I was at the Tuesday, Dec. 18th show. It went well!
    * A/C was off. People where complaining about the heat. I asked an employee if the ac was working, and he answered : "No, because Madonna don't want air conditioning" lol. A few songs into the show, they turned it on! Thank god!

    * Show started at 11pm! (Only 30 mins late) , which is probably the most on time she's ever been on this tour.

    * Theather was completely packed. Great, energetic crowd. Madonna seemed to be in a good mood.

    * In one of the monologues, she said : "it's so cold in here" then a few seconds later said : "no, it's hot" "I guess i'm bipolar, im still trying to figure Madame X out, I love her, but sometimes I hate her" "Sorry I'm stalling, I don't feel like working"..

    * DJ Tracy Young was the beer pal of the night.

    * Show ended at 1am. It was a great concert, totally worth it. She did well and her voice sounded really good!

Madonna herself stated that she wasn't planning to work on new material and put out an album as she moved to Lisbon. She was intending to produce a new movie or something.
I may be wrong, but I guess it´ll take us a while before having another album and/or tour. Especially after her knee injury. Probably she´s going to undergo a knee surgery or other proper treatment and settle down for some time. I don´t think we are seeing the last of her. But what if she decides to stay out of the spotlight for the time being, e.g  the gap we had between  the Girlie Show and Drowned World  Tour?

So was I! That was sort of cringy and I felt bad for her.
Especially because some mean people took the chance to bash her by saying she´s decadent when in fact she was struggling to push her limits and make a statement. I mean, what´s the point? She´s way above it all! She just needs to realize that.

She wasn’t out of the spotlight at all between Girlie Show and Drowned World. In between she had 3 successful studio albums, Evita, awards, performances... For me the worst hiatus time was between Hard candy and MDNA... but I get your point about touring.
I don’t expect a tour soon again, but what about shaking a little the tired formula of waiting to have a tour ready in order to have an album? Maybe she can record more music in one year, perform here and there on open festivals or shows... the time is not doing her favours anymore. Also she can start to work with different collaborators, new coreographers... someone professional that can tell her how to use her body in a different way instead of trying to force the machine to achieve what she did in 2008-2012. I was suffering when I saw her dancing ‘I don’t search I find’ on that clip that she posted the other day...

I don’t think she could ever pull a stay out of the spotlight stunt now. She’s wildly invested in social media at the moment. However, I agree with you about her knee. Knees are the worst. I shattered my kneecap 15 years ago. And if she slows down, maybe there’ll be nothing for her to post. I feel like after this tour it’ll be a mish mash of her children taking over her Instagram. Until BOOM. She does a promo photo shoot for her new boxed set of HD Tours In 4K resolution...... sorry I’m thinking of Wham!

What to expect after the last Madame X Tour show of next year?
I wouldn’t like a huge break of 4 years again. That didn’t do any favours to her after Hard candy and after Rebel heart, not commercially, not physically. It was a really slow wait on her social media and boring even for hardcore fans. When the record was released everyone were already switching to other things or artists...
I doubt that an arena tour or a revamped version of Madame X shows for bigger places will happen after all...
But I think Madame X album and videos are the door for a more experimental Madonna with visuals and music. Not worried about comercial results and with more freedom to do what she feels. It will be the ending of the famous Live Nation 360 deal aswell... I also think that her streamming numbers are improving and maybe if she push the correct buttons she can switch her popularity to a good position again.
    What can we expect?

I think and hope she plans to rest and relax too.  Then after a few years, I hope she releases a new album and plans to do a greatest hits or Reinvention type tour with it. I think a residency in Vegas for a time would be a cool idea for her too if she's not up to all the traveling.

Can you imagine the fuss if she had sung "Killers Who Are Partying" changing the lyrics to "I'll be Palestine, if they`re incarcerated " just like she´s been doing on tour?
Maybe that was her intention and that´s why she decided to have those two dancers holdings hands with the flags of Israel and Palestine on their backs...

Well back when we knew nothing, the rumor mill was spinning about the Euro performance, apparantly negociations were slow because Euro wouldn't let her perform the new song she wanted to as it would be too political, and insisted on a classic instead. With the roll out as we've seen it, and the video in the bag as one of the first ones I think it's safe to assume this was supposed to be the big media draw right before the album drop. So a big second lead single. Future probably replaced GC, which is a shame, because nice as it is, it's also quite underwhelming for a mass audience.
It would have been even more impactful if this was the first single, yes. So in the alternative universe she would still sing LAP horribly but people would assume it was her nerves because of what she was going to perform next, there would be outrage, praise and hate and everything else that goes with a new madonna single. But the whole world would know Madame X was going to be weird, provocative and political. As a side note, in an alternative universe the choreo would be completely different. It would have Madame X center stage at a desk with typewriter and showcasing some of her American Life era bedframe routines. While at the rest of the stage severel moments of leisuretime are played out by the dancers until an armed dancer steps in and the scene fades to black (think Girlie show Erotica, with the boxers in the back of the stage) By the end, as the violence is moving closer to Madame X, she interacts more with the dancers, and then, please let her be shot in the eye, so all journalists will not get so hung up on the patch she wears for the rest of the album roll out.
Needles to say, in an alternative universe Faz Gostoso and Bitch I'm Loca were never even recorded, the booklet would include lyrics and the credits to GC would say written by M. Ahmadzai/M. Ciccone, additional lyrical editing by C. Spooner

Madonna Kicked Off Her Fillmore Residency With No Phones and Air Conditioning
Madonna's road to bringing her Madame X residency to the Fillmore Miami Beach began with a lawsuit. Last month, Madonna fan Nate Hollander filed suit in Miami-Dade County court after the Queen of Pop pushed back the start time of her concert from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Hollander argued that the late start time made it virtually impossible for him to re-sell his tickets, which he no longer wanted due to the change.
Here's hoping Hollander was able to sell his tickets, because for the first show of her seven-night Fillmore residency, Madonna took the stage shortly after 11 p.m. and played straight through 1:30 a.m. Before the phone-free show began, fans bided their time in the Fillmore's lobby, where they danced to a mix of Madonna's hits, most of which she declined to play during the show later that night. And even in an intimate theater show packed with some of her most dedicated fans, there was one other complaint: Virtually no air conditioning could be felt in the building throughout the duration of the concert. Midway through the show, the mezzanine filled with chants of "AC! AC! AC!"
"Fuck you! I'm cold," responded the singer. "Take your fucking clothes off," she continued, hinting that the hot temperature eased the physical pain that led her to cancel three tour dates in Boston less than a month ago.

Fans reprised their pleas for air conditioning a couple more times throughout the night, but it's telling that no one actually left early. The adoring audience at the Miami Beach theater knew this was a rare chance to see their idol in an intimate venue.
"I've wanted this opportunity to play in small theaters for a long time," said the singer shortly after opening the show with Madame X tracks "God Control" and "Dark Ballet." If fans were expecting Madonna's theater shows to bring them closer to the songs they grew up listening to, the master of surprise had other plans for them. The Madame X tour setlist is mostly comprised of tracks from her latest album, with the occasional cut from Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light sprinkled throughout. "La Isla Bonita" makes an appearance when it's interpolated into her Maluma collaboration, "Medellín." "Express Yourself" also makes it onto the setlist, but as an acapella interlude.
Fan favorites "Frozen" and "Like A Prayer" elicited the most enthusiastic crowd reactions, but the audience kept an open mind for the newer tracks, which were accompanied by an elaborate stage show that recalled Broadway productions more than it did the average pop concert. During the opening number, Madonna emerged in a colonial dress flanked by dancers in police uniforms and riot gear as videos of Black Lives Matter protests were projected behind her. Among other theatrical flourishes were a string quartet dressed in nun's habits and a casket draped with an American flag carried across the stage by actors in servicemen's uniforms. During "I Don't Search I Find," Madonna embodied her femme fatale Madame X persona in an interrogation scene that recalled Michael Jackson's noir "Smooth Criminal" music video.

Her kitchen sink approach wasn't only limited to the set design. Referring to herself as a freedom fighter, Madonna also addressed a flurry of political issues throughout the show, from gun reform to Black Lives Matter to Palestine, environmentalism, LGBTQ equality, and women's rights. "I made up my mind and I'm not keeping my baby," she sang during "Papa Don't Preach," altering the lyrics before pausing the music to launch into a monologue about the rollback of abortion rights in state legislatures throughout the country.
Sitting next to the singer — who relished the intimate setting by walking into the crowd and interacting with fans several times — one fan illustrated the impact that decades of activist artistic messaging can foster. "There was no It Gets Better campaign when I was growing up," the fan told Madonna as she held the microphone for him. Without her pioneering encouragement of LGBTQ communities, he continued, he's not sure he would have been alive today.
Even for fans who may not have hit repeat on Madonna's Lisbon-inspired Madame X and maybe found the "One, two, cha-cha-cha" of "Medellín" a little cringy, the album's supporting tour was worth the late start time and lack of air conditioning. Looking ahead to additional dates, fans who stick it out will get an intimate look at an artist who, nearly 40 years into her career, is refusing to rest on the beloved, paradigm-shifting art she made in the past, instead opting to continue challenging even her most devoted audiences.
"I hope I've disturbed your peace this evening," she said near the end of the show, in reference to a James Baldwin quote that was projected onscreen at the beginning of the concert. As much as she's proven she loves to provoke her audiences, it's clear her greatest pleasure still comes from challenging herself.

I wish I could go to one of the concerts in Miami.
Actually, I requested 2 tickets during that lottery thing, but I was told my request had been declined due to " an overwhelming demand".
Now that I got tickets and planned everything to see her in Lisbon, I learned that there are hundreds of tickets available on ticketmaster. Go Figure!
Well, at least I've never been to Portugal before and Madame X Tour was a great excuse to travel somewhere new.
