After seeing this show live four times and attending various other concerts by different artists where I noticed just few mistakes, yet hearing several imperfections when watching videos later, I've realized why imperfections are much less noticeable live.

Yeah, if you really pay attention you might spot them all, but you have to be super analytical, and that only happens if you're not caught up in the energy of the show.

When I was there at the CT I noticed when she sang badly, but not as much as I do when I watch videos.

I'm no expert, but I think live concerts have incredible pro audio systems that can hide some flaws with stuff like reverb or really detailed equalizations that just make everything sound better. The sound is rich; it's not just about her voice, it's so good that her voice is not the main thing.

At home, it's a different story. The audio isn't the same, and smartphones just don't capture sound the same way.

But, of course, smartphones aren't making stuff up, they pick up what's actually happening. But when you play those videos back, the mistakes that weren't hidden by the concert's audio are way more obvious.

The atmosphere of a live concert is also different. It’s electrifying, with lights, crowds, and the general energy of the event that keeps you from noticing the inaccuracies. Being part of a happy crowd singing along undoubtedly has an impact.

At home, things are quieter and more chill. When you're watching a recording, you end up zoning in on the details of the performance way more.

I think it’s actually that microphones do capture things differently to our ears at concerts. Our ears pick up sounds from all around the venue including the entire acoustics of the room whereas mics are capturing the sounds that are closest to them only. So in a recording you will find there is often less natural reverb , thus vocals will be clearer and so forth.

You wont need to fight at all. You can get front row in the pit easily as they're very roomy and people move around. Relax. If you go in with a confrontational mindset you will stress yourself out.

Yes and also it won't be fun. You want to make friends in the pit, that's the whole point of it. Its a space for the fans.

  3. Act 1
Bob's intro to Living for Love interlude

    Act 2
The 90's interlude to The Beast Within

    Act 3
Die Another Day to I Don't Search

    Act 4
Bedtime Story to Take a Bow

    Act 5
    Like a Virgin to Celebration

This is just my opinion, we can't really know for sure. But Wiki is definitely WRONG, I believe a fan just made those sections up without much thought at the start of the tour. For eg, Living for Love is clearly part of Act I since its a continuation of the Prince tribute. The Beast Within is likely part of the 90's as her exit from the stage is part of its intro. There is a theme of redemption which concludes the whole Erotica/sex/human nature narrative. Die Another Day is a rebirth/spirtitual awakening so the opening of the next "chapter." I Don't Search ties in at the end of DCFMA with the "no fear" chant, the same words appear at the end of that interlude. Like a Virgin is part of the final act as it features the LAV VMA's character who is part of BIM at the end. And the whole point of that song is about establishing that she's the Queen, hence dancing with MJ the King etc, so its all part of one section.

OMG yeah! "1 film" to go.... wtf else could that mean??

BTW I was right next to this dude in both of my Madison Square Garden (NYC) shows when I was in the Pit! He was operating the camera like 6 feet from me both times

    You are practically lovers now

The stage is significantly different. The side catwalks are angled and now connected at the end of the main runway. The choreography is gonna have to be revised on most songs as she used to cut through the bridges to make it from one platform to the next. And they also hinted that the main stage may be rectangular and not circular.

I don’t disagree , but consider that we can’t be sure of much going by those maps. For example, when we got the maps for the initial tour we did not know that the catwalk would be connected to the maintain via ramps/stairs. People were speculating she could have to travel under the stage to get onto the catwalk and we never knew until the show started how this was going to work. The Rio map is (from what I assume) an outline for people involved in the show and there could be other elements that aren’t pictured in the map in much the same way.

The first one was from the camera man stating this Tim2flyhigh Off to Mexico! 6 shows, 4 flights,3 countries, 2 load in/outs, 1 film and 1 televised broadcast to go until we call it a wrap on this Celebration Tour!

The second one was from a Mexican fan page stating that the camera man confirmed the filming to them.

I only read the cameraman’s info and interpreted it in the same way. I mean what else could that mean really?

It does not specify though that the film will be in Mexico. It could be that they film bits of those shows and use it with Rio footage to edit together the official final release for cinema or streaming. Perhaps include some BTS stuff as well. I kind of assume the Rio thing will be great content for an official release because it will be iconic. But perhaps they will use other shows too to get more shots and certain performances/aspects that will differ in Rio.

Yeah isn’t he the one who has the crane camera in front of the piano and those two stages? What I meant is that according to this Mexican site he has confirmed the info…

And as you mentioned for what remains to be seen

But isn't that his instagram you linked to saying they would "film" Mexico? Or am I missing something here?

Allegedly this camera man has already arrived (there’s a picture of him at Mexico City airport with a fan) and he has already confirmed Mexico is being filmed

Take it with a BIG GRAIN OF SALT as we know how fan sites love to give false exclusives

FYI He's been on the crew the entire tour operating the cameras. (Not sure of his exact role.) So it seems pretty official to me that they're filming Mexico. What they're doing with it, who knows.
