If ever Madonna releases her version of this song for the reissue, I would cry.

I like it! Describes the most streamed compilation that she has, and it's a Celebration of her 40 years as an artist! 
In 2012 I thought that I would never see Celebration song performed anymore, but it was back for the last year's pride and I'm sure that it will come again on this tour! 

It's criminal she never ended up performing that mashup of Impressive Instant and Burning Up. I wouldn't be mad at her at all for slapping it on this tour.

Swim?

Interestingly, Swim had a similar creative path, but the Susannah Melvoin claims she wasn't credited.
“I was on the floor [of Orbit’s studio], just putting words together, and came up with ‘Candy Perfume Girl,'” she recalls. “It was a personal track for me. At the time, I was mourning my brother [Jonathan died of a heroin overdose in 1996], and it was the allure of drug addiction. I was pretty jacked up about that record happening, and there were a couple of other songs that I had done with him there.”
But Melvoin’s publisher got a call notifying her that Orbit had offered Madonna the tracks they’d worked on: “Candy Perfume Girl” was going on the record, and Madonna wanted a third of the publishing. Melvoin maintains she also wrote the original lyrics to Ray of Light‘s “Swim,” which, she says were “changed, but not significantly,” as well as the original melodies, which she concedes were “manipulated.” Yet in this case Melvoin didn’t get credit or compensation. The songwriter emphasizes she has no beef with Madonna; she feels the superstar understood exactly what “Candy Perfume Girl” was about, and that she made a brilliant record. “But had I gotten proper publishing on Ray of Light,” Melvoin asserts, “I wouldn’t be worried about my financial life.”

And while she's at it. Skip the usual "A soul's journey from darkness to light". Just sing the hits, cash in the checks, smile at fans that bought too many overpriced items in the merchandise booth and go home.

I wish Peter was here to remix this. He woulda turned it. Or imagine Junior. His mix of Living For Love was actually one of my faves. And burying that hatchet would be legendary. I love Offer's mix of God Control but his other stuff for her hasn't been my cup of tea.
I hope we get a live performance of BTU with Nile Rodgers on guitar. Someone get Jimmy Fallon on the horn. Chanelta needs a performance NOW.

Hopefully they'll release remixes, just for the fuck of it. I'm liking the song more and more. Especially the bridge at 2:25. Hypnotic.

Why couldn’t it have been the demo of Rebel/Avicii Heart that went viral. But let’s not go there…

Any chance of a re-up? The remix edit is my favorite version but the vocal intro is so vital to the song!

We all know that the original Remix Edit doesn't have the vocal intro ("Come Girls, Do You Believe in Love,...."). For the video-clip Warner/Madonna copied & pasted the vocal intro from the "Local Mix". Finally, in 1991, The Immaculate Collection gave us the proper "Remix Edit" vocal intro, but the song was edited to four minutes. So I've added to the original Remix Edit the original vocal intro from the Immaculate Collection. If you wanna enjoy the full Remix Edit with the proper vocal intro, here it is:

I would say yes. And was never on digital\streaming.

I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow, but we do know something is up.  Between the few venues that we've heard that has penciled her in, the Jamie King picture on Instagram and the fact she hinted wanting to go back on the road and even went as far as take a poll earlier this summer, asking if she should go on tour or make a film.  She literally has stated, she wants to tour again.  So we do "kinda" know.  A lot of what is going on now, have been tale tale signs for past tours, so maybe nothing is going to happen tomorrow, but the Monday after Thanksgiving and the start of the Holiday season is a perfect time to make a tour announcement.  ;)

That's true, but if she wants people to buy the stuff, she has to offer us the best quality for our money.

I was always curious the story behind this remix. Was it commissioned for a possible single release? M did say how cool the song was back during the albums press release.

Because the base for "Edit Two" is the "Album Edit".  "Edit One" is just an edit of "Edit Two" with 30 seconds less.
