VogueMusic got a reaction from Voguerista in The Celebration Tour (Spoilers)
After having seen the show live, the ending was perfect. Not that I wouldn't have loved a medley of a few more big songs there, but while I thought it would be a bit anti-climatic, it actually flowed perfectly in the context of the whole show...and got a massive response out the audience. (And it was loud as FUCK. I LOVED it.)

And then she does that little victory dance on top of the cake. It’s so fabulous.

Sadly some of the press is picking up on this. I can't believe how desperate some will go to try to turn this into something more than it was.  Madonna did nothing wrong here.  She simply had no idea the guy was in a wheel chair, and the moment she realized that was the case, she apologized.  Some people act like Madonna should take out an ad out in the papers to write every stupid wrong she may have sone. And again, I don't see she did anything wrong, nor was insensitive.  I bet that guy in the wheel chair laughed it off!  I'm sure he knows Madonna is known to scold her audience for sitting. Obviously, she isn't heartless enough to shame anyone for sitting if she knew they were disabled.  It's just one of those moments that happen to the best of us... we insert foot in mouth,  but there is no need to make a international scandal of it!  Some people are so desperate to portray Madonna as some monster!

Ugh I saw that stupid wheelchair thing on twitter a couple days ago. It was posted by some obsessive gaga fan account who usually trashes taylor swift. Not sure if it’s the same person who posted it on tiktok.
I saw stereogum posted the tweet on insta. Of course that has exponentially more engagement than any of their other recent stories and the comments are a non stop hate fest. I replied to a couple and got some likes in support but I also got a bunch of responses telling me how I’m wrong and she’s like the worst person in the world. 🙄 I just don’t understand the insane hate she elicits in people. It’s fucking sad.
Anyway, it absolutely needs to be pointed out that that little shit stain that posted it on X did it not bc he cared about disability rights but solely bc he wanted to make her look bad. She was getting some good press from the Kylie thing and the Brazil show announcement and he wanted to ruin it. Anyone good at doxxing? That 🚬  needs to catch some heat. 🙃

Wasn't it a genuine mistake, where she just didn't realize he was in a wheel chair?  As you stated, she realized her mistake right away and apologized. I don't see the point in why some are criticizing her over it? It's not like she purposely was being insensitive.  We've all had moments when we insert our foot in our mouths, when not realizing a situation right away.  It's part of being human. I can't believe some are even making an issue of this.
My god she looks so beautiful in this picture.  While I love the latest corsets/skirts, this is still my favorite!

Haters were just waiting and searching for another "cancel moment". I know they were mad as hell that she's making so many positive headlines this year so they are desperate for negative content.

Sometimes I do that. It's frustrating for sure. But there's so many haters out there, its a never ending battle. It's like trying to fight the homophobia and racism on the internet. It's there and we can't do anything about it.
Today, amongst nasty comments about Madonna I also saw people saying Shania is a drunk embarassing old woman on stage and needs to also retire. Shania??? She's the LOVELIEST person, how can people hate her as well? To me this just proves it is pure misogyny and that people just hate on older women who don't conform to society. And yes, A LOT of them are women of a similar age saying these things. So that tells us a lot.

Imo she sounds even better now than at the beginning of the tour. I love her current voice so much. Did you also notice the change in her speaking voice? Its sounds a little higher to me now, i think it sounds like that since the latest LA shows

I think she really takes to heart her and Michale's status in pop music to heart. The King and Queen. Aside from it being a total gag referencing the king of pop, I think deep down she's truly honoured to have this title. And share it with someone who can no longer do what she does, but deservedly also shares that status.

I do believe there's an agenda against Madonna because she does not bend to people's wish, including fans. Even on this forum you have people always popping up to only join the negative parade even igniting it sometimes while praising b-listers in their respective threads. You even have people who made it a hobby to trash her on social media and all over the internet because they are mental. Pointing at Madonna helps them from seeing how much they need to fix their lives instead of spending their energy on someone who manages to get what she wants in life. That can be frustrating to weak souls.

At that part she likes to do a bit of taking the piss comedy and people she can see at the front. You 'get it' if you sit at the front of comedy clubs. They dont mean anything. Grandpa was probably younger than her. Lol. She has quite a bit of drag humour and British humour in her. Some wouldnt get it, its just taking the piss when they like and appreciate you for going really. Its banter.

It's 2024, Madonna has been around for almost half a century and people still don't get her sense of humor.

If we're tired imagine how the woman herself feels!
