This madame X persona didnt work as well AS the Dita persona. She always having to explain it. Should have done a spy themed video. I didnt get the connection between the songs and videos and Madame X. It seemed like a theme she had with photographers. The show incorporated it better, but I am still a bit confused about Madame X. When Cher asks "What the is MDMA?" I ask "WHO the fuck is Madame X?". Let me finish with saying i've loved Madonna for over 30 years. I worship her legacy, but this part of it will be forgotten soon. Hurts me to say but she should lighten the fuck up. Its pop music!!!

I love her, but I thought the W promo interviews were the most cringey. The movie wasnt good and she was talking about it like it was a "masterpiece" . Her interviews with Graham Norton too. She does not do comedy in interviews well. And her tribute speeches "yikes". Oh and any photo with the new boyfriend. Im sorry that is probably the cringiest.

She was considered edgy/controversial from day one where I live. People were very prudish back then, and the mere fact that she showed off her bare midrift and belly button in photos/videos/perfermances was enough . She was very sexual in her dialogues on the Virgin Tour. Talking about her "box" and making moaning sounds in front of teenage girls. In the Open your heart video she had a boy at a peep show and kissing him in the end. That too was considered controversial. From 1987 to 1989 she was considered more PG and there were talks that she had softened after Whos that girl, but then in 1989 when Like a prayer video was released there were no doubts that she always was and always would be a controversial artist. That is my expirience and opinion.
