  1. Hello! I'm back after many many many months of absence. I had to do it on purpose, I was avoiding the info from the tour at all costs. I saw her in Paris, first show, and this was my experience: I got to the venue at 7.20 pm. To my surprise, the doors were still closed. I saw some security guy and he told me that the opening had been delayed till 9 pm, with the concert starting much later, so I went to a bar and grabbed a drink with some other fans. We came back by 9 but we couldn't enter the place until 11 pm. The place was beautiful and I bought some merch (the programme and a t-shirt). We waited and waited and the concert started by midnight (I think, I didn't have a watch and my phone was inside that stupid bag). At first I felt... I little disappointed. I don't know, I guess I was expecting a much more elaborated intro, rather than that repetitive manifesto. My favorite numbers were Human Nature, Vogue (this should have been the intro), I don't search I find (I wasn't expecting to like this live because I don't really enjoy the album version), Medellín, Crazy, Extreme Occident, Frozen (although Lola's hairy armpits were a little distracting given how beautiful the projection was), Like a Prayer and I rise. I also enjoyed Rescue Me (although I was expecting at least a chorus or something longer after the interlude) and Future (I wasn't expecting to like this one and I wouldn't have imagined Madonna playing the piano on this!). After the concert, the real nightmare was arriving safe and sound at home. I ended up on a night bus, with all kinds of weird people, and I couldn't really go to sleep until 4 am. Even though I liked the concept they developed and the concert itself, I couldn't help but wonder how those songs would have been done in a stadium or an arena. I really hope next tour is bigger (arenas, at least) and better, especially because of the prices and the cancellation risk.
  2. Calm your tits, Madame X was born barely two days ago and now you're thinking of what comes next? LOL
  3. I'm doing it with the studio albums <3
  4. Yes, they aren't numbered so you'd have to wait in line.
  5. Ignore this ranting cause I got my ticket!
  6. Well, I got to the buying part but I had doubts and concerns over paying 220€ for seating almost on top of the theatre. When I got to pay for the tickets, a few minutes later, they were gone. So, yeah, I didn't get them. 250€ in my pocket in any case
  7. Same here, you'll have to refresh at 10 am.
  8. Wow, it's tremendously overpriced if you think that you have to pay 80€ for those.
  9. This doesn't make sense cause there are no more seats, literally:
  10. I got the email :D The thing is... I'm looking at the theatre configuration but I don't get it. It says that "golden" as well as cat 1 and 2 are numbered, but then cat 3 isn't (it doesn't say if it is standing or not though) and it doesn't appear on the seating map so... I don't get it :S https://www.ticketmaster.fr/fr/manifestation/madonna-billet/idmanif/464716
  11. Still waiting for the verification email here
  12. Just in case this gets lost in the hatred of the Eurovision thread, what's the sampler used between Future and Like a Prayer? I mean, I know it is Dark Ballet but the melody is taken from somewhere else and I can't wrap my head around it.

Who else does he remix ??

  13. I thought this topic was gonna be something like "Is this love/Voices" and so on and I found this mess
  14. Well, I'm glad we got the remixes on Spotify (and Supernatural, yay!) but this is simply not enough. We got "something" but it feels like nothing. Even if there was no physical edition of the release (God forbid her/them/whoever is in charge pleasing her fans), this has just been poorly handled. Like a Prayer is probably her most iconic song, literally. Like, I'm yet to find one person who hasn't listened to it and/or doesn't like it. In album terms, let's remember Rolling Stone writing that this is the closest that pop music has been to art itself. And yet we got this sloppy mess. Two songs missing and a doubious-taste artwork to wrap it up. I'm not even asking for unreleased tracks (we all know that ain't happening) but was a proper expanded edition too much to ask for? This feels as if your mother just baked a beautiful cake for your birthday and, right before giving it to you, she smashes it on the floor and then says "eat it". If you're happy with it, fine, but I ain't.
  15. LDLHA for Like a Prayer? That just doesn't make sense at all.
  16. This commentary is not only ignorant but also wrong as fuck. Millennials are those born between 1980 and 1999, which is a huge segment of Madonna's fans.
  17. 3 words: THE CONFESSIONS TOUR. It's got everything and it's Madonna at her prime in terms of touring (and success lately, tbh).
  18. Happy new year my bitches! :kissy:

  19. How can this come across as shocking?
  20. I don't really notice the effect that you have mentioned :S
