I knew I should've told you to bring Kleenex! So glad you enjoyed the show. It really is an amazing experience. Did you buy any merchandise?
I bought the tour book and poster, and tonight I'll probably buy a hoodie. I love the shopping bag it comes in!

When Like a Prayer was performed, I don't think I've ever felt that many people "present" and "in the moment" at one time. It was so beautiful. Everyone was singing, dancing, and crying even! I have never cried so much at a show. Just hearing her voice for the first time live at the beginning of God Control was unreal. And her gorgeous face and body, her charisma. It was something I've never experienced.
This show is otherworldly, and I've never seen anything I could compare it to. And her voice was amazing - I really don't think the audios do it any justice. I also don't think anything was lipsynced. She must be doing much better with her cold because she sounded so breathtakingly beautiful. Her knee was still giving her some trouble, though. A famous magician got to share the beer with Madonna and they even did a magic trick! I can't even put it into words I'm still shocked. I'm hoping once I get home after the next few days I can give a more thorough review of both nights.

How's Center Mezzanine, midway back? Good view? I'm hoping that these tickets were worth it haha. Wish I was going to be in the loge. Alas.
I don't think you will have too much of a problem with the view. I think anywhere in the center would look amazing

I'm in the theater and my spot in the loge is fabulous. Definitely not a bad seat in the whole theater

Thanks for the updates! Keep doing so when you can. I can't wait to read your reactions when you see her for the first time. I was completely struck by her beauty the first time. She literally glows.
You're making me even more excited! I'm about to get ready to get the venue now, don't wanna get there too early in case she is late lol. I will continue to give some updates when possible

Here in LA now, debating between a mini nap or just staying up till I go to the venue. It's literally a two minute walk from my hotel! I'm exhausted but seeing the Wiltern all decked out with Madame X on the Marquee just filled me with so much excitement!

Thank you guys so much I love my Madonna family. I don't think my phone would last recording the audio of the show, hopefully someone will though. I will write a review for both shows though.

I am about to head out for the long drive from Utah to LA. The realization of what's to come is sinking in. This is my first time seeing Madonna. I couldn't be more nervous and excited. I can't wait to see you all there

I think it's a deliberate choice. It's clearly not health or family, as it's happened since the MDNA tour
I feel like it has a lot to do with disorganization. I mean, every first date in each city has either been rescheduled/cancelled. And it seems like the first shows are always the most messy.

After they bought their tickets and probably after they've entered the theater?
Yes. It's still better than saying nothing in my opinion

Wrong answer
No, not a wrong answer. My answer, aka my opinion. If this is legit, i think it's nice they are AT LEAST letting people know what to expect.

Come on guys, let's focus on something a bit more positive. It's so negative in here right now (even if rightfully so), so why not focus on the good.
How about that video of LAP? Damn she nailed it even being sick. I am so proud of her

I actually don't mind her, I just felt like if I put the Ew in there it would stop the onslaught of die hards calling me a Madonna Hating Gaga Stan...
backfire or what... lol
Oh that's good to know lol. Nevermind me then lol

It's not petty. They're the other leading females in music on stage today.
It's a very fair comparison, and it aids my point well.
Comparing their record sales or physical appearances/abilities would be cruel.
Current touring standards? Not so.
That's not why I'm saying it's petty, I'm talking about the "ew" comments.

No, but then again I doubt she could do my job for a 13 hour night shifts in a busy hospital either... and I'm always on time.
And no, that staging excuse is bullshit. It's a basic cheap stage compared to other major tours.
Everyone else gets on stage on time.
Gaga (ew), Celine, Kylie, Selena, J-Lo, Ariana, Janet (urgh), Mariah...
All on time for their show.
Its simply her attitude towards the audience. She isn't doing anything extra, isn't performing to a better standard than the others. She's doing exactly the same, three hours late.
Come on, is this really necessary? We're all adults no need to write petty things about other artists.

Yes and the show was amazing!!! There were some negative people in the audience which Madonna commented on but the show was fantastic!!
she said she had hurt her knee, had tendinitis and a chest cold I felt so bad for her
Oh no that's terrible! I hope she starts feeling better! Glad you had a great show despite her lateness.
