  1. Said that, I'm sure we still gonna have good surprises about the set list. I'm sure this list is missing at least three or four major hits, especially from the 80s (I bet on a Like a Virgin fado rendition, wich she already used in the Madame X doc, and Live to tell, missing from almost 15 years), and it will be flexible in some points, as in the third set of the RHT: she is going to sing old gems from city to city (my prayers are all for Secret and Rain with the Batukadeiras chorus). Anyway the voice ensemble this time is amazing, not just the big choir, but also the new backing vocals (how long this wait has been?!) and the orchestrations from the rehearsals sound so smooth and musical (The Human Nature and Future posted vids are incredible) that it does seem like a dream to me!!!
  2. Come Alive should be confirmed. She mentioned it in an interview for the Batuka video premiere, where she talked about the important presence the Batukadeiras are gonna have in her next show, alluding to some tracks titles, among wich she named the song.
  3. I love this place ... I DO love this place!

  4. Some thoughts in pure freedom, I listened to the record just twice, so... I see good old ones coming this time: Frozen Secret Live to tell (100% sure) RAIN (my big dream) Vogue Like a Prayer (almost sure, don't forget it wasn't in the official track list for Rebel Heart) maybe the acoustic version of Borderline she already played in Melbourne and at Jimmy Fallon's of course a fado version of at least one of her old standards like Like a Virgin or, why not, a mid tempo emotional version of Ray of Light Coen's Hallelujah cover quite probably A pair of old singles wich did not become big hits, like Love Profusion Bedtime Story Rescue Me Nothing Really Matters Human Nature And, finally, some deep cuts I just wanna dream to be considered, including even just one of them: SWIM SECRET GARDEN PRAY FOR SPANISH EYES TO HAVE AND NOT TO HOLD REBEL HEART (I think she will pick one track from her last work this time ... Rebel Heart definately was not MDNA) Oh, and I think that this pic would have made an amazing theatre bill and promotional pic!

  7. Sorry, I'm not an Icon member and I'd like to buy two tickets for the January Lisbon shows tomorrow. Will anyone tell me wich hour and link the tickets will be available for the general public please?
  8. Hard to consider historic theatres like La Scala, La Fenice, San Carlo for this kind of shows, wich are supposed to get people dancing, moving, screaming and not always being careful enough about the structure ... Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome has got different and beautiful spaces but the only really big one is a concert hall.
  9. Absolutely, I'm sure too, more cities and more nights in the city already announced
  10. The thing that's stuck in my mind at the moment is AFTER THIS ERA SHE'S GOT A CONTRACT TO DIRECT A NEW MOVIE, THEN ALL HER MALAWI AND ROSE MIST KIND OF STUFF TILL WHEN? ... 2023/4? ... scary
  11. ... and then, the extended cut of this RH booklet pic
  12. Well, this is going to be a long post, but I really need to share these pics cause I find them absolutely awesome. These are ultra rare Polaroid fitting photos from 1993 ... enjoy that body, attitude and incomperable freshness
  13. Thanks for the topic I just finished listening to the tracks and I was looking for a place to share and confront the early impressions. Orbit certainly took his touch by creating complex sound patterns and a much more electronic vibe to the whole thing. Some songs became more energetic (Sky fits Heaven, Skin, Nothing really matters), instead of the subtle, dreamy and much darker mood these tracks had in the early stages. Her voice consequently had to be adapted to the new sound, with a "louder" and firmer attitude, instead of the whispered, gloomy tone of many of the demos vocals. There certainly is an undeniable change between the pre and post Orbit involvement, at the same time, I agree, the soul of the record was already there. Personally, I like the new dimension these demos are giving to the tracks a lot. It's like discovering the other side of the whole project (the demos often have this straight-to-the-core kind of feeling to me, it's the same for the Erotica tracks). One of the things I miss the most in all her post-Music works is just her expressive whispered voice wich such a delicate, sensual and intriguing vibe was able to lend to songs like Inside of me, Secret garden, Bedtime Story, Swim, I want you. I'm madly happy at the moment actually. The tracks I like the most are Noting really matters, whose arrangement underlines the beauty of the armony and the solidity of the whole composition more than the final production imo, Flirtation Dance, sensual and haunting, Be careful, wich I'd say is better than the released version, Has To Be 1, wich is so dark and intense, inspiring complete different emotions, and You'll Stay, intense and very sophisticated. The two Babyface tracks are both good. I'm more interested in I'll be gone, but just for a matter of personal genre preference, Never love a stranger is a gorgeous track in her style. So, after 4 years without a single new note, all at once we're sharing this, just a month or so before the announcement of the beginning of the new era! And I have to say, every time it's amazing rediscovering the sound of her voice! Thanks again for the sharing, whoever you are
  14. Today Like a Prayer is 30 years old and I still remember that rainy morning when, still a child, coming back from school, I bought my first ever vinyl ... still mad about the song, still mad about my brave, creative and charismatic girl: thank you for all the music and inspiration

  17. The toughest were absolutely Who's That Girl, wich shows her incredible, rough and natural energy at her best, with a rockish attitude she never searched for anymore in the future works (I fought to take out of my list especially The Look of Love, Like a Virgin and Live To Tell) , The Girlie Show, my favourite one, the most elegant and theatrically coherent and creative (other gems were Fever, Vogue, Like a Virgin, Holiday), and the ReInvention Tour, maybe the most complete of her shows, about both setlist and imaginary (Lament, Like a Prayer, Music and Holiday were incredibly effective). The Rebel Heart Tour was, for more or less all the tracks, very intriguing and enjoyable, maybe it had less hyper-spectacular highlights (except Iconic, Holy Water or Living for Love) but a very high average level, in a way or another (intimacy, irony, real interaction with the audience). I think it's her most mature at all. That's why I finished choosing 6 instead of 5. Candy Shop was a mad image for me, that Great Gatsby kind of atmosphere that in Music got a little too chaotic, in that song emerged with the full tong 'n cheek attitude I'm mad for (even if the Blue Ray edit definitely ruins it imo). Sticky and Sweet is my least favourite to be honest... yes energy... a lot and a looot of energy. And then stop, not much else (Candy Shop, Vogue and La Isla are pure bombs though). Problem that the majestic Confessions Tour, the last I'm mad of with the previous four I mentioned, didn't have (Live To Tell, Isaac, Paradise). Blond Ambition is a piece of history, it really changed the game. Period. Not among my preferences just because, as the Drowned World Tour and MDNA, I always felt it cold, impeccable production but cold. Wow, I wrote a lot! I just came back home from a dinner with friends and I'm a little high mate, sorry

  22. So, considered that her next album is going to be released in Q2 (wich is about 5 months from now) and that the ROL demo assembly seems to be unhappily locked, I simply want to share how I'm needing anything never heard or watched before to surface. It's such a long time I don't get excitement about her: come on make us happy, we really miss this :broken:

I don't get why she's doing all these teasers and hype on social media now, only to release it in months to come....she should release it now, right before christmas ;) Otherwise we're already bored of the wait if the time of release is true...
