  1. I have to say - I bought the BA bomber jacket a couple of months ago when it was released, size S, and it's VERY high quality, very warm, and perfect for my body type. I would have no issues with the Immaculate VIP jacket being of the same size and dimensions.
  2. Wow...you really called it well!!!! Bravo....
  3. So depressing. I saw the show opening night and loved it. I joined the forum to share experiences of the tour and read other people's reactions. Was on a high after seeing such a unique concept from Madonna in a magical theatre setting. My two friends who also saw the show (one a non-fan) thought it was stunning and clever. And trust me: I'm not someone who loves everything she does. Bedtime Stories isn't my thing; the Stick & Sweet Tour was average, etc, etc. Unfortunately, this thread has now got me down about it. I think constructive criticism is fine (eg. why not Rescue Me? Why only part of PDP again?) but the whining here and 'career is over' discussion, especially from anyone who hasn't seen the show, is just plain depressing and frustrating. My fault for false expectations from a bunch of people behind their laptops, I suppose.
  4. Totally understood. The Brazilians at the show I went to were the loudest, actually - and a guy behind me kept shouting 'Madonna!!!' in every quiet period; and was Spanish-speaking. That multiplied by 3000 is going to make it a 'loud' show (don't get me wrong, I think European audiences are awesome and I prefer it louder at the stadium shows I've been to). Also on my night, even those yelling at her in English are hard to be understood because of her ear monitors and when multiple people yell at once. I just think it will be a little more chaotic in Europe - happy to be proven otherwise!
  5. Yes, I saw RHT in Germany and the 10:30pm start did not impress the Germans. Even some really bratty behavior (not unlike a few in this forum lately). I fear the European crowds will just be louder with more heckling, and in languages she can't understand - this will just delay/interrupt the 'talking' interludes even more. I doubt her Portuguese in Lisbon will be able to keep up, but we'll see. I'm also fearful of sudden crowd rushes when she goes down the aisles...
  6. I wouldn't pay to see that, but do go on about what type of fan I am like you know me. I've been intensely critical of Madonna at times. Her stage persona and 'late start' are not one of those times. Shrug.
  7. I disagree, but I respect your opinion. I'm a glass half full guy - we have a Madame X Tour, it's beautiful, Madonna hasn't retired, I get to hear some of my favorite songs, and it finishes about 1:00am (not 10:30pm). The world isn't ending. Maybe I'm deluded.
  8. Her head is in the clouds, by nature of being a celebrity (and rich). What's the surprise here? How do you think she behaves when she doesn't get the table she wants at a restaurant? Why? Because she can. Lots of celebrities are like that; the ones who are down to earth are either lying or true exceptions. The Polaroid she's playing a character (contrast this to Madonna in Come Alive or Frozen). As for the 'late' start; I'm so tired of hearing this. Really. No matter how many times people type it out on here and whine, you will never convince me that: (a) she's maliciously disrespecting the audience, because she's a total b*tch. (b) your life is ruined because you stayed up until 1:30am on a weeknight. Honestly, you know it now so don't go! The way some of you behave, you are probably all in bed at 9pm on your wedding night, or never did an all nighter in college. Or worse, you're probably the same people who binge watch Netflix until 3am with no problem, but come here to complain. But by all means, keep complaining...you will NOT change Madonna, and you won't change my opinion - so it's literally just wasted text.
  9. Ha, nice. Register, see what happens. I bet you a polaroid of Madonna that it's fake ;)
  10. As mentioned, it's just a little comical break. Perhaps the set is changing and/or she is just filling time. You're right, it does come across a bit 'diva'-like, but it is what it is. Madame X is also a 'wh*re'! (for money) :D Her banter isn't always the best, and her jokes are terrible. I think when she sits down with a fan (and even sips his drink), THAT actually works. I mean, she's one of us for a moment - cool!
  11. Yes, depending on your timing and seating position, she'll be able to hear you. The audience is respectfully quite silent in parts, particularly when they are trying to hear her speak (eg. during the audience interview). One guy behind me would shout "MADONNA!" very loudly in almost every quiet break, driving all of us quite insane lol. I mean, at least be creative
  12. It's just a play on words from La Isla Bonita...
