My favourite memories are being 11 or 12 and going to HMV and Virgin Megastore in 1993-1994 and each time finding new CDs to buy. I think the first ones I got were the 'Justify My Love' and Rescue Me' Maxi-Singles and maybe 'Vogue'


 There was something so exciting about buying CDs with a big 'IMPORT' sticker on the cover. I then discovered the Japanese EPs with 'Remixed Prayers' and remember nearly having a heart attack when I saw The Holiday Collection on CD. I NEEDED THAT CD! I'd become a fan after buying The Immaculate Collection so needed to have its counterpart with it's gorgeous maroon and gold cover.

I think the first 12" I bought was 'Vogue' as it's my favourite song, I've only recently started to collect vinyl again so have a few in my collection. I remember late 1994 getting the 'Secret' and 'Take A Bow' import maxi singles. I was fascinated at the different track listing and subtle differences with the artwork to the UK releases.

Another CD single I remember seeing, albeit, rarely, was the Erotica Remixes CD with the gold border. Back then, it felt like every time I went to the music shops I discovered something new. Nowadays I'm collecting more vinyl as my CD collection is near enough complete. 

I really believe my love of collecting Madonna's music, in particular CDs, made me want to become a professional graphic designer at an early age.

I think this is a good illustration of ‘over control’ some artists can have on their catalogue. In the long run, it only damages the artist as songs fade from public memory. The best extreme example is the Dave Clark 5, a huge British group in the 60s , whose catalogue is owned by Dave Clark. Their catalogue is barely existent on CD and only quite recently made digital. They briefly rivalled The Beatles in the US for a time but are pretty forgotten now as their music was so hard to come by for years.
With Madonna there must be something in her contract about Re-releases only mirroring a format they were released on previously.

There needs to be a massive de-brief at the end of this with her PR, webmaster and social media people who have made a complete hash of it all. No co-ordination, communication or common sense.

I have a VIP book, but it was expensive (but cheaper to buy it separate and a cheaper seat at the show), but some fans aren’t as lucky to have the option to buy the book at the huge prices £250 upwards. Apparently they will NOT sell the  cancelled dates stock off on her website after the show.
If there are people who have multiple books out there because they bought VIP tickets, maybe they could say so and offer to help others who want one with some kind of trade or instalments plan? From what I have seen on here, there are a lot of community minded individuals I never see much evidence on other forums for Madonna, or other acts. 

I'm one of those in the "I like the cover art and about three songs" camp. Personally I think it's her worst album. Survival and Take A Bow are the only two songs I really love. I remember when I first played it and being excited by Survival and having high expectations, which dropped lower with each successive track.
I like Human Nature, but less over time. The title track is OK. The video was better than the song, which was wafer thin (but I'm not a Bjork fan either so perhaps I just don't 'get it'). Never cared for Secret. So really, the first and last tracks are my go-to.
I have tried to like it more, but it just isn't happening. It's not an awful album, I just don't find most of it very memorable.

Yes if its a Greatest Hits tour. And if there is another Greatest Hits, I hope they seek outside help to get the versions used right. NO remixes substituting single versions. Stuart Price could do a decent continuous party mix disc for the deluxe maybe.

They would be paid by someone. They will have a contract for the full term. 

It’s pretty. Photo makes it look huge, but in reality it’s probably the size of a matchbox.
I think if I get to the show I’d want the badges and key ring. Maybe the water bottle. Wouldn’t mind one of the tour posters but i think they were some kind of package exclusive, like the flashing bracelet.
That said, I buy all this stuff and just pile it in the attic, which is already groaning from the weight of Kate Bush BTD and pop up shop purchases.

I don't know why but that suggestion of "summer tour" suddenly brought to mind an image of Madonna doing summer camp season at "Butlins" or something. I can just see the posters on the Promenade. Matinee Saturday!!
