I love LAP, but for a dvd release which only fans are gonna buy, WTG would be a smarter choice, I mean, like many have said, we have heard it by now, save it for next tour and really reinvent it, then we'll talk again ;-)

Well here's hoping! if TOAC is included in the dvd, TAB will be present there in almost the same reincarnation so Holiday being the only track from RHT's main setlist, here's hoping she's won't do any more doubles, fingerscrossedfingerscrossed

I know it's blasphemy, but I don't really need the bonus song tbh, I think live it works great, but for the dvd it could slow the show down a bit. Anyways yes or no, I'm praying dress you up and who's that girl will be performed for the dvd. I can imagine she gor bored with playing WTG but in the arc of the show that song makes so much sense and it's so beautiful

Shit, now that I'm thinking about it... "Don't go for second best" went for THIRD best! Pity!

To me EY would probably be no 1. It is, for me, the quintessential Madonna video. It has everything, the double persona (which madonna had played with in almost every video to that point, B, LAV, MG, PDP, LIB, OYH) a story arc that goes with the theme of the song, cultural reference (Metropolis) signature choreo. Just this time upped by 10, those costumes and sets are gorgeous, as is the lighting and the editing. And I think until that point she hadn't looked more beautiful than in this video. What I also love is, that despite of all it's glitz and campyness the symbolism here is much more subtle then let's say, receiving stigmata in a church ;-)

Anyway, for everyone there, I hope you all have a wonderful night!!! and just know there's some jealousy going on from this end ;-) ENJOY!!!!!!!

I just wonder if people would decide to leave early because they worry they won't get home or not have enough sleep if M would start on time (well not on time obviously, but say 40 min. late) but keep playing for 3.5 hours, taking requests, chatting with the audience... yeah I can see them all rushing out to catch the last bus while M's playing the first few bars of Angel. ;-)

To be honest I don't really know, it must have been at the back end of the like a virgin era, but in the Netherlands her singles were re-released between LAV and TB so it's kind of a blur to figure out the exact year, but it's probably 1984. But I was so little, I didn't fully understand that artists had records and also released new ones, haha, it was just kind of THERE. It wasn't until 1988 that I had my own record (obviously wtg as that was forever on sale) before that I only had tapes friends made for me or recorded from the radio. Even so, Material Girl was my tune! I remember strutting through the house draped in a fuxia wool blanket spreading around boardgame money, (ever the perfectionist I only used the black and white bills)
