  1. Material Girl Into The Groove La Isla Bonita Holiday Open Your Heart
  2. Well he must have been listening to hours of Like a Virgin after that and no one would have found it suspicious.
  3. I'm surprised people can casually chat with her like that, my heart would stop. Maybe that's what the beer is for. Κατάφερες να πας να τη δεις;
  4. I too haven't experienced the LAP era and it probably will never resonate with me completely, at least sonically, but it's the only one of the three that inspires awe in me with songs like the title one, Oh Father, Act of Contrition. It's just so powerful. That said, ROL and COADF are tied as my favorites. The first being the daylight sober and the latter being the midnight drunken meditation we all need. And their second singles are probably my favorite songs by her (those and This used to be my playground ?).
  5. What's also great is that she could have done two more halftime shows with different hit songs, all of them just as big.
  6. I hope the person I end up with is a fan too, which is rare in my generation, or that person won't be able to handle all of her music that I'll be playing through the years! I will seek that Madonna song in every playlist we make.
  7. Masterpiece. It was pretty much the first (good) song we got from her for the new decade and it's beautiful! The only thing that annoys me is that beat that goes on (pun intended) throughout the song, destroying the melodies.
  8. Would you say the same had you missed Future Lovers? ?
  9. Also, the most simple thing she can do is make a great soundtrack song for a big movie or series in which she will not star. I think her best selling single of 2019 was Material Girl in the US and that was because it was featured in a Stranger Things episode. I mean the last time she did it she won a Golden Globe. It probably won't be the next Shallow or Skyfall but in the streaming era it will gain a lot of points from the younger. It would be a great first step as a reintroduction if her name is associated with something else that people actually care about. If she doesn't even write the song, it is very much likely it will win an Oscar too, as always ?
  10. I had this fantasy in my head, where Madonna hit the Brits (Feb18) just before leaving the UK to perform in Paris (Feb20). Just one song maybe that's already part of the tour. Any chance in a billion she would bother to do that?
  11. Taylor Swift did with Bad Blood but of course the mix included guest vocals, probably cause the album version wasn't strong enough. The b*tch still didn't want Kendrick on her album
  12. Don't worry, I'm sure it's true even about almost all number one singles of the last decade
  13. Yeah, at some point we should stop accusing her creative choices. She makes more compelling music than the crap that is overplayed today, doesn't look worse than all the plastic and overtattooed people that rule music nowadays, doesn't make less beautiful videos than the most beautiful ones out there. Her biggest hits this decade are probably GMAYL and BIM and I wouldn't want an album full of those. It just shows that most people only reward vanity in songs. She'll have some good moments again before she retires and when she dies at 110+. Till then let's just hope for more exposure and more albums, more often.
  14. I liked the one she wrote to Quentin Tarantino after his character in Reservoir Dogs said Like a Virgin is about big di*ks. She sent him a copy of Erotica signed: To Quentin. It's not about di*k, it's about love. Madonna.
  15. Make some noise tonight people! We don't want a dead audience on that dvd
  16. Autotune baby. I realize it's a dumb song but I was never annoyed by the baby sounds and damn I can't get enough of that chorus.
  17. 1. Ray of Light 2. Confessions on a Dance floor 3. True Blue 4. Like A Prayer 5. Erotica 6. American Life 7. Madame X 8. Madonna 9. Rebel Heart 10. Bedtime Stories 11. Music 12. MDNA 13. Hard Candy 14. Like A Virgin The same color is because I like those almost equally so I could hardly rank them.
  18. I'd suggest that she make a new album fast, not too deep like this one, but one a little friendlier that will compliment Madame X and do a big tour with both albums, like Drowned World, after her theatre tour. Ten cute songs would be great, she's given us messages and food for thought to last years after all. I don't care at all about a new album yet, I just want new material from her every year. If she did songs for soundtracks or non album singles, M15 could come in four years again and I wouldn't mind. When people wait too long their expectations grow out of proportion and they act entitled.
  19. I agree with the second and third. Well her vocals and themes on Medellin match with those on Champagne Rose but I can't believe she was trying to recapture what the latter unimportant song is all about. She just happened to work on both at around the same time. And of course Medellin is better because it makes your mind travel. CR just stays where it starts. And makes an album longer.
  20. As long as she doesn't get lazy on stage and doesn't release a stupid twerk song I'm fine I don't think she's bothered looking good on the streets anyway, during this century. She can look great when she needs to. For now I'm much more eager to find out about the quality of the album, and then how summer ready her ass will be. Mine will
