The Girlie Show was incredible. She was dancing better and singing better. In retrospect, it was her strongest tour considering that but who knows if would have toured with BS or ROL. Vincent Paterson said that Madonna really came into herself with BA, but GS she had everything to lose. She danced and sang for her life.

It's also quintessential Madonna, more raw, personal and funny, while the general public prefer the mainstream larger than life Madonna. And "BAT" was the first of its kind.
She never sounded better live. Her voice, the mixing and the live instruments on the "Girlie Show" are chef kiss!

The way she put on that show with a "flop" album and the whole world against her... what an inspiration, an artist believing in her own project and vision. 

Blond Ambition is of course flawless but she was even more famous in 93 than she was in 1990, why is almost everything from Erotica era completely forgotten??

On Rain she really does sound like Cindy.
But I always though her biggest asset was sounding like Madonna or impersonating her voice on tours... There is a scene in the rehearsal of Confessions Tour and it sounds like Madonna singing I Feel Love but then the camera cuts to Donna, and it's actually her voice. I think she was hired to blend with M's vocals. The difference in M's vocals live without Donna singing backup is huge.

I recommend that anyone who is curious about Niki and Donna, that they watch this hour long concert. The video and sound quality are good and Madonna fans are representing. Niki is a vocal POWERHOUSE and Donna is a hippie flower child still searching the meaning of life. I never realized how much Donna sounds like Cyndi Lauper.

It’s always interesting to hear what they have to say about Madonna. You can tell that in some instances they sound as if they’re going to slag on her,  but if you think about it, Madonna is just a normal person to them, and their friend/boss. We all have shit to say about our friends/bosses.

Yes sadly, this morning she was so drunk she couldn’t operate the toaster and actually started a small fire that caused considerable damage to her deluxe kitchen island. Mercy was so appalled that she accidentally stood on Madonna’s toe. It was so upsetting as Madonna thought she did it maliciously. 

Well. she certainly wants you to think she does.

I am happy to confirm pending me getting the transfer right that the forum will continue on and I will be taking over.
