blue on the back of a 50s convertible. So many fantasies!

While, yes, neither created choreography of men in high heels, but boy has it seemingly caught on lately. In fact if you look up such a thing (men in high heels in music videos) Girl Gone Wild is the only official music video to show up right away. That's another one in basket! basket...

While I love Give Me All Your Luvin', and the video had its moment (great colors), it wasn;t lead single kind of video. Girl Gone Wild had a pretty great video, really an update to Erotica, which still has more shock value than GGW. Turn Up the Radio was just kind of sad. IT had more of a story than the last two. I feel that GIve Me All Your Luvin' was just so tailored for the SB that it should have been seperate from the album. Just dropped as a single. I'm Addicted should have been dropped as the lead single months in advance, so that GMAYL could shine as a single but not be the first taste of the MDNA era. Masterpiece should have been an actual single with a music video. There was so much they could have done, but the SB was likely an exhausting side project after recording an album and directing a film.

Leaking is a definite problem. Nothing stays in one spot probably anymore. She did say I'm an interview that she had Diplo send her stems to a song(s) and God only knows where those stems were kept and where she was working on them at. And once some crazed fan finds out, they will start snooping for anything they can get, if they have the ability to.

I feel yah there! Girl Gone Wild was a simplified Hung Up with a carefree attitude. Don't get me started on I'm Addicted! That was my jam for three months straight.

On a positive note, I can imagine we will hear a sort of spanish sound in one or two songs. I don't know if the Portuguese have that much of distinguishable sound from Spain, but if there is, we will certainly hear it.

Rebel Heart was great, far more versatile than Hard Candy and plus much of the fan base usually rates the album high on their list of albums from best to worst. Theres a whole thread to go see that. I think the success of the album is less important now and is more about what she likes, hence Candy Shop and Bodyshop.

She's pretty much always had *almost* simultaneous music and acting/film work since the beginning of her career.
The Who's That Girl Tour was named for a reason. The LAP era was born from her misery during her stint on Broadway in Speed The Plow,
Erotica was born out of both the book SEX and Body Of Evidence.
Music was made after filming of TNBT,
American Life's recording sessions were interrupted by Up for Grabs.
Etc, Etc, Etc.
 
MDNA wasn't my favorite album, either, but it's certainly not some horrible side project that just happened to be ready to release because of W/E, either.
 
If Madonna didn't care about making music aside from contract obligation, we'd already have "Madonna sings the Blues" and "The Madonna and Child Nativity Christmas Extravaganza" or "Madonna ReRecords Her Own Hits for Lipsync-ing Purposes On Future Tours" in our cd collections.
 
I'm looking forward to the new sounds she's sure to discover, and a new outlook her new home seems to have inspired in her.
The movie is something she's probably put a lot of love into, and I hope she decides to include her own music in the film, new or old. It'll work just fine for me.
