I still listen to most of my music on iTunes and I'm not used to stuff like Spotify. It's not very attractive for me. It's more enjoyable buying an album and downloading it, I feel like I'm supporting, buying a streaming subscription and doing nothing else is not very fun. Vinyls are inconvenient to store for me. I'm all for buying CDs but jewel cases and digipacks are pretty boring at this point. I buy lots of albums from the kpop industry and the packaging is customized for every album and includes lots of extras. I must have bought about 15 since last year and probably zero western albums since probably Rebel Heart. Also the music basically never leaks before release dates so the thrill is even greater, getting album, music video, digital and physical release on the same day of totally unheard music is awesome. Western industry is always drifting and blaming piracy but they won't innovate or find ways to improve things or even a system to keep shit from leaking. They are incompetent.
