Was really hoping the beginning wouldn’t get cut last night, but alas it did. However I still really enjoyed it, my first Madame X show. I’ve got tickets to one more show, which is the first of a two consecutive show run this time (rather than the second) so if she is alternating hopefully I’ll get the full show next time.
Saying that, I still absolutely loved the show. She was genuinely funny and seemed in good spirits and didn’t seem too badly affected by the injuries (apart from having dancers in hand to assist her up and down stairs - why such a large percentage of the songs still have stairs built into the choreography is beyond me!! They’re really not needed for the most part).
As many people have said, Frozen is spectacular. Her vocals really shine though, as they did in the Fado song and Like A Prayer also. Hopefully I’ll get to see God Control and Dark Ballet next time. Towards the end of the show in one of her chats about James Baldwin she actually said along the lines of “as I quote... well, sometimes quote... at the beginning of my show” and looked kind of awkward/embarrassed in a funny way. She’s definitely aware of the situation, it must be for a reason that it’s getting cut for some shows.

Yeah I totally get you. There was a couple in the row in front of me in the stalls who were so drunk and loud and annoying. I just kept thinking, you must have paid so much for these tickets are you’re not even paying attention! People getting up to use the toilet too. Wish everyone would just sit down and concentrate

Is it possible everyone can move the constant whining about backing tracks and lip syncing into its own thread? Most of us come in here to get updates about the London shows. So unless you are reviewing a London show you just attended is it really relevant?

Omg really?!? So happy if so!!

Obviously I’m going to be extremely happy and grateful if my show goes ahead whatever the set list, but I will be gutted if she means God Control, Dark Ballet and Human Nature are permanently cut now. I hope it was just a timing/lateness issue last night and she doesn’t mean they’re gone for good. Was really looking forward to those performances!

Sad for those attending those shows but this is exactly what they should have done months ago when the injuries became a problem! I’m so glad.
Now people can be a little more at ease for the other shows and those who were attending the cancelled dates can try and get tickets for another date. 
When I saw that choice of photo and the amount of text I genuinely thought it was a ‘the rest of the tour is cancelled’ post though and my heart sank!! Relieved.

Oh god, well this is worrying!
And obviously I’ll be happy if I get to see the show at all, but at the same time if I do get to see it and she cuts those songs I’ll also be so annoyed!! Especially God Control!

We sound like broken records but I just wish they’d cancel various shows now and let everyone know which ones. Like every third show or something, however they wanna do it. Just so we can know and make other arrangements. It’s waiting with baited breath the whole time otherwise. 

Exactly. If she still feels she’s able to do some shows, I think we should respect that. She’s a grown woman and I think we have to trust that if she really couldn’t do the tour at all then she wouldn’t be. Obviously it’s devastating if your show gets cancelled but I’m sure she sees it as disappointing a portion of her fans or disappointing all of them. She’s doing what she can and that’s respectable.
The whole situation is far from ideal but out of everyone I’m sure she feels that the most, it must be infuriating having your body not let you do what you want it to do. 

Exactly. If she still feels she’s able to do some shows, I think we should respect that. She’s a grown woman and I think we have to trust that if she really couldn’t do the tour at all then she wouldn’t be. Obviously it’s devastating if your show gets cancelled but I’m sure she sees it as disappointing a portion of her fans or disappointing all of them. She’s doing what she can and that’s respectable.
The whole situation is far from ideal but out of everyone I’m sure she feels that the most, it must be infuriating having your body not let you do what you want it to do. 

I have a VIP book, but it was expensive (but cheaper to buy it separate and a cheaper seat at the show), but some fans aren’t as lucky to have the option to buy the book at the huge prices £250 upwards. Apparently they will NOT sell the  cancelled dates stock off on her website after the show.
If there are people who have multiple books out there because they bought VIP tickets, maybe they could say so and offer to help others who want one with some kind of trade or instalments plan? From what I have seen on here, there are a lot of community minded individuals I never see much evidence on other forums for Madonna, or other acts.
